THE annals of American history had already reserved a place for William Rodriguez, but he was not content with a mere footnote.
The 43-year-old former New York janitor claims to have been the last man out of the north tower of the World Trade Centre before it imploded on September 11, 2001. Just moments before the tower's final destruction, Rodriguez assisted firemen and rescue crew in saving hundreds of lives. But for the Puerto Rican, the experience also marked the beginning of a life-changing journey - or, in his words, "a quest for the truth".
Rodriguez has become the poster boy for a movement currently sweeping the globe, which claims the official story of what happened on 9/11 - that four US airlines were hijacked by Osama bin Laden's terrorists to attack Western civilisation - is a pack of lies. These activists, who call themselves the 9/11 Truth Campaign, believe the real version of events has been hidden and are convinced that the worst terrorist attack on US soil was perpetrated to justify aggressive US foreign policy in the Middle East.
Partly because he was an eye-witness to the day's events, Rodriguez's testimony plays a key role in giving credence to the allegations of the 9/11 Truth campaign. In the past five years, he has, in effect, turned evangelist for this conspiracy movement, assuming celebrity status among supporters as he travels around the globe lecturing to millions on what he saw and heard on that fateful day.
With the 9/11 Truth Campaign, he insists that both towers were subject to a controlled explosion; and that, moments before the north tower was hit by a plane, he and colleagues heard an explosion underneath their office. This initial explosion was then followed by other bombs. This same version of events is peddled by Loose Change, a 90-minute internet movie made by three American men, which has been watched by an estimated 100 million viewers around the globe. The film, a blitz of statistics, photographs, eyewitness accounts and testimonies, argues that the fire in the towers was not hot enough to melt their steel frames and that they fell too quickly.
Regardless of whether you believe him, Rodriguez's voyage is an extraordinary one. Since 9/11, he has gone from being an establishment figure, taken into the bosom of the Republican party and even groomed for political office, to one who is now considered a maverick in these same quarters. Yet he remains committed to what he calls "a just and truthful cause".
"People say they don't believe in conspiracy theories, and I say neither do I. But I was there that day. I was an eyewitness," he says.
During his talks, he regales predominantly sympathetic audiences with his version of events, as well as tales of the trials he has faced since, including an attempted assassination in Venezuela where he was speaking on behalf of the 9/11 Truth Campaign.
"I turned up half an hour late for work on the morning of 9/11," he says. "Normally I started at 8am, and at 8.30am I would have been having breakfast with colleagues on the 106th floor. But that day I came in at 8.30am because I had phoned in earlier to say I was sick and wasn't coming in at all. My boss, however, asked me to come in because they had no-one to do my job."
Rodriguez, who had worked at the north tower for 20 years, had responsibility for the maintenance of the three stairwells within it: A, B and C. On a typical morning, he would finish breakfast and then begin at the top of the building and work his way down, ensuring everything was clean and in working order. Just before the first plane struck the tower at 8.46am, he was in an office with colleagues on the building's first sub-level when he says they heard "a massive explosion".
"The floor vibrated. We were all thrown upwards, then everyone in the office started screaming. Then we heard another noise, the impact of the plane. It was two different events, separated by a fraction of time. It was a miracle I was there and not in the restaurant," he says.
As only one of five people who held a master key, which opened doors to the stairwells, Rodriguez took it upon himself to begin opening the emergency exits so people could escape. "Nobody wanted to go back into the tower apart from me. I said, We've got to go back in and start saving these people'. So I started doing just that. I let firemen in and together we made our way up the tower's stairwells, opening the emergency exit doors," he says.
