Why Do 911 Truthers Hate Michael Moore?

Most people are familiar with Academy Award winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore. His name has become synonymous with far-left Liberals throughout the United States. His films (most notably Fahrenheit 9\11) have drawn harsh criticisms, mostly from right-wing conservatives, for their extreme “leftist” views. Although his films are usually backed up completely with documented facts, Moore has routinely been vilified and trashed by the talking heads in the mainstream media.

However, in recent years, it seems many involved in the subculture known as the 911 Truth Movement have also begun to vilify Michael Moore. But why?

In order to completely understand the animosity between truthers and the Liberal supporters of Michael Moore, one must understand the head-butting that frequently occurs between these two groups.

911 Truthers, such as myself, believe that, in one way or another, the terrorist attacks on September 11th were committed and\or supported by certain elements within the United States government. These beliefs stem from years of research, leading to the discovery of mounds of evidence to support these claims. Of course, these facts have largely been ignored and\or vilified by the mainstream media. One of the fundamental problems is the mainstream continues to view 911 Truth as a “left” issue. But is 911 Truth REALLY a “left” issue? Of course that depends on who you ask.

In the film “Fahrenheit 9\11”, Michael Moore attempted to expose the disturbing parallels between, for instance, the Bush Administration and the Bin Laden family. Moore also revealed many of the lies involving the election of Bush in 2000, the Iraq War, the war in Afghanistan, the War on Terror, and the Patriot Act. The film not only won Moore an Oscar for Best Documentary, it also forced tens of millions of Americans to re-examine their political leaders, their overall government, and especially their President.

Most Liberals, who wholeheartedly support Moore, grabbed these facts and ran with them. Moore soon became an icon for the left. However, despite the mounds of evidence that support the 911 Truth Movement, most Liberals refuse to believe that 911 was an inside job.

Moore has received heavy criticisms for not touching any of the alternative “theories” on which the 911 Truth Movement is based. Indeed, he failed to cover the strange explosions heard coming from the towers prior to their subsequent collapses, along with the strange collapses of the towers at freefall speed, Larry Silverstein giving the order to “pull it”, the lack of wreckage at the Pentagon and the field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, just to name a few. Some truthers have even gone as far as accusing Moore of being a “government operative”, a “deflector of the truth”, and a “dis-informer”.

It is no secret that Moore made millions with Fahrenheit 9\11. It is also no secret that Moore is an eccentric, outspoken voice for the Liberals. However, there is no denying that Moore planted the seeds in many people’s minds as to the corruption involving the Bush Administration. It is because of Fahrenheit 9\11 that many began to realize what the Administration was really capable of – specifically acts of Treason.

Many who were first involved in exposing 911 Truth, including Alex Jones, are Constitutionalists\Libertarians. For the most part, they cannot stand Liberalism. In other words, these folks do not want the federal government to have any involvement in citizens’ lives (i.e. government-sponsored special programs). They feel that any sort of government involvement will lead inevitably to “New World Order” and “Police State enslavement” consequences.

Despite the differences between 911 truthers and liberals\Michael Moore supporters, one thing they can all agree on is that the Bush Administration is indeed corrupt and has been involved in numerous crimes against, not only its own citizens, but also interests abroad. Perhaps these two groups will one day come to a head and resolve their differences so that something can be done to punish President Bush and all involved in this massive cover-up. Perhaps Michael Moore’s sequel to “Fahrenheit 9\11”, “Fahrenheit 9\11 and a half” will expose some evidence what really happened on 911. I mean, how do we know that Michael Moore isn’t already a truther? He did appear on a radio show a year or two ago, stating that he does not believe the government’s story as to what hit the Pentagon. Perhaps the mainstream media will cease to refer to 911 as a “left” issue, leading to the destruction of the belief in that false paradigm.

Whatever happens, in the end, it is imperative that the facts regarding the 911 cover-up are soon brought into the general populace.

I'm with ya man

The reason I can talk to people about 9/11 at all is because Moore, Rosie and Sheen talked about it first. Now many times, other people bring it up with me.

I don't like that most people need the permission of an authority figure (celebrity) before they can use their own minds, but that's what was drilled inot our heads in the scool system. So it is easy to understand.

I hope Alex Jones knows he can live with an honest liberal. And honest liberals can live with and learn a lot from an honest Libertarian. But none of us will live with a sneaky fascist in the white House.

