Nafeez Mosaddeq AhmedDescription: Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed outlines the relationship between the West and radical Muslim groups like the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) in Algeria, and the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in Serbia. Mr. Ahmed says that these groups, parts of which are now affiliated with Al Qaeda, were used by the United States and Britain to further Western political and economic goals. He argues that a more complete investigation of this relationship is necessary to understand what happened on 9/11. Mr. Ahmed also talks about the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the 1996 British attempt to assassinate Libya's Muammar Gaddafi in this light. This talk, held at American University in Washington, DC, was organized by the DC Emergency Truth Convergence (www.truthemergency.us). Includes Q&A.

I have to marvel at how the corporate media, and the various government and quasi-government bodies that investigated or are investigating 9-11, have ignored curious things involving the Bush family.
The one that has me most stunned right now is the information dug up and actually published (in the Prince George's Journal of Prince George, MD) way back on Feb. 4, 2003, reporting that George Bush's obscure youngest brother Marvin was on the board of directors of a company called Securacom (now changed to Stratesec) that was responsible for providing "electronic security" to the World Trade Center right up to 9/11/2001.

July 22, 2005After the attacks of 9/11, I accepted the blowback thesis, according to which the attacks were payback for US foreign policy. About a year later, a colleague suggested that the attacks were orchestrated by our own government. My response was that I didn’t think the Bush administration---even the Bush administration---would do such a thing. A few months later, another colleague suggested that I look at a website containing the massive 9/11 timeline created by Paul Thompson. This timeline, I found, contained an enormous number of reports, all from mainstream sources, that contradicted the official account. This started a process that led me to publish The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11, which summarized much of the evidence that had been discovered by previous researchers---evidence, I concluded, that provided a "strong prima facie case for official complicity."

Upcoming ABC 9/11 Miniseries Focuses on John O'Neill
First 9/11 Miniseries Starts Filming
The project - which has never been formally announced by ABC and will air no sooner than January 2006 - stars Harvey Keitel as John O'Neill, the FBI agent who hunted Al Qaeda for years and was killed in the attacks while working as head of security for the World Trade Center.
..
It is the first big Hollywood project to deal with the attacks and is based on the best-selling "9/11 Commission Report", with former N.J. Governor and commission chairman Thomas Kean and other members of the panel serving as consultants.
Daniel Hopsicker Responds to Attacks and Releases New Video
Daniel Hopsicker was recently the focus of an article on 9/11 in Florida. I thought I had posted a link to the story, but I can't seem to find it off hand.
In any event, Hopsicker, author of 'Mohamed Atta & the Venice Flying Circus', has posted a retort to the recent article on him. He has also released a new 15 minute video entitled 'The Secret World of 9.11: Hijackers, Heaven's Gate & 'Republican, Inc.'.
