Someone posted a link to this over at the 9/11 dungeon at www.DemocraticUnderground.com - Never saw this before, so I'm passing it along.
"Building the World Trade Centers" a 20 minute compilation of film footage depicting the construction of the Twin Towers. Lots of steel shots and one sequence in part 2 of the concrete being poured into a floor pan. What appears to be lateral bracing on the bottom of the trusses also depicted. A WTC nitpickers delight, to be sure.

For the day, CNN will make its online video service, CNN Pipeline, available for free. Normally, viewers pay $2.95 a month or $24.95 a year for four separate video feeds.

over-written graphics & crawls pointing out Commission omissions,

conflicting evidence and statements,
"windows" depicting corollary information in time, etc.
Alternately, it could be shown again "as is" via projection in any community setting at which the moderator has a remote control device and there is a panel discussion involving people projecting additional information from movies, web sites, etc.
Explosives Pre-wire when it was built?
I heard a caller on Thom Hartmann show few days ago. She said she saw a documentary few years back on PBS similar to this one. She said they actually had put explosives in the building when it was built. So they could use it to demolish the building in the future. I find it hard to believe. Anybody heard or saw this documentary? The caller never stated the name of the film.

No way was it wired for explosives when it was built.
If so, why didn't they topple the towers in 1993? It would have been perfect, and the agenda would have been moved ahead by 8 years.

This is how cd will eventually be explained if we get a smoking gun. After the '93 op they decided to wire the buildings to prevent them from "toppling" if another attack ever tool place. In other words, it was to save lives. They will further explain that they only demolished the first tower when it appeared inevitable that it was going to topple, killing thousands, perhaps tens of thousands; therefore, it was a touch decision but had to made. It was felt that the publc would not understand the touch decision that had to made, therefore the pancake theory was adopted.
Also, Flight 93 was shot down to prevent the dastardly Al-Qaeda types from reaching the whitehouse. Touch decision, but it was the right thing to do.

Could there be some truth to
Could there be some truth to this idea? We all know they were trying to minimize loss of life in order to justify the atrocious action to themselves. Did they decide to wire the buildings to prevent a complete blood bath and the massive destruction of surrounding areas? not, as commonly suggested, to make the event more shocking? Were they concerned that the top of the buildings might actually topple over? Just an idea. Perphaps someone smarter than me can set the record straight.

This is something that I have thought about a fair deal. Truth has a way of taking us by surprise. I wonder whether there is some key 'missing link' to the story that will become clear. either through a whistleblower stepping forward or through a deliberate leak.
It might be seen as a clever way of leapfrogging the truth movement, to construct a form of ' lesser of two evils' scenario whereby controlled demolition was seen as a wise decision in the light of the instability of the towers and the risk of them toppling.
Who knows?

Anonymous; I share no such fear, but you should do as you wish.
If you want to speculate in this fashion I would remind, that many have done so in the past and what you ultimately end up with are narratives that SOUND like complete science fiction and Dr. Strangeloves' who attempt to 'saving the world' through completely misguided overlords.
Although my inductive reasoning may completely concur with such analysis and speculation, deductive reasons/reasoning and convincing proof are sorely lacking among the general public. If you can peg it perfectly, and momentarily spook the overlord with your mental prowess, he/she has nothing to worry about.... "it's simply too unbelievable."
If you want to devise a counter, to whatever moves that Dr. Overlord wants to try next....
Watch TV purely for entertainment and for killing a bit of time. Never think of as a reputable source to learn anything from, and darn sure never tell anyone "because I saw it last night on the News".
Insulate yourself from all forms of economy which are capable of exerting undue-influence back upon you. Study adhesion principal (acknowledging the complete 'justness' of a thing and your submission to it, by handling it without denunciation of its repugnant aspects).
Do not accept promises of security in exchange for liberty.
Learn what just and genuine defense and collective defensive agreements MUST be based upon.
Learn the nature of weapons and how your enemy uses them. The ancient martial arts phylosophies we enjoy for entertainment, are based on this very principal.
Encourage liberal-earth-lovers, to reconsider the purpose and proper function in society of the second amendment. Just defense, and keeping collective governance in-check always boils down to a person to person duel... An aggressor vs. a defender... and these mindsets are traded back and forth, at break-neck speed. But the "gun" and it usefulness in justifiable defense, is not going to be dropped by the human animal anytime soon. Stop pretending that it will.
Certainly mind your words in polite conversation (as Rep asked me to reconsider my constant swearing like a sailor)..... but never allow your thoughts and concepts to be intimidated by charges of anti-patriotism or disloyalty.... especially in matters of life and death.

That's what I believed
That's what I honestly believed for like a year and a half. That day on 9/11, I felt Flt 93 was a very apparant lie and that the towers came down from demolition. I thought that it was wired up after 93 secretly to make sure they never toppled over sideways. It wasn't until I saw the pentagon stuff and read PNAC that it all came together.

let's ask an expert about pre-wiring
It would be great if we could put this question to an expert, maybe not Contr.Demol.Inc, because they might be gagged or might be part of the plot.
I guess putting the actual explosive charges into a building would be in violation of numerous safety laws concerning TNT. First the danger of it detonating accidentially and then someone could get access to them and steal them without anyone's knowledge.
Don't keep asking experts, use your very own head.