Justice deferred is justice denied-MLK

Michael Moore is on the side of the people

I appreciate what he had done do far.

Let us all do all that we can.

Peace.

I can't trust Moore until he stops gatekeeping 9/11 truth! His

movie “Fahrenheit 9\11” claimed that Bush Chimp sat like a statue in the schoolhouse because no one told him what to do. This supported the incompetence theory 100%--and we know that 9/11 wasn't due to Bush's incompetence!

Moreover, I assume Moore bought the rights to that clip of the Chimp in school. Why did Moore sit on such crucial evidence until 2004, and then spin it as Chimp merely being stupid???

Michael Moore IS a truther

Millions saw F911 years ago and thanks to that they started digging.
and he is right about Dubya :

I don't hate him.

I love his documentaries.

What a great asset he would be for the truth movement.

Agree

I saw F911 only last week for the first time, and I thought it was an extremely well made and well researched documentary. His stance appears to be anti-war and to reveal government corruption. Just because he didn't accuse Bush of directly orchestrating events on 9/11, does not mean he is not a truther, and let's face it, it is possible that Bush is so dumb that he didn't know some neo-cons in his administration were doing all the plotting on his behalf without his knowledge.

Michael Moore is the lifeguard that drowns you.

What I see is someone who is exclusively trying to promote the democratic agenda and make money for himself at the expense of truth. If he perceives that 9/11 truth hurts the democrat's chances or his own viewership of people desperate to believe it was incompetence, he won't have anything to do with it.

Get Cynthia McKinney on his next film and we'll talk, but I trust this guy about as far as I can throw him.

Michael Moore really let me down...

I was very disappointed with F9/11 when it first came out. Primarily because it was apparent to me that Moore went out of his way to support the so-called "incompetence theory".

After watching F9/11 again recently, I was infuriated with Moore primarily because I know so much more now, that I didn't know then. Thus, Moore's film appeared even More damaging to the Truth Movement for what it did not discuss... especially WTC 7!!!

Are we to believe that Moore, being the highly competent, dare say BRILLIANT documentary movie director was UNAWHERE of WTC7? Bullshit! I was aware of WTC 7 back when F9/11 came out, so Moore had to be!

Why would he leave WTC 7 untouched in his FILM? His exposure of WTC 7 back then would have been enough IMHO to bring Bush down! Why did he choose to ignore WTC 7?

I think Moore owes the 9/11 Truth Movement an answer to this basic question re: WTC 7. What did he know and when did he know it?

The success of F911 in theaters

will ensure the success of Loose Change FC when it hits theaters. People want to see 9/11 related films.

Keep in mind that 90% of theaters

are controlled by The Carlyle Group.

Do you think that Loose Change FC is going to be seen in more than the 10% that are independent?

Isn't corporate consolidation grand?

BTW - It was the phenomenon of F9/11 that prompted Carlyle to buy up all the theaters, so something like that would never happen again.

We have to be the media. We have to do it ALL ourselves, no one is going to do it for us.

We are going to win, brothers and sisters, one day and one person at a time.

Let's get busy.

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

MM is not a "9/11 Truther"

Afaik, but he is a "Truther".

And, although he might be a died-in-the-wool "liberal", what he is really most interested in is America and Truth for truth's sake. (because it's the right thing — whether he succeeds or fails and to what level and degree of each is simple human-based reality, to which we, each of us, are no different)

Part of the problem as I see it is that RepCons view Truth as a liberal and lefty thing. I think that is becoming more and more evident as time goes by. And that is especially true if it is a truth that they do not like and conflicts with their agenda.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that MM will eventually come around to, embrace, and support the "9/11 Truth and Justice Movement". It is inevitable. I thought he would be here by now, but, each in his and her own time.

Maybe he already has embraced 9/11 Truth. I'm hoping that that will be what his "F911 1/2" documentary will be about.

Some people point to his off-the-cuff, obviously meant as humor, comment, "That would be treason" when asked by Alex Jones about why he doesn't question the government's complicity in 9/11 (paraphrased) as suggesting some evil, "left gatekeeper", horrific failing on MM's part. However, you can tell by the humor in his voice that it wasn't a serious response. Plus it was asked and replied to quickly as MM was walking by, as well.

At some point in the future, MM will make a 9/11 Truth and Justice documentary, and it will be the best of all of them.
