FBI: Man Planned to Bomb Dallas Building

DALLAS - Dallas FBI agents arrested a Jordanian citizen Thursday afternoon for attempting to bomb a skyscraper in Downtown Dallas.
According to the bureau, 19-year-old Mosam Maher Husein Smadi was arrested and charged for attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.
Smadi had been under continuous FBI surveillance and was arrested after he allegedly placed an inactive car bomb near Fountain Place, a 60-story glass office tower located at 1445 Ross Avenue, the FBI said.

According to a press release, Smadi is in the United States illegally, living and working in Italy, Texas.
"He has repeatedly espoused his desire to commit violent Jihad and has been the focus of an undercover FBI investigation," the release states.
Undercover agents posing as members of an al-Qaida sleeper cell were introduced to him and they said he made clear his intention to serve as a soldier for Osama Bin Ladin and al-Qaida. He told them he came to the country specifically to comit "violent Jihad against those he deemed to be enemies of Islam."
The agents meeting with Smadi said they discussed the logistics and timing of the attack. He stated he would have preferred to do the attack on Sept. 11, but decided to wait until after the month of Ramadan, which ended on Sunday, the FBI said.
At the conclusion of the meeting, FBI agents said they secretly ensured Smadi had only an inactive explosive device which contained no explosive materials.
The arrest is not related to recent events in Colorado, New York or Springfield, according to the FBI. Investigations determined he was not associated with other terrorist organizations.
"The highest priority of the FBI and the Department of Justice remains the prevention of another terrorist attack within the United States," said James T. Jacks, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. "In that effort, it is the job of the FBI to locate and identify individuals intent upon carrying out any type of attack upon this country and its citizens/residents."
If convicted, Smadi faces up to life in prison.

New attacks attempt.
I hope this was not during "exercises to prevent bombing of downtown skyscrapers" by inactive bombs. .. anyway, this time, law enforcement, caught the action, prevented anything from happening.
That is the way to go.
And as the bumper sticker said "They do not hate us "because of our freedoms", but because of our imperialism" ......... it's the wars of occupation I guess then ...:/

It is so obvious, but many will fall for this. Across the country they are ramping up the propaganda and the strategy of tension. Could they be setting the stage for another false flag event?

Some tidbits from the 9pm Fox News Report...
Per the local Fox news report...Evidently, Smadi was not part of any "sleeper cell" or group. He drove the fake explosives into the underground parking below the building and was allowed to push the cell phone button in order to "detonate the explosives".
Fountain Place is the fifth largest building in downtown Dallas. It tenants include Wells Fargo bank, architectural firms, law offices, etc. Miles and miles of underground walkway tunnels connect many of the downtown Dallas office buildings.
NBC national news @ 6pm had stories on recent bomb/terrorist threats around the country, while they were also covering the G-20 story. Luke was briefly on national TV when they showed the protests.

Can someone explain to me how the FBI - which obstructed justice itself and ignored complaints of fishiness in its ranks pre-9/11 - is so adeptly able to infiltrate an alleged terrorist’s plan and SUBSTITUTE his WMD with inactive material in Dallas?
Something smells very fishy with this and all these other stories suddenly popping up – along with likely-dead Osama bin Laden releasing yet ANOTHER video tape to the press and NO ONE can say where these tapes come from and where the suspected boogeyman is!
Do all of these alphabet federal agencies and their supposed "leadership" honestly expect citizens to live under such continual deceit AND simultaneously say we are a nation of FREEDOM?

I couldn't agree more. It sure seems like they've been ramping it up lately with these reported incidents. It's as if they decide that it's time to press the 'reset' button on the traumatized, obedient, post-9/11 mentality again...and again, and again, and again....
What's the difference
What's the difference between a 'terrorists' bust like this (sting operation..LOL!) and a 'real' terrorist attack? Answer: nothing. Except in one case the Government found it more to their advantage to have the attack to happen (1993/2001) & in the other they found it more to their advantage to have a 'Dog & pony show' Bust!
