Sheik Omran's decision to use the paper's September edition to convince Australian Muslims that 9/11 was a US-inspired conspiracy is likely to further anger moderate Muslims, who last month urged the cleric to tone down his rhetoric.
The newspaper devotes a feature to supporting claims made by a US author, David Ray Griffin, that a plane never crashed into the Pentagon and that the story was an elaborate hoax by the US.
The feature says: "The hole created in the (Pentagon) facade was not big enough to fit the nose of a plane let alone an entire (Boeing) 757 -- the question is how could such a big airplane have created such a small hole?"

Top Officials, Leaders State 9/11 Possibly an Inside Job
Each of these prominent leaders now claims that there are serious problems with the official government story of 9/11. Some of these highly respected individuals even believe that 9/11 may have been an inside job. It can be very uncomfortable to even consider the possibility that certain individuals within government were involved either in allowing the attacks to happen, or in some way facilitating them in order to forward their hidden agendas. Yet the facts increasingly point in that direction.

Open Thread: Familiarity with NY?
I've been pretty busy down here in Baton Rouge but have been trying to maintain my usual website monitoring. A lot has been said, and will be said, about how the disaster in New Orleans directly relates to 9/11, from the lack of preparation, to the lack of response, etc.
In any event, I am getting ready to go to NY for 9/11 to attend a few events. I just got word that David Ray Griffin will be giving a talk at Grace Cathedral on 9/11 in NY. Hopefully I will find out the exact times soon.
I am a newbie to NY, so if anyone can provide suggestions on where to stay cheap, the best ways to get around, and the best airport to fly into it would be much appreciated. I plan on at the very least attending the 9/11 memorial at ground zero and attending Griffin's speech as well.
Times Online Mentions Upcoming Al-Jazeera 9/11 Series
A month or two back Michael Ruppert mentioned that Al-Jazeera would be running a series on 9/11 on this years anniversary. I haven't been able to track down the exact dates and times, and I am not sure what opportunities we might have here in the U.S. to watch it either.

Inventive Methods of Spreading 9/11 Information
I've gotten a bunch of emails from people out there spreading DVDs and a couple of them came in this week which I thought were inventive ways to spread information. Perhaps these will give others ideas as well.

WBAI in New York City hosted several 9/11 skeptics on their show 'Talk Back!' on August 31st. Their guests included David Ray Griffin, Col. Robert Bowman, Peter Phillips, and Carol Brouillet, and is available to download in their archive here.

Times Online Questions 9/11 Commission's Report Validity
By allowing the attacks to happen — or in the case of the most extreme theories, by organising them under a “false flag†— the military-industrial complex in America, headed by Dick Cheney and his neocon supporters in the Project for a New American Century, guaranteed that America would stay at war and that profits would stay high. Supporters of this and similar theories point to previous occasions where America has invented incidents to justify continuing hostilities, such as during the Spanish-American conflict or the Gulf of Tonkin incident in the Vietnam war.
