Hunt Blames JFK Hit on LBJ
I know it's a bit tangential to 9/11, but in the interest of all things security state and NWO here's a story from yesterday's NY Post. It's also noteworthy because it is yet another voice from the intelligence community giving credence to so-called conspiracy theory (i.e., for those who don't think 9/11 could have been an inside job).
January 14, 2007 -- E. HOWARD Hunt - the shadowy former CIA man who organized the Watergate break-in and was once eyed in the assassination of President Kennedy - bizarrely says that Lyndon Johnson could be seen as a prime suspect in the rubout.
Only the most far-out conspiracy theorists believe in scenarios like Hunt's. But in a new memoir, "American Spy: My Secret History in the CIA, Watergate & Beyond," due out in April, Hunt, 88, writes: "Having Kennedy liquidated, thus elevating himself to the presidency without having to work for it himself, could have been a very tempting and logical move on Johnson's part.
"LBJ had the money and the connections to manipulate the scenario in Dallas and is on record as having convinced JFK to make the appearance in the first place. He further tried unsuccessfully to engineer the passengers of each vehicle, trying to get his good buddy, Gov. [John] Connolly, to ride with him instead of in JFK's car - where . . . he would have been out of danger."
Hunt says Johnson also had easy access to CIA man William Harvey, who'd been demoted when he tried to have Fidel Castro poisoned in defiance of orders to drop covert operations against Cuba. Harvey was "a ruthless man who was not satisfied with his position in the CIA and its government salary," Hunt writes.
"He definitely had dreams of becoming [CIA director] and LBJ could do that for him if he were president . . . [LBJ] would have used Harvey because he was available and corrupt." Hunt denies any hand in the assassination, insisting he wasn't one of three mysterious hobos who were photographed at the scene.
On Watergate, Hunt says he saved G. Gordon Liddy from gagging on urine-tainted booze as they got ready to break into Democratic National Committee headquarters, telling him, "I know you like your scotch, but don't order it . . . Last night when we were hiding in the closet, I had to take a leak in the worst way, and when I couldn't bear it any longer, I found a fairly empty bottle of Johnnie Walker Red - and now let's just say it's quite full."

I wouldn't be so quick to conclude that the "driver shot him" theory is "BS".
1) The president was shot twice while riding in the presidential limousine.
2) The second shot came clearly as the driver slowed down the vehicle.
3) The second shot came clearly as the driver is facing the president.
4) The First Lady clearly tried to exit the vehicle towards the rear.
5) William Greer (the driver) was left-handed.
6) There were no secret service riding alongside the vehicle as protocol dictated.
7) In fact, at the start of this motorcade, SS detail were ordered away from the POTUS limo by the SS in charge.
8) The Zapruder film is clearly doctored at the point where the second shot is fired? Why? and by whom?
9) Nobody inside that limo ever publicly challenged the clearly flawed findings in the Warren Commission Report. Why?
10) JFK's body was mishandled as if to cover up details of a organized hit. Why? and by whom?
I'm not saying I agree 100% with William Cooper. I am saying his version of the events is far more credible than the Warren Report. Why do you suppose that is?

I've studied this theory carefully. Unfortunately, the Zapruder film is inconclusive as to whether or not the driver fired the fatal shot. Obviously JFK was shot twice with the second shot coming from the front.
My research indicates that what appears to be a gun is actually sun gleaming off of the other Secret Service guys head. Of course, this could be doctored. The video IS doctored at frame 312. Precisely where the fatal shot is fired.
Occam's razor would dictate that the driver should at least have been considered a suspect. The fact that he wasn't makes me even more suspicious.
CR, can you verify that William Greer was actually left-handed? I've never been able to verify this, but it would prove extremely damning.

Not intended to offend ,my friend.The angle in which JFK's head moves does'nt jive with the position in which the driver sits.
Ok BS is brash,but my thought is too many people could have seen the driver shoot.

I enjoy a spirited debate.
I reviewed the video at WWW.JFKMURDERSOLVED.COM. Tough to watch. Focusing on the driver, I got a good look at his position as the limo approaches.
Interesting it starts with both hands very low. Hard to tell if they are even on the steering wheel. A very casual driving position. Then as JFK clutches his throat, the drivers RIGHT hand goes up to approx the 1 o'clock position on the steering wheel.
Curiously, the left hand remains low. It almost appears as if the left hand is reaching for something in the door. Very faint, but definitely visible. It's impossible to say what (if anything) his left hand is grabbing. Perhaps a better question though is WHY ISN'T HIS LEFT HAND ON THE STEERING WHEEL? The president of the United States of America has just been shot, and the Secret Service guy is driving along WITH ONLY ONE HAND ON THE WHEEL?
(Sorry, for shouting... I get passionate)
Anyway, the doctored portion is visible in this clip as well. The driver's head whips back to the front far to quickly to be a natural movement. Also, the car jumps in an unnatural manner. I am an experienced video editor and my eye detects what we (in the biz) call a "jump cut". It's very quick, but it's unmistakeable. This film was definitely edited.
All of this is very curious and very consistent with a doctored clip meant to conceal what exactly transpired at the moment when the fatal shot is fired.

That being said. This is an interesting topic. I saw the Cooper footage about ten years ago. The footage is awful grainy.
I was rented JFK Assassination Films: The Case for Conspiracy not along ago.
It contains the clearest available footage of the Zapruder film. It goes into the point of negating the Cooper claims.

This is not true. She climbed out the back to fetch a piece of Kennedy's brain. Once you are aware of this fact it is plainly clear to see. You can see her pick it up and go back to her seat.
It is obvious that the driver's job was to keep Kennedy in the line of fire until he was hit.
If you have not seen JFKII. I highly recommend it!

Red Herring in my opinion and far from conclusive evidence...
LBJ was another puppet, just as the current Bush is.
I found the two documentaries on the JFK and JFK Jr assassinations by John Hankey far more comprehensive both in terms of evidence and investigation, and to me looks like a CIA / Mob Job and coverup, aided by persons placed in strategic positions of rank.
I highly recommend when you have a few spare hours to watch both the below Google videos and make your own mind up. I reckon you will be suprised at the amount of evidence presented.

Perhaps there is more in common between JFK and 9/11 than meets the eye.
Both "events" demonstate the depth of evil that has penetrated our government. Both "events" demonstrate how powerless "we the people" are against the military industrial complex. Both "events" contain video evidence that directly contradicts the "official version" of events according to our government.