People say they don’t believe in conspiracy theories, and I say neither do I.
Before he did this, Rodriguez recalls, he rescued two people who were stuck in an elevator shaft. Regardless of the danger, he says, he was determined to continue. To this end, he went back into the tower three times after it had been struck and led a further 15 people to safety, one of whom was a paraplegic. He survived the building's collapse by seconds, finding refuge underneath a fire truck. After receiving medical attention for injuries, Rodriguez spent the remainder of the day as a volunteer in the rescue effort, and returned the following morning to help with the clean-up.
FOLLOWING the events of 9/11, Rodriguez was treated as a hero. "Every politician wanted to have their photo taken with me," he says. Among those were Hillary Clinton and President George W Bush. "The Republicans offered me funding to go to politics," he says. "They offered me thousands of dollars of campaign money. They were trying to get the Hispanic vote and saw me as a clear candidate to do that. I was part of the whole party machinery, until I started to ask questions."
Those "questions" primarily concerned how differently the official explanation of events compared with his own and with that of his friends. He is also highly critical of the 9/11 Commission, which started out, he insists, by accepting the official record of events and only included evidence which supported this. "Any contradictory evidence was destroyed or ignored, including testimonies of myself, firemen and others who were there at the time and heard explosions," he claims.
So instead of playing ball with the Republicans, Rodriguez established the Hispanic Victims Group, joined the 9/11 Truth Campaign and worked with the families of victims and injured survivors. He also spent hours testifying - "in secret", he says - in front of the official 9/11 Commission, although his testimony never made it into the report.
"We just wanted to know what happened that day. For me, it's been about the families from the beginning. The official story is simply not true and I'm not the only one who is saying it."
WHEN you consider Rodriguez's testimony, the fundamental question is not whether you believe the official story or not, but whether his version of events is convincing enough. It is beyond doubt that he and his supporters believe his recollection with fervent conviction. However, like so many conspiracy theories, the theory itself is let down by its proponents. During a recent lecture in Glasgow, Rodriguez appealed to the crowd to "examine the evidence". Yet the only evidence put forward in two hours of discussion was his own testimony - and it was clear he was out to convince our hearts as well as our minds. As he described the importance of being a master key holder, he pulled a key from his inside pocket like a magician revealing a vanished coin (incidentally, he used to be a magician before becoming a janitor). He wielded the key triumphantly as if showing us a vital piece of evidence. Of course, for all we knew it could have been the key to his drinks cabinet or front door. Nevertheless, the prop received its intended reaction - gasps of disbelief and wonder. But he had clouded the issue with unnecessary razzmatazz.
Likewise, when explaining how he was the only master key holder to have stayed in the building to aid the evacuation effort, his appeals of "Don't blame them. Don't judge them" seemed crass and insincere. As if we were not going to judge them while we were staring a living, breathing "hero" in the face.
To a seasoned conspiracy buff (and, let's face it, who doesn't love a conspiracy theory?) there was, disappointingly, a vague sense of familiarity about all the unusual behaviour - being late for work for the first time in 20 years; missing testimonies; and mysterious events on the 34th floor (Rodriguez claims he heard the sound of heavy equipment being moved around when he was rescuing workers from the 33rd floor, but this is interesting only because the 34th floor was supposed to be empty).
Yet, frankly, what conspiracy theory doesn't have such elements?

