Why should any challenge to official version be treated as treachery?

It’s been almost nine years since the Sept. 11 attacks yet questions still remain and accusations keep coming. Last week an influential elected member of Japan’s ruling Democratic Party and head of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs Yukisha Fujita said he believes that 9/11 was perpetrated by shadowy forces within America and then covered-up. He also claims that at least eight of the hijackers are still alive and suggests that The World Trade Center Building 7 was deliberately demolished with explosives.

An editorial in the Washington Post yesterday slammed Japanese member of parliament Yukihisa Fujita because he “seems to think that America’s rendering of the events of Sept. 11, 2001, is a gigantic hoax.” His “ideas” about the terrorist attacks “are too bizarre, half-baked and intellectually bogus to merit serious discussion.”

The only good thing about 9/11 is to see brave figures rising, like Fujita, Gage, Jones, Jersey Girls & many others restoring the face of truth. This article can be one of those defining examples of how influential media are sabotage a serious and fact based discussion about what happened on September 11, 2001. The presentation of an authoritative and genuine politician from Japan, who risks his neck for the sake of truth.

The most interesting thing about being a journalist is being able to watch the stories you cover develop and grow. The fall semester of my junior year, I took a semester off from school to cover a story that I could not afford to miss. I had been researching the events of September 11, 2001 and felt compelled to take the time to interview eye witnesses, emergency first responders, firefighters, the families of the victims and professionals in various fields to discover for myself the true nature of events that unfolded that day.

Half of Americans still don't realize that a third building also came down that day, and it wasn't hit by an airplane. There is a long list of federal investigators who say they were not allowed to do their jobs or complete the investigation, says Tim King.

The mainstream press is showing interest in a taboo, however glaring subject; the inconsistencies in the Bush White House 9/11 account.

MANHATTAN — Academy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg will produce Rebuilding Ground Zero, a six-part television series set to premiere on the Science Channel in 2011, the network announced Friday.

The series will chronicle the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site through interviews with architects, engineers, construction workers and city planners.

Spielberg will serve as executive producer and creative advisor.

Each episode will focus on one aspect of the reconstruction — from the 1,776-foot tower at One World Trade Center to the underground museum, memorial, park and transportation hub, all currently under construction.

Rudolph W. Giuliani has taken a lot of heat since Friday, and it isn’t fair. Of course he knows that George W. Bush was president when the hijacked planes hit the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

The former mayor suffered a bout of foot-in-mouth disease when he said during a television interview that “we had no domestic attacks under Bush.” Could it be that Mr. 9/11 forgot about 9/11? Not a chance. In short order, Mr. Giuliani apologized for his lapse. He said that he usually adds the words “since Sept. 11” when describing America as having been attack-free on President Bush’s watch.

Actually, even that statement is of dubious accuracy — unless one discounts post-9/11, Bush-in-the-White-House moments like the anthrax attacks, the airplane shoe bomber, the lethal assault on an El Al ticket counter in Los Angeles and, for that matter, the D.C. sniper shootings that killed 10 people and terrorized Washington and its environs.

I don't know for certain if it's appropriate to use 911Blogger for adding my own advertisement for 9/11 on Twitter. In that case I just wait the response. But I do know that Twitter is an ideal vehicle to bring proportionate messages to a broad audience. W911 brings daily 9/11 news, aiming at a critical non-biased audience.

My request to 911Blogger, which messages are widely spread by W911 on Twitter, to add an extra section to the 911Blogger website with some choices for good valid Twitterfeeds on 9/11. This will stimulate visitors to follow these messages and provide the particular accounts with more followers.

The very hard part about Twitter is the circumstance that we have to deal with a network that's visible for every participant. That's both the strong and the weak part of Twitter, concerning our efforts to spread consciousness about 9/11. Because of the dubious suspicion of unpatriotic behavior, brought by mainstream media when criticizing the official account of 9/11, many users of Twitter do not feel comfortable to follow a 9/11 news feed, even if the information is basically fulfilling their interests.

Good question! In the wake of the retirement announcements of Democratic Senators Chris Dodd and Byron Dorgan, “Hardball” host Chris Mathews had a couple of campaign strategists on to discuss the political implications for both parties. Republican Todd Harris was the target of that pointed query and he didn’t seem eager to offer an answer. I suppose he should have known better; when Chris gets his dander up, ducking his questions is a bit like waving a pork chop under the muzzle of a pit bull:

TODD HARRIS: Well Chris, as you well know, voters don’t decide elections.

MATTHEWS: No, I’m asking you a question: what has the Republican Party done for the people in the last ten, twelve years?

