just finished a short vid summarizing Operation Northwoods for those who've never heard of it.
any & all comments, suggestions, criticisms, feedback in general would be greatly appreciated.
after waiting at the book-signing at borders for stephen colbert to finish with his impromptu appearance at the 'glamour' awards (to introduce nancy pelosi, no less), and learning of his CHANGE-induced smirkathon, i left thinking 'he may be funny but he doesnt give a sh*t"
which reminded me of a Daily Show from this past June (25th), when the guest was Steve Vogel, author of "The Pentagon: A History".
while pimping the guy's book, Jon Stewart derisively brings up 'conspiracy theories' about what did or didn't hit the Pentagon, and offers mr. vogel an opportunity to 'debunk'..
but then @ 5:14 , Mr. Stewart says, and i quote:
"the reason that the building survived was because roosevelt originally thought 'this would make a great library', and he reinforced it because he thought it was gonna have books in it when it was done with the war..."
This is a brief look at a few misleading illustrations, including figures 2-1 & 2-2 from FEMA's World Trade Center Building Performance Study, and NOVA's illustration of the WTC core.
Each of the images below depicts a cross-section of one of the Twin Towers, using a 512x512 pixel image as a scale basis for the creation of the 47 core columns at the center of each tower.
These models were created in Second Life.
First, FEMA 403 fig. 2-2, (Representative structural framing plan, upper floors), in which the core columns are depicted by red dots.
These dots are identical in size and placement to the depiction of core columns in fig. 2-1 (a structural framing plan representative of an upper floor in the towers).

The history channel (co-owned by the hearst corporation) ran a two hour piece last week, entitled '9/11 Conspiracies - Fact or Fiction?', in which the editorial staff of Popular Mechanics (also owned by the hearst corporation) were presented as 'experts', nobly 'debunking' various claims cherry-picked from among the thousands of unanswered questions, unaddressed concerns, unresolved anomalies of September 11th, 2001.
The piece featured Purdue's CG simulations of the fluid distribution analysis from AA77 @ the Pentagon, and the more recent World Trade Center impact and core column damage simulation.
Additionally, two other CG animations accompanied the hearst corporation's presentations of the 'conspiracy theories' involving United 93, and American 77 and the occupants of Wedge 1 of the Pentagon.
This entry focuses on the animation for the impact of United flight 93.
This is a simple, single-issue, undebunkable flyer i've been working on for a while now.
The WTC7 structural steel from FEMA 403, Appendix C hasn't been seen since 2002.
and this is AFTER the 'swiss cheese' appearance of it led the NY Times reporters to
call it "perhaps the deepest mystery uncovered in the investigation".
So i made a 'MISSING' flyer, similar to a missing person flyer but all about the steel.
I've contacted WPI, NIST, ARA, the NY Times, etc. and none of them seem to care.
I've contacted most of the Truthers whom i respect and none of THEM seem to care either.
(w/ the rare and gratifying exception of Richard Gage @ ae911truth.org)
I even contacted 911blogger.com, and got the same response that i got from NIST and
the Times. that is to say, none.
So after years on the sidelines i've gotten a 911blogger account to see if i can put it up myself.
