Fox suggests Rosie fired over 'leaked' video of 9/11 talk

Fox news came out today with the rumor that Rosie O'Donnell was fired because she mentioned my story to a live audience of "The View" that was recorded by a spectator and posted on the Internet. The absurdity of their comments and their lack of investigative skills to even research that what she was talking about, makes Fox look like always, a far right demagogic network with no desire to look on the real evidence of 9/11. They finished by attacking the messenger like always.
Rosie did not get fired by mentioning me. I canceled the appearance before Rosie decided to quit, due to my many efforts in Washington and nationwide. Look on Rosie's blog today ( HTTP://www.rosie.com/blog/sections/ask-ro/ ) and she also address the rumors:cj writes:

"Is this the real reason?" Fox News asked Tuesday why Rosie O'Donnell is no longer on The View, before playing a YouTube video of O'Donnell warming up her audience by "ranting" about suspicious events she says were omitted from the 9/11 Commission Report.
Most accounts have stated that O'Donnell's departure was due to an on-air fight over Iraq with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
The Fox hosts speculate that the video might have come from an audience member's cellphone, and then comment briefly on how "people go off on this topic when Rosie talks about World Trade Center Building Number 7," before cutting to a story about a giant lizard.
The video was also posted at the Screw Loose Change blog, which characterized O'Donnell as "raving about WTC 7 being omitted from the 9-11 Commission Report," adding "like the 9-11 Commission was concerned about a building in which nobody died, which was not a direct target of the attacks."
Loose Change is an internet documentary which has received widespread press coverage over the last couple of years. Although many "9/11 truth" movement activists have criticized prior edits of the documentary, including a since-removed section which claimed video "proof" that the World Trade Center had been blown up, billionaire Mark Cuban is planning to finance a theatrical release, after its latest edit, with actor Charlie Sheen possibly providing narration.
"And anyway, the notion that the 9-11 Commission Report (PDF file) does not mention WTC 7 is wrong," Pat at "Screw Loose Change" writes, before citing four references to it, including page numbers.
However, none of these selections refer to the destruction of WTC 7, which has perplexed many scientists, government investigators and architects over the years.
"Never in the history of the world has a building fallen from a fire into its own footprint eliminating the core, twenty-five steel beams," O'Donnell said during the 'warm-up.' "Physics-wise," O'Donnell called such an occurrence "impossible."
Reporting for New York Magazine last November, Mark Jacobson noted that, along with the 9/11 Commission Report, the WTC 7 was also "given much shrift in the subsequent 'Final Report on the Collapse of World Trade Center Towers,' compiled by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)."
Dr. S. Shyam Sunder, head of NIST, told Jacobson that they had "preliminary hypotheses" regarding WTC 7, and "are studying the horizontal movement east to west, internal to the structure, on the fifth to seventh floors."
"But truthfully, I don’t really know," Sunder admitted. "We’ve had trouble getting a handle on building No. 7."
Sunder told Jacobson that the building's omission from their report was only "a matter of staffing and budget," and that they "hoped to release something on 7 WTC by the end of the year." However, no NIST explanation has been released, as of yet.

I notice this all the time...
example: on a debunker site I read that WTC7 collapsed from fire BECAUSE it had so many floors above the fire, that's why the smaller WTC buildings didn't collapse, less floors ! (haha)
This is so silly, one of the twin towers once sufferd a fire on the 15th floor or so which spread over several floors, according to this "theory" it HAD to collapse then !

Your post isn't deleted. I figured out that you need to click on the word Hidden and it is there. I don't understand why but I've seen it before.

Look at the numerical rating of each post. Those which fall below your "desirability" threshhold are hidden -- more specifically, "collapsed" (into their own footprint?). As you noticed already, they are viewable with 1 click if you choose to do that. The numerical rating derives from votes cast by users of this site. AFAIK each user gets exactly 1 vote, up or down; by default, neither is applied, so each user must choose to rate a post up or down if they want the composite rating to be adjusted. Each post thus starts off at zero and is only changed when someone votes on it. You'll find that the disinfo agents tend to make themselves known pretty quickly, and disinfo posts don't have much of a visibility shelf-life. ;-)

I think in the world of Fox News, attaching Rosie's situation at The View to her ideas about 9/11 is supposed to be damning. Of course, all this story really does is expose a few million more people to the anomaly of WTC7. I mean, how could this "leaked" video have anything to do with Rosie's situation, when she already talked about WTC7 DURING the show many weeks earlier?
Of course the connection is ludicrous, but thank you Fox News for continuing to air 9/11 Truth.

A short musing about pseudoscience, which I'm writing a school report on... so I'm looking for material all around the web before I start writing and navigated myself to the sceptic.com webpage. In there I find a review on Griffin's book, The New Pearl Harbor, and here's a quote from the reviewer:
"Griffin never explores that possibility that No. 7 was demolished because it had been contaminated by the white dust from the nearby North Tower. Explosives were used because, at 45 stories, No. 7 was too tall for a wrecking crane."
That's gotta be one of the dumbest reasons to demolish WTC7 I've heard so far...but atleast he says explosives we're used.

He fails to explain why the government would have waited nearly an hour to explode its bombs in the South Tower, which would have allowed many people to escape; the North Tower didn’t collapse for one and 3/4 hours, and nearly all of the WTC workers who died were in the impacted floors or above. Did Bush’s remote control have a low battery?
No, one would expect the government to minimize casualties to the amount necessary for the goal of terrorizing the country's populace. Less guilt, less compensation. Is this his best argument? The other reason for a delay is to make the collapse-due-to-steel-weakened-by-fire argument superficially plausible.
The dust argument for WTC 7 is just bizarre - it was so urgent that the building had to be demolished that day? Assuming it could even be done so quickly.

All of these so-called skeptical "arguments" are based on "how come's". They start with a completely tangential, hypothetical conclusion, then they work backwards ignoring the actual evidence.

Yes, she seems to be a 9/11 Truther, but she has never stated that our govt. was behind it.
She drinks beer on her blog. Hey, I love to drink but wtf! If she wants others to take her seriously, don't drink why you are purposely being recorded on your own blog!
Another thing, she makes $5M a year. She can hang it up today and live in comfy town for the rest of her life. Quite a bit different from 99.9 % of us here.
Too much accolades for Rosie in my opinion. Easy to be a truther when you don't have to worry about where your next paycheck is going to come from. Rosie, in her position with millions of dollars in the bank account, needs to put her money where her mouth is.