it fits a pattern of deception. One example would be

Because Mohamed Atta was a leading figure in their

This Atta died 4/30/04. According to the FBI, Mohammed
Atta was one variant used.

Great choice of verb: "peddled" -- like narcotics.
But, so far, wording like this (i.e., spin) hasn't stopped people from looking at the facts. Let's keep it up.

but narcotics sell themselves and such don't need peddling. peddling is for crap someone is trying to sell.
SO many hit pieces these days focusing on Loose Change, not mentioning Improbable Collapse, 9/11 Mysteries, or heck, even Press for Truth. This is probably in anticipation of the release in theatres of Loose Change.
I bet they are looking at Fahrenheit 9/11 in order to study how best to limit Loose Cha nge's effectiveness. I think that as awareness grows, we need to push as much non-loose change stuff as possible, to ensure that a trashing of Loose Chnage will not be equivalent to a trashing of the entire movement.
The more people see misrepresentation, the more they will understand that the truth is being hidden. If every hit piece takes shots at Loose Change (not to mention ridiculous fake theories like holograms) then people who see them will say "well, ok, but what's wrong with all these other works? how DID building 7 fall?"

Yes, these articles do show that we are making serious progress.
What I find interesting, is the dynamic of truth spreading, relative to these vain attempts to debunk, ridicule, or violently oppose.
The more they go after it, and work to debunk it, the more they aid the movement, and it's a truth MOVEMENT, not a "campaign" that's not what we call it.
They aint seen nuthin yet. Just wait for the release of Loose Change Final Cut, coming up in about two months from now. So far at least 90 theaters in the UK will be playing it.. ;-)
And when it takes off, that could go to 100's. So we've got Willy making the rounds there, the recent spread in the Daily Mail, and this upcoming BBC documentary, and who CARES if it's a bit of a hit piece. It'll get at least 10 million more people thinking about it, and perhaps looking into it some more.
We're getting full coverage in the UK, and that's just great.
P.S. I suspect that they might be doing multi-language voiceovers for LCFC, thus enabling consecutive theatrical release in every major Europian country, and their distributor has apparently EXCELLENT international representation. So yeah, they aint seen nuth'n yet!

If I'm not mistaken, 'campaign' is essentially the British equivalent for 'movement'--as in the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (or CND) of the late '50s and '60s (while in the U.S. they had the Ban the Bomb movement). I've noticed, too, when reading articles from the British press that 'campaigners' seems to be the term for what in the U.S. are referred to as 'activists'.

William Rodriguez, who was working as a caretaker in the tower when terrorists flew planes into the buildings, visited Abertay University's students' centre last night for a question-and-answer session.
Mr Rodriguez, 45, was the only person in the tower to hold a master key for its stairwells, and he led firefighters through the smouldering building, unlocking doors on the way and helping to save dozens of lives.
He also single-handedly saved 15 people by returning to the tower three times.
He is believed to be the last person to exit the North Tower alive, surviving the building's collapse by diving beneath a fire truck.
Mr Rodriguez was buried under rubble but was pulled out several hours later when rescuers heard his cries.
He became a national hero as a result of his efforts, but when he tried to get the authorities to listen to his claim that he heard a bomb explode in the basement of the North Tower before the plane struck it, he became embroiled in controversy.
Mr Rodriguez has since dedicated his time to speaking about his experiences and helping families of victims get compensation.

To Millions of people, he is a hero who saved countless lives when terrorists hijacked two planes and flew them into the twin towers of the World Trade Centre in New York.
William Rodriguez was commended five times by the White House and declared a national hero in his native Puerto Rico after he rescued 15 people single-handedly and helped hundreds more to flee the burning buildings.