OK, if you want to talk about crazy ones.... think about the old technology (WWII) of coating re-bar with plastique and wiring it for push-button or auto-destruction. Very stable and difficult to access. 'Don't need the structure anymore, deny it to the enemy as well'.
But this is all "crazy" speculation.
Go with the simpler; rigging a building in surprisingly short amounts of time, with surprising light and dependable wireless charges. 'Two tons of shit, 19-man team (toss in a few women to foil suspicion), six hours start to finish.'
Don't let people pretend it's harder than that. And don't try to figure it all out with ideas about 'water-coolers in the elevator lobby or a recent delivery of new trash-cans'. You'll just go nuts because 99% of the hot evidence was destroyed and carried away to be melted down.
However, you can eliminate the likelihood of tin-darts and lamp-oil hijacked by swarthy neck-stabbers with nail-clippers. That's the real crazy hypothesis. Keep the perps on the run until they are backed into a corner during a press conference. They really are that stupid and arrogant.

That's because the last time it was in the newspapers was probably in 1971, or 1976, when he was tried as a member of the famous San Quentin Six, six young Black prisoners facing assault charges stemming from battles with prison guards at the notoriously repressive California prison.
Yet that wasn't the beginning, nor the end of things.
Hugo Pinell (known as 'Yogi' by his friends) came to the US as a 12-year old, from a small town on Nicaragua's east coast. If he knew then the hell he would face in America, would he have left the land of his birth?
We'll never know.
He came. And he spent the last *42* years in prison -- 34 of them in solitary! He hasn't had a write-up in 24 years.
Now, his family and lawyer are seeking his parole after a lifetime in some of the most repressive joints in America.
Why so long? Why so many years? The answer, not surprisingly, is politics. Hugo was a student and comrade of the legendary Black Panther Field Marshall, the late George Jackson, with whom he worked to organize other Black prisoners against the racist violence and prison conditions of the '60s and '70s.
Consider this: when Hugo was sent to prison, Lyndon Baines Johnson was president, bombing in the Vietnam War was intensifying, and Martin Luther King, Jr. was still alive!
Of his introduction to the prison system, Yogi would later write:
"In 1964, a white woman accused me of rape, assault and kidnap. I was 19 years old. I turned myself into the authorities to clarify the charges against me which I knew to be falsified. The deputies beat me several times because the alleged victim was white, and the Public Defender and the Judge influenced my mother into believing that I would be sentenced to death unless I pled guilty. At their insistence and despite my innocence, I pled guilty to the charge of rape, with the understanding that I would be eligible for parole after 6 months. When I arrived at the California Department of Corrections, I was informed that I had been sentenced to three years to *life*."
California's notoriously unjust indeterminate sentencing has led, in part, to the present prison overcrowding that now threatens to bankrupt the system. California's prisons are roughly 172% over capacity, and parole is a broken, nonfunctional agency.
That's not just my opinion, but California's state senator, Gloria Romero (D.-Los Angeles) has called the present regime a "failure," particularly the parole system.
Despite California Gov. Arnold Schwartzeneggar's 2004 promises of major reforms of the parole system, which would lead to significant prisoner population reductions, the incarceration rate has soared. Today, there are a record 168,000 people in 33 state prisons, nearly double the rated capacity.
As Hugo Pinell seeks parole, California is spending $7.9 billion -- (yeah--with a 'b'!) in the next fiscal year, an increase of $600 million a year for a prison system that has one of the worst recidivism rates in the nation (60%!).

the picture showing the strcutral damage of WTC 7... the one from the NIST preliminarty report. does anyone know where this picture was taken from? i would have to assume that it was taken from a helicopter. so do we have other photos from this camera and do we have video (like 9/11 eyewiteness) of the helicopter that took this pic?

For those who missed, listen to it, its (1:49) into the show. The caller name is Sofia. Although I still find that hard to believe, is way too danger. Perhaps the caller was trying to debunk the CD theory in a different angle. Nevertheless, it might be something that could be look into.

On a forum somewhere about 9/11 this guy who says he worked in the WTC towers, says that it was a well known fact that the buildings had built-in explosives to control detonate the towers in case of a disaster to prevent it from toppling over. According to him it was part of the design.
He goes further on to say that it is no secret, that it is relatively normal for high rise buildings to have built-in explosives so it can be demolished in a controlled way after an earthquake or something of the like. According to him the reason the explosives went off is simple because the buildings started to collapse.
I'm having a hard time believing this. I can't believe this is legal and who in the hell would want to work in such a building??
Besides if this was the case, why doesn't FEMA, NIST or the 9/11 commission admit to this if it is so normal for high rise buildings to have built-in explosives? On top of that WTC 5 and WTC 6 had more damage than WTC 7 but yet remained standing.

The problem is if they admit that WTC 1 & 2 were brought down by inbuilt explosives then everybody will immediately start asking why they brought WTC 7 down too (it will be obvious to everyone why that WTC 7 was also brought down by controlled demolition). It was much less damaged than other WTC buildings.
No, the establishment (see Popular Mechanics) is now far too committed into denying controlled demolition now, that they cannot switch explanations just like that. If they now admit it was controlled demolition after all these years there would be huge uproar. The whole facade would fall apart immediately revealing the dark truth that some government group managed the whole operation.

This is insanity. Would you go to work every day knowing there were explosives in the building? Puts a new slant on the no-smoking rule, doesn't it.
At what stage are newly qualified architects let in on the secret?
