So let's get this straight: U.S. taxpayer dollars are subsidizing al-Qaeda's emerging Lebanese affiliate. Remember that as you fill out your income tax forms this year.
The "war on terrorism" sparked by al-Qaeda's 9/11 attack has ended with the U.S. in alliance with bin Laden's boys against a supposedly emerging Shi'ite threat. Now how bitter is that ironic twist?
Forget al-Qaeda: nobody is even trying to capture bin Laden, and no wonder. He's our ally now. That's what Michael Scheuer has always said, but now I see it's official. Bin Laden was yesterday's villain: today's hate figure is President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran.

This ought to prod Raimondo into re-thinking 9/11
but knowing him, it won't. Lay out all the pieces before his eyes of collusion between U.S.-British intelligence and Muslim extremists, and he still won't get it, will still see only 'blowback' when it comes to 9/11, will continue to deride all of us as tinfoil-hat wearing nuts, will continue to characterize our position in a preposterous light as that of 'we attacked ourselves'--even while the libertarian commentary on his site make clear the errors of confusing the country at large with its governing institutions through the misuse of those very pronouns--'we', 'us', 'ourselves'.
Gee, Justin--do you think that maybe the people now colluding with the ones who allegedly attacked us on 9/11 might possibly have been colluding with them ON 9/11?