But, since the atrocity on September 11, 2001, Mr Rodriguez has been a thorn in the side of the US government.
Concerned the attacks were being used by them to justify wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, he was a driving force in demanding a formal investigation, which resulted in the 9/11 Commission.
However, the commission merely fuelled a growing conspiracy movement after his evidence, unlike the testimonies of other witnesses, was heard behind closed doors and withheld from the public.
Tomorrow, Mr Rodriguez comes to Hull as part of a speaking tour of Britain and Ireland to give the views the American public were denied the chance to hear during the commission.
He says: "Besides grieving and coping with the trauma of a tragedy if you're a survivor, you have the difficult, frustrating job of trying to get help and answers from authorities.
"The September 11 families had to wrestle with that. We had to learn how to demand accountability."
Martin Deane of Hull Peace Network, who organised the event, said: "He is now a principle speaker for the 9/11 truth movement in the US.
"An awful lot of his story has never reached the public and this is what the tour is about."
Mr Rodriguez and 20 other survivors insist they heard an explosion at the bottom of the World Trade Centre seconds before the first plane hit the top.
He claims the FBI ignored evidence he spotted one of the hijackers checking out the towers months before the attack.
In the 1980s, Mr Rodriguez emigrated to the US in search of a better life, landing the job of maintenance worker at the twin towers.
For almost 20 years, he worked through the ranks to become a senior janitor.
After the first plane hit the North Tower on September 11, Mr Rodriguez rescued 15 people from the building.
The only person on the site with a master key for the North Tower stairwells, he led firefighters into the building, unlocking doors as they went so hundreds of people could escape.
Despite the danger to his life, he re-entered the towers three times and is believed to have been the last person to make it out alive before the building collapsed.
As the building fell, he dived underneath a fire engine, where he was buried under a mountain of rubble for hours.
Once free and after medical attention for his injuries, Mr Rodriguez spent the rest of the day volunteering in the rescue effort.
At dawn the next day, he was back at Ground Zero to continue the rescue work.
He lost his job in the wake of the attack, even becoming homeless at one point, and has devoted his life to helping others whose lives were affected by the atrocity.
He was one of the main campaigners for a formal investigation, which became the 9/11 Commission.
His evidence was taken behind closed doors, unlike other witnesses, and it was omitted from the final report.
As part of his campaign for the truth, Mr Rodriguez has given talks in cities including Manchester, London, Cork. Dublin, Glasgow and Birmingham.
Among those who challenge the official account of the events surrounding September 11 are journalist John Pilger, former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter and former 9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland.
Annie Machon of the British 9/11 Truth Campaign is accompanying Mr Rodriguez on the tour.
Ms Machon, who is the girlfriend of renegade former M15 officer David Shaylor, said: "This is an amazing human story of survival in the first place.
"However, his evidence directly contradicts the official version.
"The events of 9/11 are still relevant because it was used as the pretext to illegally invade Iraq and it continues to erode our right to personal freedom in this country to this day.
"It is vital people look at this with open eyes and hear what he has to say."
She said the tour had gone "phenomenally well" with standing room only at the events in most cities.
She said: "There is a lot of awareness and also a lot of anger still present today that our Government hasn't listened to the concerns of people."
Mr Rodriguez will deliver his talk at the Friends Meeting House in Percy Street, city centre, at 7.30pm tomorrow.

