for posting the JFK speech. In my mind 11/22/63 was worse than 9/11. As Meria Heller said, "That was the day the music died." I couldn't agree more. It's been all downhill since. No 11/22/63 = no 9/11/2001.

I sent you an email. I asked a Professor of economics about this video, and here was his reply;

It quotes by title (w/o naming the author) Radlauer's 2001 article cited in
my chapter (pp. 68-69). This is one of the articles most responsible for
the exaggerations by people such as Ruppert and Tarpley. It quotes the
supposed $15 billion gain thrown out by von Bulow which is nothing but an
unsourced wild guess which I could not even come close to..."

The Professor is Paul Zarembka, who has closely examined the insider trading situation, and offered a scholarly report about it in "The Hidden History of 9-11-2001". The book is inaccessible to many due to cost at this point, but several University Libraries stock the "Research in Political Economy" series. Perhaps you can view the article there. The book is vol. 23 in that series.

Zarembka's work is pretty thorough, and I'm relying on his judgment call on this one. I don't want want people to think 911blogger is tacitly endorsing this video when they see it here.

I had reservations about the video because it referred to an article by D.
Radlauer entitled "Black Tuesday, the world's largest insider trading scam"
which I have shown in my own chapter in HIDDEN HISTORY to be an
exaggeration. There is serious, much more credible research by A.M.
Poteshman, in the JOURNAL OF BUSINESS, 2006, "Unusual option market
activity and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001". Using
confidential market data the rest of us do not have access, the latter
article does confirm, with high probability, insider trading on the airline
stocks.

von Bulow's comment about $15 billion in potential profits that day is
unsourced. I could not come near to confirming the number. Repeating
undocumented assertions do not serve us well.

I would also recommend that alleged hijackers not be referred to as if that
part of the official story is correct. In this regard, I would point to
Jay Kolar's chapter in HIDDEN HISTORY.

In any case, the video does provide a lot of useful and correct information
which is valuable.

In the conclusion of his study, Poteshman says;

The option market volume ratios considered do not provide evidence of unusual option market trading in the days leading up to September 11. The volume ratios, however, are constructed out of long and short put volume and long and short call volume; simply buying puts would have been the most straightforward way for someone to have traded in the option market on foreknowledge of the attacks. A measure of abnormal long put volume was also examined and seen to be at abnormally high levels in the days leading up to the attacks. Consequently, the paper concludes that there is evidence of unusual option market activity in the days leading up to September 11 that is consistent with investors trading on advance knowledge of the attacks.

It's a good paper. There was insider trading, but the big, big numbers can't be verified.

When you have concrete and verifiable evidence (with analysis) which you have written in a scholarly, peer reviewed paper that supports the theory of real time video manipulation of the plane impacts on the Twin Towers and not just conjecture based on a poor understanding of physics, please submit it for publication and return here to debate the issue.

Until then, to argue that opposition to the "tv fakery" theory is some kind of limited hangout inside of the greater truth movement is ridiculous, insulting and divisive.

I focus my energy on working to get a new and true investigation into the events of 9/11/01 as that is the only way we will ever know what really happened and who the perpetrators truly are. The most effective way of doing this is by presenting the most solid and credible case. If you are really interested in getting new investigations, I suggest you do the same.

Impeachment. Accountability. A better world.

There is one poster who is consistently abrasive, immature, always trying to start a fight, probably has a net negative comment rating. Many of his (quite popular and polite by comparison) adversaries have been banned. Yet he lingers on. Why is this embarassing ad hominem provocateur extraordinaire protected? You can't let your rabid pit bull run loose outside your house and claim to be a responsible householder.

That putting israeli involvement in the area of holocaust denial research would be positively ridiculous. As there is clear verifiable evidence of at least a partial role in 911, and that's being really really really conservative.

What do you make of the Roswell incident? The military first announced it had captured a downed UFO, then changed the story to a weather balloon the next day. As one watches the eyewitness testimony, one has to wonder what could these octogenarians hope to gain by lying about it? I wasn't there but personally I think the most likely explanation was that an extraterrestrial vehicle did crash near Roswell. And that's just one incident amongst hundreds by reliable witnesses, including military and police, pilots and astronauts, and sometimes dozens or more witnesses from all around the world and even throughout history. I'm not saying I am a 100% true believer in extraterrestrial visitors, but at the same time, no way I'm ruling it out or censoring people for discussing it!