I’m still in shock over former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s comment that “we had no domestic attacks under Bush.” Is it possible that he meant to add “after 9/11″ and slipped up? I don’t know — forgetting to mention 9/11 is not a problem he’s had in the past.

I think Jake Tapper, on Twitter, is on to something when he suggests that Giuliani is one of many conservative who start the clock on the Bush presidency on 9/11. A smart conservative demand from President Obama right now might be that he “start the clock” on his anti-terror policy with the failed Christmas bombing. But that’s not what Giuliani’s doing here — he implies (as many Bush apologists do) that an attack that occurred nine months into the Bush presidency was Bill Clinton’s fault, while an attack that occurred 12 months into the Obama presidency was all Obama’s fault. He’s taking the right amount of flak.

A BBC investigation has cast doubt on key evidence in the case against the Libyan convicted of blowing up a US jet over the Scottish town of Lockerbie in 1988, the broadcaster said Wednesday.

A tiny fragment of the timer allegedly used to blow up Pan Am flight 103 -- crucial in linking Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi to the bomb -- was not properly tested and was also unlikely to have survived the explosion, it said...

According to the BBC's Newsnight programme, the fragment of the timer -- found embedded in a charred piece of clothing three weeks after the bombing -- was never tested to confirm if it had actually been in a blast.

Anyone who's watched a tv detective show knows that crooked police officers sometimes plant false evidence in order to frame an innocent person for the crime (and see this video).

Or police sometimes plant false evidence to convict someone who really is a criminal, just to strengthen the case.

A US appeals court has upheld the conviction and sentence of 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui.

The only person charged in the US over the attacks, Moussaoui had originally pleaded guilty to conspiracy.

In 2006 he was sentenced to life in prison for his role in planning the attacks that killed nearly 3,000.

The appeals court in Virginia rejected his claim his conviction was invalid as the government had failed to provide evidence he could have used in defence.

'Awareness'

"Moussaoui challenges the validity of his guilty plea and his sentences" on the various counts, the three-judge panel said in its ruling.

"We affirm Moussaoui's convictions and sentences in their entirety."

The appeals court also brushed aside Moussaoui's lawyers' claims that his guilty plea was invalid.

"The finality of the guilty plea, entered knowingly, intelligently, and with sufficient awareness of the relevant circumstances and likely consequences, stands," the court said in its statement.

No amount of spit and polish can clean the tarnish of the 9/11 attacks from the Bush legacy, but that didn't stop GOP strategist Mary Matalin from trying.

During a Sunday appearance on CNN, Matalin attempted to prop up an analogy between the first year of George W. Bush's presidency and that of President Barack Obama's. Raising the specter of rising unemployment, anchor John King wondered whether Republicans have the right to attack Democrats over the economy.

Matalin's response -- given sitting across a table from her husband, Democratic strategist James Carville -- was a little more than blindly partisan.

Chicago -- A Chicago group uses the internet to show people how 9-11 was an inside job, showing people that “Why a plane that wasn’t struck by a building came down… and now we have the internet!” The group admittedly knows they don’t know what happened, but claim they are just the messenger. “We really don’t know who did it” says Saad Ali, and asks how “19 cavemen came across military grade” weaponry then the governement has their “goons grab you assault you and take you out.”

I’ve spent enough time writing a synopsis about this video. These two are loons… next.

MONTREAL – A public presentation hosted by a local advocacy group Saturday evening will focus on former U.S. president George W. Bush and former U.S. vice-president Dick Cheney in connection with the events of Sept. 11, 2001.

The main speaker will be John Boncore, a longtime political and native-rights activist.

Boncore, a Mohawk who prefers the native name Dacajeweiah – Splitting the Sky – is on a fund-raising tour to finance his trial, scheduled to begin in Calgary next March 8.

Boncore was arrested by Calgary police last March 17 and charged with obstruction of justice. He said he had been trying to carry out a citizen’s arrest of Bush on war-crimes charges, while the former president was visiting Calgary on a $400-a-plate speaking engagement.

We learned today that Channel 4 plans to smash a 300 seat passenger jet into the desert filled with data collection sensors and video cameras as a scientific experiment as reported in the Guardian.

"Two pilots will parachute from the 300-seat airliner after setting it on autopilot to crash at high speed into the desert. The plane will be loaded with cameras and sensors recording the impact of the crash, which Channel 4 said would provide invaluable information about how planes react in potentially fatal accidents.

The time and location of the crash are being kept under wraps by the broadcaster, which will air the documentary, Plane Crash, next year."