But William didn't just try to save his own skin; as the only key holder for the North Tower stairwell where he was working, he unlocked doors and helped firefighters to rescue hundreds of people.
William was also the last survivor to leave the building. He spent the rest of 9/11 helping out as a volunteer in the rescue efforts, and at dawn the following morning, was back at Ground Zero continuing his efforts.
After 9/11 William lost his job and has worked ever since to help others who were affected by the atrocities.
In February William is coming to Lancaster to tell his side of the story; a story the US Government would not let him tell in full.
William, a native of Puerto Rico, a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of New Jersey, was employed as a maintenance worker at the 110-storey World Trade Center building for 19 years.
Arriving at 8.30am on the morning of 9/11, he went to the maintenance office located on the first sub-level, one of six sub-basements beneath ground level.
Fourteen people were in the office at that time. As he was talking with others, he says there was an incredibly loud and powerful explosion which seemed to emanate from between sub-basement B2 and B3.
There were 22 people on B2 sub-basement who also felt and heard that first explosion.
At first William thought it was a generator that had exploded, but the cement walls in the office cracked from the explosion.
"When I heard the sound of the explosion, the floor beneath my feet vibrated, the walls started cracking and everything started shaking," said William, who was crowded together in the office with 14 other people, including Anthony Saltamachia, supervisor for the American Maintenance Company.
Just seconds later he says there was another explosion high above which made the building oscillate momentarily. This, he was later told, was a plane hitting the 90th floor.
Then he says there were other explosions just above B1 and individuals started heading for the loading dock to escape the fires caused by the blasts.
Unlocking doors for the firefighters as he went, William got to the 39th floor before he was turned back by the firefighters. As he began his descent he heard a plane hit the south tower.
Down at ground level he saw the mangled and bloodied bodies of people who had jumped. William says he will never forget the anguish that hit him, or the sight of the senseless carnage.
The Twin Towers were the only known steel frame buildings in history claimed to have failed because of fire. Other steel frame buildings have been known to burn for hours and hours and not collapse. The cause of the Twin Towers' failure is not known because the evidence was rendered unavailable for investigation.
Independent investigators said both towers suspiciously fell "like a house of cards," claiming that William probably heard pre-arranged detonated bomb blasts, strategically placed and timed to make it appear that the plane was the cause of the collapse.
After the trauma of losing many of his close friends and the sheer horror of the events of 9/11, William looked forward to his appearance at a closed-door hearing of the 9/11 Commission.
But he started changing his opinion as he saw how the commission worked, and also when the American media edited out his testimonies about hearing bomb blasts in the buildings, whilst the Spanish media reported his claims unedited.
William was one of the last people to testify to the commission and spoke behind closed doors, unlike other witnesses. His testimony was not included in the final report He said the commission didn't answer his questions and avoided the issues he was presenting. When the administration started to link the 9/11 attacks with the preparations of the 2003 Iraq war, he said he felt "manipulated and used".
He also sought out the National Institutes of Technology, which was investigating the collapse of the WTC, but was sent packing. And the FBI was not interested in his claim that he'd met one of the hijackers 'casing' the buildings several months before 9/11.
In October 2004, William filed a civil lawsuit directed against George W Bush, Richard B Cheney, Donald H Rumsfeld and others, including a total of 100 defendants, together with Ellen Mariani and lawyer Phil Berg.
The RICO Act is normally used by the US government to nail organised crime as a conspiracy, but this time it was used against the government itself, claiming a conspiracy on its part.
The government filed a motion to dismiss, or at least transfer, the case on grounds of national security. Berg answered by filing an affidavit that alleged the defendants "had knowledge that the attacks were impending... but they failed to (take countermeasures), not by reason of mere negligence, confusion, or ineptitude, but because they affirmatively desired such attacks to occur." William said: "I have tried to tell my story to everybody, but nobody wants to listen. It is very strange what is going on here in supposedly the most democratic country in the world. In my home country of Puerto Rico and all the other Latin American countries, I have been allowed to tell my story uncensored. But here, I can't even say a word." William Rodriguez will be speaking at the Hugh Pollard Lecture Theatre on St Martin's College Campus off Bowerham Road, at 7pm on Thursday, February 8. Exeter has been chosen as the starting point for a European tour by the last survivor to come out of the Twin Towers alive on 9/11.
William Rodriguez, a janitor in the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York, was a hero on the day and saved many lives. He has been honoured five times at the White House and is leader of several Twin Towers victims' support groups.
Mr Rodriguez is due to visit Exeter Cathedral at 1pm on Saturday, February 3, to talk about his experiences on September 11, 2001, and also his claims that there has been a conspiracy to cover up what actually happened on the day, when the two aircraft were flown into the towers.
He has questioned the official report on the disaster, suggesting explosions were heard in the complex before it was struck by the first of the two passenger jets. He argues that it was an "inside job" to justify the subsequent "war on terror" and restrictions to civil liberties.
On 9/11, Mr Rodriguez single-handedly rescued 15 people from the World Trade Center, and, as the only person at the site with the master key to the North Tower stairwells, he bravely led firefighters up a stairwell, unlocking doors as they ascended, thereby aiding in the successful evacuation of unknown hundreds of those who survived. He re-entered the towers three times after the first, North Tower impact at about 8.46am, and is believed to have been the last person to exit the North Tower alive, subsequently surviving the building's collapse by diving beneath a fire truck.
After receiving medical attention at the site for his injuries, he spent the rest of 9/11 aiding as a volunteer in the rescue efforts, and at dawn the following morning, he was back at Ground Zero continuing his heroic efforts.
Deeply affected by his experiences of 9/11, Mr Rodriguez has, in a variety of capacities and through several different organisations, worked ever since that terrible day to help others who were affected by the atrocity.
He has continued in these efforts notwithstanding the fact that, due to the loss of his employment, he has been unable to earn a living and was even left homeless for a time.
Event organiser Dr Stephen Hopwood said: "We are delighted and honoured that Mr Rodriguez is to travel from New York to meet and talk with the people of Exeter. We hope we can repay him with a huge turnout."
Those attending are being asked to make a voluntary donation and the proceeds from the event are to be given to 45-year-old Mr Rodriguez.

