How many of us here @ 911 Blogger are guilty right now of misprision of treason, seriously (that includes you too trolls)?!!!

I posted a blog entry yesterday about the strategic possibilities of treason trials ( Part of that entry was also a reminder that knowledge of treason, such as the 9-11 variety that we all know of comes with specific legal responsibilities in this country. One again, from wikipedia: "In the United States, misprision of treason is a federal offense, committed where someone who has knowledge of the commission of any treason against the United States, does not inform the President, a federal judge or state Governor or judge (18 U.S.C. § 2382). It is punishable by a fine and up to 7 years in prison."

Just as the definition of treason is very narrow in this country, the legal recourse is very specific also. Required actions do not include writing letters to the editor/media in general, doing street actions, commenting on youtube videos, talking to police officers, blogging, confronting congressmembers, going to conferences, writing books, passing out DVD's, signing petitions, etc., although I wholeheartedly edorse all of these actions and participate in many of them. The 9-11 Truth and JUSTICE movement speaks about holding people accountable to their actions. We have this crazy idea that the law of the land applies to every last individual human no matter how much power, prestige or money they might have. That includes us. We have awareness of a very high form of treason and thus we have an extra obligation to fulfill our constitutional duties. I have this feeling that we are way out of integrity right now around this. Plus, if done with proper implementation the strategical implications of this avenue are profound.

So, has anyone on the blogger put in an offical declaration of knowledge of treason? I'm sure somebody has. And if you have, please respond to this or to me about your experience and how you did it. But the fact that so few of us have actually followed the true guideline of the law in this scenario is striking. Of the three branches of government, the judiciary, although now very politically tainted in many ways, should be our clearest path to justice. However, as we have found, it is tricky, because the executive branch is, for all intents and purposes immune to direct criminal cases while they are still in there and the legislative is too scared ignorant to take the appropriate constitutional methods around impeachment.

That, in my mind, really leaves one possibility, one that, to me, makes the most sense in the first place, treason trials. Like I said, it is its own section (out of 3) in the founding father's outline of the Judicial branch. This should give us a sense of its weight. We need to put this in judges' and governors' hands, not DA's. To me, especially since a citizen is supposed to notify the President, the handling of knowledge of treason against the country is a direct relationship between the citizen and his/her government. This is a special section of law. This is not just a criminal or civil case, this goes to the root of the binding power of the constitution to help protect the citizens from attack and war from within. Does anyone feel me?

Why Does Treason Never Succeed?

Because when it succeeds, none dare call it treason.

That's the beauty, from an anti-democratic perspective, of this legal requirement to go to the authorities when one believes treason has taken place: if the treason has succeeded, the would-be whistleblower is actually just turning himself in and proclaiming himself as a radical enemy of the (newly-configured) state, a dangerous dissident, or a presumed "terrorist".

Let's see what happens when we visit Lord Governor Elliot "Just-Can't-Keep-My-Hands-Off-That-Irresistible-Silverstein" Spitzer to inform him, "Oh, remember when you were Attorney General, and after the biggest mass-murder in America's history, you didn't bring a single suit, against anybody, even for negligence or incompetence? Yeah, well, that was actually treason. Take care of it."

It would be different

If every governor in the country got a paper clearly outlining specific treasonous acts at the same time. plus judges. Plus, I think since we are attempting to save the constitution, we should all be in accord with it dont you think?

There's gotta be one honest judge in this land

In fact, there are many I am sure. We just need to test as many waters out as possible and add tension and pressure to the situation by coordinating it as a media campaign. I'll bet there are many judges that have never been presented the overwhelming array of evidence that this movement has produced over almost 6 years. They need to be, or we are failing in our duties to restore the power of the people.

Shills & trolls may also be guilty as accessories-after-the-fact

in trying to thwart a true investigation into mass murder and aiding in its cover-up!

I hope the basTards get charged

All of the trolls and deBUMkers and all the others. With misprision of treason, obstruction of justice, treason, perverting the course of justice (yes, they are perverts), witness intimidation, fabrication of evidence, criminal conspiracy, misprision of felony, and anything else they can think of. Throw the book at them. Hit them upside the head with it. Several times in quick succession.

Anyway, even though "ignorance is no excuse", now that I have been informed of that law, it is incumbent upon me to inform the appropriate authorities to protect myself from future prosecution. I suggest others do the same. On all levels. From local police and FBI offices to state and federal elected officials, mayors, governors, congress people, etc.

Just draft up a letter and bring the facts to their attention as a law abiding and patriotic citizen of the United States of America.
