Rosie won't be back on 'The View'

Rosie O'Donnell has fought her last fight at `The View.' ABC said Friday she won't be back on the show following her angry confrontation with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday.

O'Donnell asked for, and received, an early exit from her contract. She was due to leave "The View" in mid-June.

"Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at `The View,'" show creator Barbara Walters said. "I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."

In a statement, O'Donnell said she was grateful. "It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."

Presumably, that includes Hasselbeck. The two exchanged bitter words on Wednesday over O'Donnell's opposition to the war in Iraq. They've frequently had snippy political exchanges during O'Donnell's year on the daytime chatfest, but never as long and loud as that one.

Good for her

After EH sold her down the river, by not defending her, when EH knew Rosie didnt think the troops were terr-ists, while supposedly being Rosie's "friend", is disgusting to say the least. She (EH) was probably protecting future job opportunities with Fux News - What a sell-out. I don't blame RO for leaving, it was clearly personal, and she knew what ABC was going to try and do over the course of her last month (ie discredit and embarass, etc), so in my opinion she did the right thing and went out on her terms, and along the way she seeded the minds of the sleeping populace with chunks of the truth. We need more people like her (RO) in places of public discourse.

Job well done, and kudos to RO

you know what assume means?

After Rosie asked Elisabeth about the 650,000 inoccent Iraq's that are dead, Elisabeth assumed Rosie was calling the Soldiers Terrorists. The Soldiers are Pawns, Suckers or accomplices after the fact. The soldiers are just following orders from high. Elisabeth should have asked if Rosie thought the bush administration was the terrorist. Since they have ordered the soldiers to invade a country that had nothing to do with 9/11.

Elisabeth made a statement about the president sitting in the classroom, saying he didn't want to scare the children. He should have told the children he had important government matters that needed his attention more. This would be quite understandable to the children and would not have frightened anyone. To sit there, would endanger the entire school to an attack by the terrorist, unless the secret service positively knew he was not in any danger. Secret Service is always in the loop of any major matters of this country.

Everyone that has not done any research into the truth of 9/11 are easy to spot. They always seem to parrot fox news.