The last survivor to leave the World Trade Centre alive on 9/11 is to visit Plymouth.

Tickets are £5 on the door only, with concessions available.

A Hero of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington will be visiting Bristol to talk about the events of that day and how they have changed the world.
As the World Trade Centre in New York came under attack on September 11, 2001, caretaker William Rodriguez bravely remained in the North Tower to help save dozens of lives.
He was the last man out as the tower was collapsing and was one of many heroes that day who put their own safety ahead of others.
He has since been honoured five times by the President of the United States, George W Bush, for outstanding courage.
After the 9/11 attacks, which killed more than 3,000 people in New York, William helped co-ordinate the efforts of survivors' and victims' families to lobby the US government to hold an inquiry into what happened that day.
When he came to give evidence, he was one of the only witnesses the 9/11 Commission heard behind closed doors.
However, none of his testimony - nor that of several other eye witnesses - was included in the Commission's final report, published in July 2004.
Since 2005, William has been pursuing a legal action against President Bush and other members of the US administration based upon alleged prior knowledge of 9/11 under the RICO Act, legislation designed to deal with organised crime.
William now leads two 9/11 campaigns representing the interests of survivors, victims and relatives of the dead: the Victims' Support Group and the Hispanic Victims' Group.
As part of his UK tour William will be visiting the IMAX Cinema, @Bristol, on February 5 to tell his story, recounting why he ran into the buildings while others were running out.
He will also explain why he believes survivors and victims' families are unhappy about the way 9/11 is being used to justify the War on Terror.
Further information and William's DVD will be available on the night.
Christina Zaba, Chair of Bristol NUJ will introduce William and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Proceeds from the event are being given to William to support his campaigning.

Decorated survivor William Rodriguez, who worked as a janitor in the North Tower, was the last person to leave the burning building after an plane smashed into it on September 11, 2001.
Mr Rodriguez, the only person at the site with the master key to the North Tower stairwells, is credited with personally saving 15 people on the day.
He bravely led firefighters up the stairs, unlocking doors as they climbed and helping hundreds of survivors.
He also re-entered the building three times after the first impact, and only survived the final devastating collapse by diving beneath a fire truck.
Mr Rodriguez, 43, has since been honoured five times at the White House and has become leader of several Twin Towers' victim's support groups.
He will be visiting Birmingham on Saturday February 17, as part of an international tour.
Mr Rodriguez will talk at the Carrs Lane Church Centre, in Carrs Lane, Birmingham city centre, from 2pm to talk about his experience on 9/11, and also about what he has been campaigning for since that day.
Residents will have a unique opportunity to hear his story and ask questions.
That will be followed in the evening by a second event, to be held at the Upstairs@Zen Shop, The Waters Edge, Brindley Place, starting at 7.30pm.

