As of 10:00AM this morning a Herald sun poll is showing that over 65% of respondents agree with Union leader Kevin Bracken's view that the official explanation of 9/11 does not stand up to scientific scrutiny.

Radio host John Faine previously attacked Bracken's views on air over two days, describing him as a nutter and an extremist, and stating that his views were "offensive".

In Parliament on Wednesday Australian PM Julia Gillard stated that Bracken's views were "stupid and wrong".

Sander Hicks, the master of ceremonies, looked like an amalgam of Johnny Depp, Sean Penn and Matt Dillon; he kept things moving and implored “put your hands together” as each speaker came to the podium. Paul Zarembka played (and was) the left-leaning academic economist. He said, “The ruling class will do anything to keep in power.” The Rev. Ian Alterman preached gentleness, humility and respect. Dear Friends and fellow Truthers,

Joining the 9/11 Truth Movement isn’t joining a “conspiracy group.” It is joining a group of people who are aware of gross discrepancies in the official 9/11 story and have the courage to ask difficult questions to those who should have the answers, but are not providing them. It is also in fact joining in to help with one of humanity’s greatest opportunities to raise our consciousness. Like many others, I believe that the worlds' enlightenment by the 9/11 Truth Movement is of great concern to the planners for the "Powers That Be" (PTB). But I see the greatest immediate benefit of exposing the real 9/11 conspiracy isn’t the identification and prosecution of the individual perpetrators, but instead the general public’s realization that their daily source of “facts” which form the foundation of their world views are ultimately derived from a fascist mass-media propaganda machine which at various levels is also complicit in the distortion and cover-up of the 9/11 false-flag event. It is THIS REALIZATION on its own that will enable millions of new people to pop through the propaganda bubble and start to critically reevaluate not only 9/11, but all other areas of important local and world issues. In other words, if the PTB can nearly pull-off a lie on the scale of 9/11, what else have they lied to us about?

Citizen Investigation Team (CIT) have cited Shinki and Ed Paik’s witness accounts to support their claims that the plane said to have hit the Pentagon on 9/11 (American Airlines Flight 77), actually flew on a different flight path (‘north of Citgo’) and flew over the Pentagon. Ed Paik’s account appears in their films ‘The Pentacon’, and most recently ‘National Security Alert’ (NSA). In addition, Ed’s account has been cited repeatedly in their articles and online discussions. Dr. Peter Dale Scott, researcher, author and UC Berkeley Professor Emeritus, recently praised the latest video from CIT, ‘National Security Alert’. However, due to receiving many emails critical of CIT’s work, he issued a qualifying statement, which I asked for and received permission to post publicly. CIT’s film presents witnesses whose statements indicate, or seem to indicate, that American Airlines Flight 77 did not fly the path that we have been told knocked down light poles and caused the damage at the Pentagon, as well as the testimony of an apparent eyewitness to a plane that flew over the building. The film also contends that it is “conclusive” that AA 77 did not hit the Pentagon, that instead it flew over the building. However, in his qualifying statement, Dr. Scott says, “I do not personally believe it.” He explains, “All I endorsed was their assemblage of witnesses…. I do not draw the conclusions from their testimony that CIT does.”

We as members of the 9/11 Truth community deplore all forms of hatred and violence, including the unprovoked murderous attack by James von Brunn on June 10, 2009, in the Washington Holocaust museum. We also deplore peddlers of hatred who use such events for their own purposes, such as Glenn Beck, who recently said that von Brunn, because of his attack, was now "a hero in the 9/11Truther movement," which "would like to destroy the country" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQnfJeUzzKk).

The Ron Paul campaign is over. While he may hang in there for a few more weeks, the hope of Dr. Paul having any sway at a brokered convention has been dashed as he failed to pick up a substantial amount of delegates tonight on Super Tuesday. While he did have some double digit showings in North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, and Alaska, these winner take all states did not boost his profile in the end. The only strong states he has left are Washington and Texas, but after his poor showing tonight it is unlikely that he will succeed in those states. As much as it hurts me to admit it, Ron Paul is finished.

