Yukoner tackles 9/11 Korean Air 'hijackings' mystery
2 flights that had been transmitting hijack signals landed in Whitehorse
When Max Fraser started collecting footage and stories about how Sept. 11, 2001, played out in the Yukon capital of Whitehorse, he set out to make a point-of-view documentary about the terrifying spectre of 2 supposedly hijacked jumbo jets landing in — or on — Whitehorse.
It's hard to forget the images of an American Airlines jet slamming into the World Trade Center in New York City, followed by a United Airlines jet hitting the second tower minutes later. The images were beamed to television sets around the world.
What Fraser ended up with is the mysterious tale of how Korean Air Flight 085, bound for New York City, came to land at the then-Whitehorse International Airport at 11:54 a.m. that day, instead of descending at one of the many better-equipped Alaskan runways it passed on its way.

My Day in Dealey Plaza: Why JFK was Killed by a Lone Assassin
On Tuesday, December 7, I walked through and around Dealey Plaza in Dallas where JFK was assassinated by a lone assassin Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO). Or was he? A lone assassin, that is? Yes, he was, but that is not what anyone giving informal tours of the plaza will have you believe if you give them a few minutes (and a few bucks).
I was in town filming a documentary for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The subject was conspiracy theories, so it was with some irony that we happened to be filming on December 7 because there are many conspiracy theories surrounding that date as well, a date that will live in infamy, as Franklin Roosevelt so crowned that fateful day in 1941, because he supposedly either helped orchestrate the attack on Pearl Harbor or else he knew about the attack and allowed it to happen in order to galvanize the American public into supporting England against the Nazis and getting the United States into the war.
Neocon propagandist hack and editor of the National Post, Canada's answer to the Washington Times, has once again attacked the 9/11 Truth Movement by issuing a series of ad hominem attacks against the University of Lethbridge and Professor Anthony Hall, who are supporting the graduate work of Josh Blakeney. Here is Blakeney's research proposal, work that will be funded to the tune of $7,714 by the university:
Dando uses both hands to pick up his piece of the World Trade Center. “Open the window,” he commands. “The towers were right there. That morning really fucked me up. The second plane was so close, it went shoom, right over my head.” He pauses and absentmindedly pats the pack of Marlboro Lights in his shirt pocket. “Because I was so close, I know what really happened,” he says. “I shouldn’t get into it, because I’m not a political person, but they were blown up by bombs. They were not taken out by those airplanes. Those fires were going out and then the buildings blew up. What I saw and heard that day was a crime, and not by the people they’re saying. That’s all I’ll say.” He pauses. “I’m worried about our country. But then again I’ve been worried about America my entire life.”
Cindy Sheehan: “I’m A 9/11 Truther, I Do Think It Was An Inside Job”
Daily Show's Jon Stewart's Talk & Book Signing interrupted by "9.11 truthers" in NYC! Jon, "I can't handle it..."
by Priya Warcry on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 7:49pm
On a rainy dark night, I crammed into a standing room only Barnes in Nobles near Union Sq. in NYC to hear The Daily Show's Jon Stewart who appeared with his cast of writers & their new book "Earth: The Book: A Visitor's Guide to the Human Race." Jon was to speak and answer audience questions. While most questions seemed fairly benign, a couple of people started asking more challenging questions about the terrorist attacks of September 11th 2001. Jon’s response was revealing.
In what must be a case of deliberate distortion, the NY Times attacked Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's claim that “the majority of the American people, as well as most nations and politicians around the world agree” that “some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated” the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The Times writes,
"The most comprehensive international poll on the subject was carried out in 2008 by WorldPublicOpinion.org, a collaborative project of research centers in various countries managed by the Program on International Policy Attitudes at the University of Maryland, which asked more residents of 17 countries the question, “Who do you think was behind the 9/11 attacks?” Their answers were grouped into four categories: Al Qaeda; the U.S. government; Israel; other.
If you are new to 9/11 Truth, you should begin by reading Jon Gold's excellent summary of the evidence he has collected over the past several years. Please visit the link for a full and fully hyperlinked version.

Before I begin, I would like to say that theorizing about what happened on 9/11, when you’re not being given answers to your questions about that day by the people who SHOULD be able to do so, is PERFECTLY normal. As is suspecting that the reason these answers aren’t being given is “sinister” in nature. As Ray McGovern said, “for people to dismiss these questioners as “conspiratorial advocates”, or “conspiratorial theorists”… that’s completely out of line because the… The questions remain because the President who should be able to answer them, WILL NOT.” When you think about everything the previous Administration did in 8 years, the idea that they might not be giving us the answers we seek because of something “sinister” is not crazy. In fact, it’s the most logical conclusion one can come to at this point. After years of obfuscation, spin, lies, and cover-ups regarding the 9/11 attacks, it is unavoidable to think that criminal complicity is the reason why.
Why We Love to Hate Conspiracy Theories: 911 Truth as Threat to the IntelligentsiaWhy We Love to Hate Conspiracy Theories: 911 Truth as Threat to the Intelligentsia
by Denis Rancourt / September 13th, 2010
Especially left and liberal professionals and service intellectuals but also right-wing members of the intelligentsia vehemently attack and ridicule “conspiracy theories” such as the present 911 Truth movement.
It’s as though power did not covertly orchestrate its predation of us? Is that not the modus operandi of power?
Is it so difficult to believe that the complex and highly successful military attack on US soil that was 911 (levelling three gigantic sky scrapers, blasting a hole into the Pentagon, and destroying four commercial jets and their passengers) was not orchestrated by a religious zealot from a cave in Afghanistan and executed by failed Cessna pilot trainees with box cutters? Or that those who measurably benefited in the trillions had nothing to do with it?
What the hell? Not even (admittedly rare) authoritative mainstream reports seem to matter.1
What ever happened to “war is a racket” and “follow the money”?
It's a 30-minute interview, and Wilkerson tries to emphasize the "incompetence" angle, but he says some interesting things about the government, for a guy who used to be in it.

To: U.S. State Legislators and Congress
A Testament and Proclamation
Democracy and popular control of government require public officials who speak truthfully about their intentions and actions; who respect, obey, and execute the nation's laws and treaties without deference to wealth and power and certainly without exceptions for themselves; and who openly and thoroughly investigate defense failures, financial crises, environmental disasters, and other national tragedies. To abrogate any of these responsibilities is to abuse the public trust and attack democracy itself.
We the Undersigned find, based on substantial available evidence, that the United States Government, including the Office of the President, Congress and ancillary agencies, have intentionally, systematically and serially defrauded the American people in what we find to be State Crimes Against Democracy (SCAD): actions undertaken in direct violation of sworn oaths of office to circumvent, exploit, undermine or subvert laws, the constitutional order, or the public awareness essential to popular control of government.
Most recently, these State Crimes Against Democracy have included:
