Three years ago I wrote a column headlined “PBS, Yes and No.” It dealt with controversial episodes in which the public had reason to believe PBS was associated in some fashion with a certain television program yet PBS, as a broadcasting service, didn’t have anything to do with it.
One of those episodes involved a series of programs being aired as part of a fund-raising pledge drive by the PBS-member station in Denver, KBDI. The films were produced by an organization known as “Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth” that claimed the film “9/11: Blueprint for Truth” offers “evidence that all three World Trade Center high-rises were destroyed not by fire and damage, but by explosive-controlled demolitions on September 11, 2001.”

Former Supreme Court Justice David Souter told University of New Hampshire School of Law that the “pervasive civic ignorance” in the U.S. could bring dictatorship:
I don’t worry about our losing a republican government in the United States because I’m afraid of a foreign invasion. I don’t worry about it because of a coup by the military, as has happened in some other places. What I worry about is that when problems are not addressed people will not know who is responsible, and when the problems get bad enough — as they might do for example with another serious terrorist attack, as they might do with another financial meltdown — some one person will come forward and say: ‘Give me total power and I will solve this problem.’
That is how the Roman republic fel. Augustus became emperor not because he arrested the Roman senate. He became emperor because he promised that he would solve problems that were not being solved.
Former Supreme Court justice Sandra Day O’Connor has also warned of dictatorship.
Of course, they’re not the only ones warning of fascism.

Politicians constantly urge us to never forget the victims of 9/11.
Yet the EPA lied to the heroic first responders and told them that the dust at Ground Zero was safe, when it was actually laced with a witches brew of cancer-causing chemicals which are now crippling or killing them off.
And now Congress is slashing medical care to the first responders. As Michael McAuliff notes:
Lawmakers [turned their backs on the first responders] in the budget sequester legislation Congress passed last summer to try and cut the deficit.
The sequester set up automatic budget cuts of some $1.2 trillion over 10 years, and legislators were careful to spare veterans from most of those, recognizing their sacrifices in the war on terror. But apparently no one remembered to also exempt 9/11 responders and others who first answered the call after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that started that war.
And now the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act that President Barack Obama signed on Jan. 2, 2011, faces $38-million worth of cuts in 2013 alone if the sequester is not avoided, and could lose something approaching $300 million over the current planned life of the program.

CONTINUATION OF THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN TERRORIST ATTACKS
Consistent with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency previously declared on September 14, 2001, in Proclamation 7463, with respect to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and the continuing and immediate threat of further attacks on the United States.
Because the terrorist threat continues, the national emergency declared on September 14, 2001, and the powers and authorities adopted to deal with that emergency must continue in effect beyond September 14, 2012. Therefore, I am continuing in effect for an additional year the national emergency that was declared on September 14, 2001, with respect to the terrorist threat.
This notice shall be published in the Federal Register and transmitted to the Congress.

Informing the Good People at the 8th Annual Unity Day
On September 11th, 2012, two members of “North Texans for 9/11 Truth”, Hank Black and Joe Stokes attended a Dallas area 9/11 “Unity Day” event. They prepared for the event by putting together a small mountain of professionally designed info packets which included DVDs, information cards, the AE911Truth Investigator newspaper, etc. (See the packets on the tables in photos.)
The Dallas 8th Annual Unity Day (9/11 Memorial) USA is “a purposeful event to bring people of different faiths, races, ethnicities and other uniqueness together to feel the oneness of our nation and to feel indivisible”. http://911unitydayusa.blogspot.com/
Following the ceremonies, Joe and Hank passed out at least 100 packets to people exiting the event and gathering for refreshments. Muslims, Rabbis, Christians, Marines, police, Mayors, businessmen, and reporters were among the crowd, and all were very receptive to the materials. A fair number of people already knew about the 9/11 Cover-up. As an example: Three Muslim girls who were students rushed over to thank Joe and Hank for what they were doing.