If janitor William Rodriguez had been on time for work on September 11, 2001, he wouldn't be alive today.
Ordinarily at 8.46am - the time the first hijacked airliner hit the World Trade Center - he would have been having breakfast in the staff kitchen 106 storeys up.
But he had overslept, and had got no further than the basement of the North Tower when he felt a massive impact rock the building.
William, 45, helped save the lives of dozens of people on that catastrophic day. His experiences have seen him honoured five times at the White House, and he has devoted his life to supporting survivors and victims' families.
He is also a key figure in the worldwide 9/11 Truth Campaign, which alleges that there are unanswered questions about the day's events and is demanding a further public inquiry.
William will be speaking at the University of Plymouth Students' Union on February 18 as part of an international tour to raise awareness of the campaign.
William, a janitor at the World Trade Center for 20 years, said: "I woke up late that day. I never did that. I made it in about 8.30am and was talking to my supervisor.
"We heard, 'Boom'. It was so hard it pushed us off the floor. I thought something had happened in the basements below.
"Everybody was screaming and then we heard 'Bam', all the way up at the top of the building. The walls cracked, the false ceiling fell on us and the sprinklers activated."
Carrying severely burned co-worker Felipe David on his back, William led 14 other people to safety via the basement, then turned to go back inside. "I looked up and saw the hole: the fire, the smoke," he said.
"I went back in because I wanted to help my friends who would have been in the restaurant, Windows on the World."
William was to run back into the North Tower twice to rescue people trapped inside, leading firefighters up the staircase and unlocking doors with his access key, enabling dozens more people to escape.
He said: "I had a whole sense of compassion and a sense of, 'My God; these people are suffering.' I made a desperate effort to get the most people out in the least amount of time."
He had reached the 39th floor when the impact of the second aircraft hitting the South Tower knocked him off his feet. He got back up and carried on. When the South Tower collapsed, William remained where he was, helping others. Then, at 10.28am, he went into the street, seeking an ambulance for a man in a wheelchair - and the North Tower fell.
"Everything started trembling and the police were screaming, 'Run! Run! Run! Run!' from the other side of the road," William said.
"The only thing I saw was a fire truck - about 15 feet away - and I leapt under it. I was buried alive, but I didn't die. I had a sense of death you can't even imagine."
He was dug out four and a half hours later, and is believed to be the last person not with the emergency services to leave the Twin Towers alive. For the next two days he helped with the rescue effort and has since worked tirelessly to support victims of 9/11, leading support groups, fundraising and campaigning.
He believes the official 9/11 Commission report does not fit with his experiences of the day and is campaigning - with hundreds of others - for nagging questions to be addressed, such as why he heard explosions in the basement before the North Tower was struck.
William will be at the university Students' Union on Sunday, February 18, from 7.30pm. The talk will be introduced by MI5 whistleblower David Shayler.

Today The Globe and Mail, Canada's paper of record, reported that Mohamed el-Attar " told Egyptian interrogators that he recruited several new agents while living in Canada, targeting gays and those he knew were in financial trouble within Arab communities.
The alleged scheme was to find Canadians to help him spy for Israel's intellegence service, the Mossad."
While Canada says he was most likely tortured and Israel denies involvement, this story contains strange similarities to the tale of the 9/11 "hijackers" .

The planes impacted the buildings with tremendous force and damaged the structure. The crashes forced debris and jet fuel down the elevator shafts. The fire ball explosions came right out of the elevator shafts, the elevator doors were blown open. People in the the lower/sub-basements levels could smell the jet fuel which smelled like kerosene.

Jet grade kerosene is capable of melting steel & disintegrating concrete... Gives me a laugh every time.

This should warn us not to use Coleman lanterns, or kerosine stoves. Once lit, they will evidently melt.
Also, if you run out of firewood, just pour kerosine on any old metal you have around, and light it.

- were there oil tanks or any other fuel storage, that if broken, could have explained the smell?
-and the author overlooked the fact the people weren't blown up because they were far enough away from/ sheilded from the primary explosions or fire.
-and the suddeness of the burn injuires argue FOR a sudden immediate heat source--even perhaps an explosion that destroyed/ignited fuel storage.
I just don't see people being flash burned from jet fuel, dozens of stories below, when most of the fuel ignited on impact.

We understand that there are people in the BBC who want the truth to come out and other ones that don't. We understand that the main person backing the "whitewash" version is Mr Garth Ancier.

Of course, as you will realise, this calls into question the standards of professionalism, journalism, honesty and integrity which seem to be at work in the BBC. We KNOW 9/11 was an inside job, and however many times David Icke or "No Planes" is mentioned in relation to it, it will not detract from the smoking guns which more and more people have now seen and understand.
We therefore strongly advise that the "honest" version is broadcast on Sunday, because if it is not, the BBC's reputation as a news broadcasting entity will be forever tarnished or destroyed. Clearly, we must also call into question the motives of an executive who can (or is trying to) influence what is to be broadcast, and this matter will need serious review also.
As you may know, William Rodriguez, Decorated hero and survivor of the World Trade Centre Disaster, is speaking around the UK. His testimony blows apart the official story of 9/11 and this will likely have been heard and read by 10s or 100s of thousands of people by the end of this month.
So, we know what the game is, and we are now "calling your bluff". We are watching you and waiting for your response.