KEENE, NH -- Several Ron Paul supporters shadowed a much larger Clinton entourage as Bill Clinton greeted supporters downtown. The former president later called them "nuts."

During his third stop of the day, the former president posed for pictures and shook hands as he strolled down Main Street on this unseasonably warm Primary Eve day. Across the street, a few Paul supporters shouted his name.

Since the publication of The Unearthing, the Truth Movement has continued to gain momentum, contrary to everything Truth deniers and obstructionists do and say to try and stop Truth's exponential surge. After watching one of the many DVDs exposing the myth of 9/11 and attending 9/11 truth conferences in Los Angeles and Chicago, Joe Hawkins made a life-altering decision. He gave up his lucrative practice as a chiropractor to launch a full-time crusade to enlighten his entire Midwestern city.

In short order, he started his own radio program, hosted three well-attended events, coaxed semi-respectful local media coverage, and went around town sliding copies of Loose Change under professors’ doors and sticking them in car windshields. Now he leads workshops sharing activism strategies he hopes will take hold throughout the country.

Canada, that is.

This inspiring model of urging your neighbors to awaken to what really happened on 9/11 emerged not from Minneapolis or Ann Arbor but from Winnipeg, Manitoba. And Joe Hawkins hopes to light the torch in Montreal, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, and Thunder Bay, although if anyone south of the border wants to catch the spark, that’s fine with him.

"Skeptics" or Dupes? - Skeptic Magazine Not So Skeptical on 9/11 Lies

Skeptic Magazine has come out with a half-assed response to the 9/11 Truth Movement. They cite Popular Mechanics' theories about the attacks, and not much else in their 9/11 Conspiracy Theories, the 9/11 Truth Movement in Perspective.

Someone should have told them that Professor David Ray Griffin has demolished the Popular Mechanics diatribe in his Debunking 9/11 Debunking: An Answer to Popular Mechanics and Other Defenders of the Official Conspiracy Theory.

Let's forego all of that -- pretend it never happened -- and get to the accusations of the article.

But first, I just have to bring up a little definitional dispute. To the editors of "Skeptic" magazine: I am the skeptic here, not your writer Phil Molé. I am highly skeptical of the government's account of the events of September 11th 2001, and with good reasons.

9/11 Victims’ Mother: Giuliani is Part of the Problem

Growing criticism of Rudy Giuliani is reaching breaking point with even more victims’ families speaking out against his ill gotten gains from the tragic events of 9/11 including his continuous profiteering, his repeated lying and complete “incompetence”.

Sally Regenhard, whose fire-fighter son was among the 343 FDNY killed during the false flag terrorist attacks in New York, said: “If Rudolph Giuliani was running on anything but 9/11, I would not speak out, If he ran on cleaning up Times Square, getting rid of squeegee men, lowering crime - that’s indisputable.

“But when he runs on 9/11, I want the American people to know he was part of the problem,” said the grieving mother.

In 2004 Sally Regenhard made the famous statement to Giuliani: “My son was murdered because of your incompetence,” during a commission hearing in Manhattan.

A-B-Cs of spreading the 'truth' about 9-11

The 9-11 truth movement works overtime to prove the obvious, according to Dr. Joe Hawkins.

The Winnipeg chiropractor offered that kernel of insight yesterday during his seminar on Canadian activism as part of the Vancouver 9-11 Truth Conference.

Hawkins said appealing to someone's logic through concrete evidence is an established way to sway people to an alternate 9-11 theory.

This avoids "endless politics" in deciphering images or recordings that are open to interpretation.

"You don't need to have a PhD in pathology to prove a bullet wound is the cause of death," he said.

At home, Hawkins puts a little twist on keeping things simple by handing out DVDs of 9-11 documentaries. He advised his audience to do the same, saying the strategy avoids information overload for someone beginning to explore alternate theories.

He added screening a documentary for a community group is more effective because the act is a confidence-building experience.

