I get lots of email from people who want me to post articles that are not directly related to 9/11. A lot of these emails are quite valid, and important, but I do not feel they should be a part of this site's articles. I do however think having open threads for these issues is very valid.
Feel free to post information and links related to what you think is important now, no matter how it might, or might not, be tied to 9/11.

They Are Not “Conspiracy Theories†- They Are, in Fact, “Discoveriesâ€
There seems to be no set criteria for dismissing information as a foolish conspiracy theory. The only prerequisite for information to be so categorize seems to be the desire to reject it. The reason for the rejection does not seem to matter. It appears that anything people do not want to believe is simply set aside as not believable.

It's time to put an end to this nonsense once and for all. It's also time dispense with the name calling and understand the dynamics of what is happening when new information is rejected. We have to deal with the resistance to any tampering with accepted "truths." And we have to find ways to convince people to seriously consider the new information, new discoveries if you will - that so many refuse, under any circumstances, to acknowledge.
McKinney 9/11 Congressional Hearing Highlights - Video Download
Just got a copy of the video posted last night in WMV format without the freezing problem. I am in contact with a few people from INN to try to get a copy to host of the whole hearing, however they are afraid they may not be able to get it ready for a few weeks.

Video Highlights of Congressional Hearing on 9/11 Posted
Just noticed that innworldreport.net has posted their latest show. It contains a segment on the 9/11 Congressional Briefing - The 9/11 Commission Report One Year Later.

This is just a highlight video, not the whole thing.

Truth Emergency - Updates from the Ground
Just got word from Jonathan Gold on the events going on today in D.C. as part of the D.C. Emergency Truth Convergence.
He said he was given a free copy of David Ray Griffin's The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions And Distortions signed by Griffin, Ray McGovern, and Paul Thompson.
He said the events in D.C. were going very well and that there were tons of presenters presenting today. He also gave word that there would be a march today from the New York Times office to the U.N. this afternoon.

Washington - Revisiting the issue that helped spur her ouster from Congress three years ago, Rep. Cynthia McÂÂKinney led a Capitol Hill hearing Friday on whether the Bush administration was involved in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
The eight-hour hearing, timed to mark the first anniversary of the release of the Sept. 11 commission's report on the attacks, drew dozens of contrarians and conspiracy theorists who suggest President Bush purposely ignored warnings or may even have had a hand in the attack - claims participants said the commission ignored.
