BBC 9/11 Coverage
Former FBI agent says truth of 9/11 remains hidden - BBC
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-14892377
A former FBI agent has told the BBC that he is being prevented from telling the truth about the events of 9/11 and what has happened since.
Ali Soufan alleges that crucial intelligence was not passed on from the CIA before the attacks in 2001.
He has written a book detailing some of his claims and has been speaking to the BBC's Security Correspondent Gordon Corera in his first on camera interview on the subject.
In response to the allegations in this report the CIA issued a statement to the BBC that said: "Any suggestion that the CIA purposely refused to share critical lead information on the 9/11 plots with the FBI is baseless."
"The suggestion that the Central Intelligence Agency has requested redactions on this publication because it does not like the content is ridiculous."
The CIA decline to comment on the record about the accusations regarding waterboarding and interrogation.

“9/11 Conspiracy Roadtrip BBC show” – A Participant’s Perspective

Hello, my name is Emily Church and I am a mute.
Well, according to the masters of propaganda at the BBC/Renegade Productions.
This summer I participated in a BBC hit piece on 9/11, entitled “Conspiracy Roadtrip”. The premise is simple: five non-believers of the official story journey across the east coast of the USA in search of the truth. On the way we meet “experts” and victims of the attacks, guided by “comedian” Andrew Maxwell who believes the 9/11 commission report was the be all and end all of the 9/11 story.
The show aired a few hours ago and I felt compelled to write my version of what happened on that 8 day roadtrip, to give you the perspective you were not shown by BBC 3.
Firstly, I must tip my hat to them. They did a wonderful editing job. Anyone who has ever had a conversation with me or knows me personally will be very much aware of my opinions re: 9/11, and how outspoken I am about them. However, on this show I appear to be pretty much silent the entire way through.
I wasn’t.
Eliza Manningham-Buller: "9/11 was a crime, not an act of war"
Deputy of MI5
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/radio4/2011/09/eliza_manningham-bullers_first.html
On the tenth anniversary of the attacks on the United States on 11 September, the former director-general of MI5 reflects on the lasting significance of that day. Was it a "terrorist" crime, an act of war or something different? She offers a unique perspective on the event, its impact on the world and the repercussions which are still being felt today.
The BBC censorship has been lenient. Grey Owl has had a long post accepted and there is an interesting comment by Mike Ellis.

UK newspaper: "9/11 Ten Years on dispelled ten years of fantasy"
With the advent of the internet conspiracy theories surrounding the 9/11 attacks have reached a larger audience than perhaps any other event and have raged on for nearly ten years.
The Conspiracy Files: Ten Years On aimed to put an end to this, detailing each preposterous theory and then shooting it down with fairly incontrovertible proof.
The error however was in entertaining the theories at all and the documentary lingered on each hypothesis for a little too long for no reason other than sheer sensationalism, adding legitimacy to a largely YouTube-based debate - an arena in which streams of Justin Bieber songs altered to sound as though they were performed by chipmunks can garner 47 million views.
All the classics were here; the exploding column supports on lower Twin Tower floors, the small hole made in the Pentagon wall, the debris found miles from the United 93 crash site.
Sherlock Holmes said that when you’ve eliminated the impossible whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth’ one conspiracy theorist informed us.
BBC presents program on 9-11 "conspiracy theories" tonight
"A decade after the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania, the Conspiracy Files looks at why some people still question what really happened on 9/11."
So reads a description of tonight's BBC segment on skeptics of the official version of the events of 9-11 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0148yz5).
BBC radio featured a segment this morning about 9-11 "conspiracy theories." Interviewees were Alex Jones and Neils Harrit, among several others, including some Brits whose names I did not catch. The thrust was that young people are more gullible and more likely to question government accounts than older, more sensible people. The spokespeople for 9-11 truth movement did a great job, sounding quite normal and presenting good arguments.
Renegade Pictures and a 9/11 production for BBC3
A message I received on Facebook (and I think I know what your response might be!):
DO YOU BELIEVE THAT 9/11 WAS A CONSPIRACY?
What do you think happened on 9/11?
Was 9/11 the work of Al Qaeda? Or perhaps you think the public aren’t being told the whole story?
Who do you think was responsible for committing one of the biggest atrocities of the 21st Century?
BBC Three and Renegade Pictures are looking for young people to go on a road trip across New York to investigate what happened on that fateful day.