I would like to share some thoughts about our movement and what its direction and leading ideas could be.

There are thousands and tens of thousands of us who are investing more or less time and all kinds of effort into investigating 9/11 and promoting the spread of information.

We have achieved a quite impressive investigation of our own through the cooperation of a loose network of people comunicating and sharing on the internet.
As much as wikipedia manages to compile knowledge through the global work of a myriad of individuals, has the 9/11 movement managed to put together evidence, findings, testimony, frame-information and the historical context to map out probable and improbable scenarios of the events of 9/11.

Although we still can't accurately tell a comprehensive storyline of events on our own we have disproved the official script.
And rightly, many of us feel by now confident to state that 9/11 was an inside job and are able to hint at who the perpetrators most probably were.

The natural consequence of our achievement is the spread of the truth by protest, seminars, discussion with friends and family, etc.

This might not be story-breaking news on the false-flag operation we know as 9/11 but, I found this crafty message to be rather brilliant in this time of fascism in the US of A.
The whole film is pro-truth-movement but, I found one scene to be rather refreshing.
I might be presuming a tad but, knowing a tad about films I know that certain items placed on the set are placed for a reason and after watching the film I know this certain item was placed for a reason. The same goes for the dialogue spoken by the characters.

At about 9:15-9:25 the film displays that crafty message I was talking about: the film zooms into Mark’s characters sitting at his computer desk and clearly at the right-hand corner is the official 9/11 commissions report and as he turns on his computer with the report still in the camera’s view he says, “Let’s see what lies they [the US government] are trying to sell us today.”

I don’t know about you but I found this to be subliminally fantastic.
The film is packed of these types of messages but, I found this one to be the paramount.

300 true believers get their 9/11 ‘truth’ from BAI host at St. Mark’s

April Fools’ Day fell this spring on Palm Sunday and it was a solemn occasion at St. Mark’s Church in the Bowery. There, after Sunday services, some 300 apparent true believers packed the sanctuary in the early afternoon and heard politically charged conspiracy theories surrounding the fall of the World Trade Center five-and-a-half years ago.

Ralph Schoenman, the militant left-wing co-host of WBAI radio’s “Taking Aim” program, was the draw for the varied crowd of aging beatniks, East Village couples and singletons and assorted punk anarchists and antiwar activists in black T-shirts. They paid $8 apiece to be told that the tragic events of that day represented an “inside job” and “terror at the top” of the U.S. government.

The boundaries of academic freedom

Former University of Wisconsin lecturer Kevin Barrett's new book, "Truth Jihad: My Epic Struggle Against the 9/11 Big Lie," is due out this month. The work, a culmination of Barrett's now infamous class and his personal journey hitherto, is the most recent reminder of a higher education sore spot: academic freedom.

Barrett's introductory class on Islam involved a two-week study on the events of Sept. 11, including a look into conspiracy theories held by groups like the 9/11 Truth Movement, of which Barrett is a member.

The ensuing uproar in Wisconsin, from calls in the government for Barrett's resignation to an academic defense of diversity of ideas, raised a question: Does a line exist?

The University of Minnesota Board of Regents' definition states, "Academic freedom is the freedom to discuss all relevant matters in the classroom, to explore all avenues of scholarship, research, and creative expression, and to speak or write as a public citizen without institutional discipline or restraint."

Reading the message board here I often feel optimistic about the Truth Movement. Back near this site's inception the flow of news was so much slower than it is now. I see optimism reflected in the comments of others on this site. I just want to make sure it's healthy I guess.

I originally intended this text as a response to a post in another blog. But it got too long so I decided to make a blog about it instead. I'll post the comment to bring context to the conversation (btw the blog was the Rosie O'Donnell one, didn't think many people would be reading it.)

nomoremrniceguy: It is the quiet before the storm so to speak. When following Arthur Schopenhauer's three steps (ridicule, violent opposition, self-evident) it seems anything less would mean we are headed in the wrong direction. Think of all the increased attention as of lately and we are only in the third month of 2007!
