MANCHESTER — Professor emeritus David Ray Griffin will speak on "The Truth Behind 9/11 and American Empire: A Christian Theologian Speaks Out," at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Burr and Burton Academy's Riley Center.
Griffin is an internationally recognized theologian and author of a number of books, including "The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11," and "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions." He will also co-author "American Empire and A Better Possibility: A Political-Economic-Religious Statement," in 2006.

As a result, people can see the evidence for themselves as it was originally reported by our corporate media who did not realize what they were exposing at the time! A CNN DVD called “America Remembers†was a main source of original footage for these documentaries. In at least one of the documentaries (In Plane Site) the director holds up a copy of this DVD and suggests that you acquire a copy and see the footage for yourself. This seems pretty open, honest and fair to me, because the filmmaker is not asking you to trust him; he is asking you to investigate his claims.

Washington : Former CIA official Michael Scheuer, who headed the “bin Laden unit†in the intelligence agency, has said that though the Saudi-born fugitive was keeping a low profile, he was still powerful, and would remain in hiding until he staged another lethal attack on the US like 9/11.
