A plane hit a high-rise apartment building in NYC today. See this article. Fox is saying that people are trapped above the fire.
Hopefully, this is just an accident and not a false flag attack (Rove's "October Surprise"). But we must document it just in case the government tries to blame it on the country it wants to attack next.
Update: Fighter aircraft are being put in the air over several U.S. cities as a precautionary measure, NORAD tells CNN.

They were flying in restricted airspace, even though Fox News will try to make you think they weren't. Early details remain sketchy about a small aircraft hitting an apartment building on Manhattan's Upper East Side at 72nd Street and York Avenue, near Rockefeller Center and the United Nations building. Is this simply an accident, a staged terror attack or a government psy-op intended to invoke memories of 9/11 as the mid-term elections approach?
The fact that this area is controlled airspace and that no aircraft are allowed to fly into the area makes the crash of an aircraft very suspicious if that turns out to be the case. Visibility in New York for pilots is said to be eight miles at the moment.
Early reports that the crash involved a helicopter have now been dismissed.
News networks are reporting President Bush has ordered NORAD to defend the city. Whatever the nature of this incident, Bush is getting an opportunity to grandstand.
Previous examples where small planes have deliberately been flown into buildings have been played down by the U.S. government - including a Clinton-era incident where a Cessna was flown into the White House.
Will the apartment building collapse in its own footprint like the twin towers? We know that's what happens when planes hit buildings so we'll wait and see what transpires.

Where the hell did a plane go in there? I think I see a can of gas and a book of matches, but I would say doubt every aspect of this story until conclusive evidence is brought forth. Meaning MULTIPLE unrelated eyewitnesses, substantial plane wreckage, etc. In other words, everything we know to be consistent with a plane crash.
People should also call the NYPD and ask who is investigating--this stuff can't be allowed to happen without a microscope on everyone involved!

If they come out with it being a terrorist attack then they help to legitimize Alex Jones's analysis that a government-staged terrorist attack is quite possible within our current time-frame.
Also, even if the government does say that it was just an accident or some lone crazy, that doesn't mean that it wasn't actually a staged terrorist attack. The government has declared other obvious staged events as being either accidents or the work of some isolated nut.
Events like this have the effect of traumatizing the masses, since the psychological connection to the 9/11 attacks is already present (i.e., planes flying into buildings). Keep in mind the upcoming elections.
People should create a folder on their hard drives and save articles on this event. Things that don't seem important now may turn out to be extremely vital. Also, record TV segments covering this event, as often things come out across the TV news that get dropped and are never mentioned again.
Of course, it could be just an accident or some lone nut, but we should collect information in case it isn't.

With the tail number, and assuming a flight plan was filed, no need to guess. But if no flight plan, no tail number and if the plane was not squawking a transponder code (assigned by the ATC) then we have new questions . . . or a new spin going on here! FAA traffic control should be able to tell us departure time, destination, and even the pilot name, eventually.

A plane crashed into a building and the building is still standing? This does not make any sense. We learned from 9/11 that planes ALWAYS bring down buildings (as well as buildings a few blocks away that weren't hit by planes, i.e. WTC building #7). Hopefully, our gov't will respond properly by invading Iran and continuing to clamp down on our rights by conducting warrantless wire-taps, stealing private lands, banning books like "America Deceived" from Amazon, rigging elections and suspending habeas corpus. That seems like the only logical response.

It also turns out Lidle was severely sexually abused as a child, and only recently told anyone. He was apparently quite tearful recently, having revealed to close friends and teammates that he'd had frequent anal sex rendezvous' in the past year with the Yankee bat boy.
This could well explain a suicidal tendency and hence the crash.

What's the deal?
First accounts say that its a helicopter, second accounts (to my recollection) claim it was a twin-engine. Finally its now said that the plain was a single engine. That's an awful lot of BS/speculation or whatever.
I'd like to see some alternative media interviews of anyone who claims to have seen the plane coming in. CNN was running a story about some construction workers who claim they saw the plane before it hit. CNN also reported eyewitness accounts of the plane making a zigzag erratic path before hitting the building.
Sure... its probably an accident, but there are several troubling issues:
1) Weather was at first reported as clear with 8-mile visibility, then later reported as foggy - which is it?
2) If as has been reported there was a mayday from the plane - relating to fuel problems WTF did the pilot imagine heading into Manhattan would accomplish?
3) The passport thing. OK, this seems like a total fabrication. Simply an attempt to disarm those who've argued since 9/11 that there was no way a passport could have survived the collisions/destruction of WTC 1 or 2.
I'm not saying conspiracy here. I'm calling bullshit on the media. They appear to be inventing facts to explain what they do not know, and or aiding/reinforcing disinfo. Re: 9/11.

Lets see some alternative / indy media interviews from witnesses & lets ask for the name of the person who allegedly discovered the passport… where EXACTLY it was recovered, what its condition is, and when it was issued to Lidel.
Irrespective of outright accident or not, the MSM certainly has its agenda(s), and will use the uncertainty created by this incident to pump Bushco/Repug’s for November.

We're to believe that Lidel just happened to be flying with his passport. Why would this be. I mean, sure… he might’ve just had it with him, but why? Is a passport required ID for pilots? Was Lidel planning on flying his plane out of the continental US? Was he about to depart for a trip (after his flight), and was already packed? I recognize that as a pro ball player he might’ve traveled with the passport at all times, but for the average Joe, one does not carry such an important document without reason.
If this accident were a pre-meditated suicide, what possible need would there be for the passport? And wouldn’t there be signs from Lidel? …A depressed guy who was obsessed with tying loose ends… putting his life’s affairs in order before departing it?

Has anyone noticed that this crash - accident or not - is precisely what those "Cessna terrorists" of 9/11 were capable of, and no more?
