On occasion, the public has been asked by George W. Bush to refrain from considering certain conspiracy theories. Bush has made such requests when people were looking into crimes in which he might be culpable. For example, when in 1994 Bush’s former company Harken Energy was linked to the fraudulent Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) through several investors, Bush’s spokeswoman, Karen Hughes, shut down the inquiry by telling the Associated Press -- “We have no response to silly conspiracy theories.” On another occasion, Bush said in a televised speech -- “Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th.” ...

I'm assuming you were referring to Bush's speech at the UN, and your comment was a condemnation of Bush.

I'm going to guess

that a one line comment combined with an often seen plug for the band is being viewed as spam, especially when it is the first comment on a blog and that people are just reflexively voting it down and not saying why.

At least that's what I thought when I first saw it with -2 a few days ago, -11 is a bit extreme for someone who is clearly well-intentioned, but perhaps a little too overzealous.

If the band is every coming out to the west coast, please let me know as I think I know of a venue or two where you could play.

Nice detective work

..showing some very strange coincidences and chilling facts like this one:

Jim Pierce [the cousin of George W. Bush] was managing director of AON [floor 83, south tower] on 9/11, and he had arranged a meeting on the 105th floor of the south tower for that morning. Pierce survived that day, despite the fact that twelve people came to the meeting in the south tower, and eleven of them died. The location of the meeting had been changed, the night before, to the Millenium Hotel, where Pierce watched the south tower as it was hit by the aircraft. Apparently the meeting attendees were not all notified of the change in location.

I have a question, though. What is the source for this piece of information:

"In another interesting coincidence, Friedman belonged, through Cornell University, to a secret society called Quill and Dagger, the membership of which includes Paul Wolfowitz, Sandy Berger and Stephen Hadley."

I don't see a footnote for that sentence.

Source for Q&D Membership

Here is the link to the June 18, 1958 issue of the "Cornell Alumni News" where, on page 19, you can read:

"Honor Societies Elect
SENIOR SOCIETIES initiated new members the traditional second Tuesday of May, to constitute their chapters for next year. The men elected are listed below. All are members of the Class of '59 except those designated '58, most of whom will be in the fifth year of Engineering or Architecture next year."

And on page 20, in the Quill and Dagger section, you will see Stephen Friedman, also mentioned on page 19 for having been elected co-captain of the wrestling team.

Great Work Kevin. Connecting the dots again.

One company you may want to add to your list is Turner Construction who occupied the 38th floor of WTC 1. Tom Leppert, current mayor of Dallas was president of Turner Construction then. This company helped with the hasty clean up after the event. They also were one of the companies applying the fireproofing. They also were going to participate in the construction and be a tenant in the proposed new WTC buildings. Aidan M found most of the interesting stuff on Turner. Leppert seemed to come out of the blue to become the elites' choice for mayor of Dallas.

I heard you on a radio interview talking about how the discovery of nanothermite narrows down the list of potential perpetrators and how you could possibly zero in on actual companies and individuals by cross matching access, capability, timing, motive etc..