Carl Friar of East Anglia Truth did an interview with BBC Suffolk.
Search for "Suffolk" and "9/11" on the BBC site, the link is the fourth one down the list:
Click on this fourth link and you will get a surprise in the form of a single full stop.
One of the others managed to get the full text before it got pulled:
Searching for 'truth' about 9/11
The plane hits the south tower of the World Trade Center, 11 September 2001
Flight 175 crashed into the south tower at 0903 EDT
The Ipswich Truth Campaign is still asking questions about the 2001 attacks on New York's World Trade Center (WTC).
The group claims elements within 'the establishment' dismiss them as crackpots to stop people taking notice.
They say the mainstream media has failed to ask the right questions about September 11.
"I would encourage people not to see us as 'conspiracy theorists' because that is merely a buzzword," said Carl Friar from Ipswich Truth.
Blog Wars Continue In Infowar
At the heart of last weeks Blog War between the infowarriors (and makers of prisonplanet.com) and the BBC was arrogance. How arrogant of the BBC to dictate to a group starving for information about a perceived wrong that they were not smart enough or worthy enough to view said material. The truculent parent scolding with a meritorious sneer. The News Director for the BBC, Powers, let loose a low-bowl chundle at the like of Alex Jones. The meaningless arrogance of the infowars militia was appalling also in its unrehearsed, harsh and dillatorious foul mood. Their only attack was to scream louder.
The lack of statements from the responsible parties affecting digital changes to the story google, digg, the Internet Archive, youtube and the BBC itself- the speed with which the entire event transpired should give one pause. Just long enough to miss. Has the BBC actually managed to lose all its recordings of 911? What a facestious idea driven by some prim notion of copyright legalese. If only the infowarriors "streamed" rather than wholesale raided, it might still be there. I'd have shut my library doors against that hoodlum onslaught most days too.

CNN archivist don't think BBC could loose tapes
We received an interesting e mail from a CNN archivist in Atlanta who stated their utter disbelief at the notion that BBC has lost any of their 9/11 archives.
"I'm an archivist with the CNN News Library in Atlanta, and I can tell you with absolute certainty, the mere idea that news agencies such as ours would "misplace" any airchecks from 9/11 is preposterous. CNN has these tapes locked away from all the others. People like myself, who normally would have access to any tapes in our library, must ask special permission in order to view airchecks from that day. Multiple tapes would have been recording their broadcast that day, and there are also private agencies that record all broadcasts from all channels - constantly - in the event that a news agency missed something or needs something. They don't just have one copy... they have several. It's standard procedure, and as soon as the second plane hit, they would start recording several copies on other tapes machines all day long.
The only information they need to give out is the source of the collapse claim. No one is saying the BBC is "part of the conspiracy," we're saying that someone gave that reporter the information ahead of time. The source of that information is the only thing they can reveal that would be meaningful."

The BBC Bombshell
Archived footage of television broadcasts from 9/11/2001 shows the BBC reporting the collapse of WTC 7 about 23 minutes before it actually occurred.
BBC News correspondent Jane Standley reports that the Salomon Brothers' Building (WTC 7) has collapsed, unaware that the intact building is clearly visible behind her.
On February 22, 2007, an extensive archive of television broadcast footage covering the attack was discovered on Archive.org and publicized on a blog. The archive consists of 417 mpegs, each covering about 41 minutes of broadcast. The coverage includes the following six television stations and time spans: Continued...
