Just finished reading
"The Shell Game", and it is indeed a grab-you-by-the-throat thriller. It arrived yesterday afternoon from Amazon and was near impossible to put down. Thanks to Steve Alten for putting so much heart into this story.
I'll re-read this one, as I do all books that move me.

I am definitely going to get it and read it.
I think his work can benefit our movement if it is taken in the right context.
It is a work of "fiction". But so was George Orwell's Animal Farm, 1984... etc
Yet imagine what impact those two works of "fiction" have had in our psyche and understanding of Totalitarianism and "Big Government".
Great works of literature have a powerful way of shaping the cultural landscape.
As long as it gets people to start thinking and delving deeper we stand a better chance of raising awareness.
There are many ways to skin a cat and the Shell Game looks like a unique method with its own merits.

Looks like an radio excellent schedule, keep up the good work! I like the mix of Democracy Now, music, and truth talk. While I'm still disappointed with Amy "won't go there" Goodman, her audience is ripe for our message, so mixing up truth talk and music with DN is a great idea.

..every work of Orwell's, I doubt that.
That isn't a slight on Alten--it just takes much more than pulp fiction, however good, to be in Orwell's league. ;-)

Are you aware that he promotes hoaxes? Pods, missiles and flashes are considered hoaxes these days by most people, so advocating people who continue to pump those ideas into the movement and make money off them probably isn't that helpful. Could his musical abilities really be worth pods, missiles and flashes?
