"Is this the family gun, dad; Is this the gun you killed Tommy with?" Sean Penn asks this of his filicidal father, played by Christopher Walken, in the 1986 film At Close Range . Filicide, because that is what we are talking about here as Alberto Gonzales tries to do a two-step around the Constitution. But, we all know better; he mentions enemy combatant ,euphemism is too kind a word for that term; It is a dirty word, a swear word, a don't use it in church word (and don't use it with your eyes lifted up to god word)a please, not here, word like bringing up gang business at a Mafia wedding: it means non person and none of us were raised in a way that supports that kind of talk.
I know a lot of people and I know a lot of Muslims, Arab or otherwise but I don't know any terrorists. Who does? When are you going to do that stuff? Everyone that I know is trying to: pay bills, get ahead, do an occasional charitable deed, put braces on their kids, pay off student loans, pay down credit cards, find a job, find a better job, do CEUs, and re-install Windows (both Pella and the software kind) so when, just when, do you have any time or money to shoe-horn any kind of terrorism?
My brother wanted a brick Federal style house and his wife wanted a Cape Cod; guess who won? So, his wife, who won't even let him play golf (because it takes to long) is going to let him wander off and do something crazy? No, like everyone else he is going to stay put and come up with the money to update the kitchen, in the Cape Cod house, with granite counter tops. Guess how Home Depot and Lowes stay in business? Hint, it is not nitrate sales and Ryder rentals. This bull shit, thread bare Terry and the Pirates crap has just got to stop. We are sick of it.
"The Gestapo Has Replaced the Rule of Law: Nothing will be fixed until the Five Criminals are arrested and put on trial for treason and until Congress defunds the illegal wars and states firmly that there is no such thing as “the unitary executive” who is above the law and the Constitution."
I didn't like the way he predicted, seemingly with confidence, that the future "war on terror" would be waged against American citizens in the homeland.
That was very disturbing.
The federal government has been in a big hurry to build a 300 acre city in just 2 years at an expense of $96 million in taxpayer funds in order to train the military “for problems we don’t even know we have yet.”
"$96 million spent on a fake town with real houses and yet a large portion of our vets are homeless...."
