SEC: Government Destroyed Documents Regarding Pre-9/11 Put Options

SEC: Government Destroyed Documents Regarding Pre-9/11 Put Options

On September 19, 2001, CBS reported:

Sources tell CBS News that the afternoon before the attack, alarm bells were sounding over unusual trading in the U.S. stock options market.

An extraordinary number of trades were betting that American Airlines stock price would fall.

The trades are called "puts" and they involved at least 450,000 shares of American. But what raised the red flag is more than 80 percent of the orders were "puts", far outnumbering "call" options, those betting the stock would rise.

Sources say they have never seen that kind of imbalance before, reports CBS News Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson. Normally the numbers are fairly even.

After the terrorist attacks, American Airline stock price did fall obviously by 39 percent, and according to sources, that translated into well over $5 million total profit for the person or persons who bet the stock would fall.

George W Bush Florida Classroom Picture Revised

Hello Truthseekers & Truthtellers,

I revised the picture of George W Bush sitting in the Florida classroom on 9/11/01 with his blank far-away stare which he made right after hearing about the 2nd tower hit from Andrew Card.

An Idea for the Tenth Anniversary of 9/11

This September 11 we will begin the year leading up to the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

While much has been accomplished, with so much great work by so many in compiling evidence that the official story was a lie, we still have not broken through to the mainstream press or even most of the alternative press about our evidence and facts.

I am proposing a plan for the entire year leading up to and ending with the tenth anniversary of 9/11 that will hopefully bring attention to the truths as we know them.

I think a big demonstration on 9/11/09 at ground zero would be a great start.  Then each week a different state will have activities and programs, maybe in their capitol city or major city, and with fifty states, that would take us right up to the tenth anniversary, in which a massive rally and demonstration could take place at ground zero.

Wikileaks Commissions Lawyers to Defend Alleged Army Source

By Kevin Poulsen and Kim Zetter | June 11, 2010 | 3:58 pm | Categories: Bradley Manning, Sunshine and Secrecy

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange wants a copy of the chat logs in which a U.S. intelligence analyst discussed providing classified materials to the whistle-blower site, according to an e-mail shown to Wired.com by the ex-hacker who turned the analyst in.

Assange says he’s arranging the legal defense for 22-year-old Bradley Manning, now in his third week in military custody.

In the Friday e-mail to Adrian Lamo, Assange (or someone convincingly posing as him) claims he wants to forward the logs to attorneys he says he’s hired to represent Manning, though the e-mail doesn’t explain why the unnamed lawyers aren’t approaching Lamo directly.

"The experts" and 9-11 Truth

I came across this interesting article in today's New York Post entitled "Why experts are usually wrong" by David H. Freedman. I'm passing it on because I think it has particular applicability to the discu"expert" opinion on what brought down the World Trade Center towers. I hope some will enoy it, and even get a chuckle out of it, true as it is.

"Every day, expert advice assaults us from newspapers, websites and televisions. But judging by the state of the world and our lives, it doesn’t seem to be doing us much good.

"Blame the media (of course), but know that’s only a small part of the problem. Experts — that is, actual scientists, not just Dr. Phil — are often wrong, more often than we might think.

"Scientists themselves have examined the reliability of their own findings, and have come to some sobering conclusions. Take medical research, which has been especially well-scrutinized. About two-thirds of the findings published in top medical journals end up being refuted within a few years. "

Pakistan’s spy agency working with Taliban, study says

Pakistan's ISI intelligence agency provides funding, training and sanctuary to the Taliban in Afghanistan, according to a study which claimed to have the strongest evidence yet of their links.

However the report for the London School of Economics (LSE) was on Sunday dismissed by the Pakistani military as "malicious and baseless".

The LSE study, based on interviews with nine Taliban field commanders in Afghanistan between February and May this year, claims their relationship goes far beyond what is currently known.

"Although the Taliban has a strong endogenous impetus, according to Taliban commanders the ISI orchestrates, sustains and strongly influences the movement," wrote author Matt Waldman, a fellow at Harvard University.

"They say it gives sanctuary to both Taliban and Haqqani groups, and provides huge support in terms of training, funding, munitions, and supplies. In their words, this is 'as clear as the sun in the sky'."

Podcast Show #29: The Boiling Frogs Presents Peter Phillips

Peter Phillips describes Project Censored, its mission, operational style and funding, then talks about what he has coined as ‘Truth Emergency,’ and provides examples such as the intentional misreporting of the number of civilian deaths in the Iraq war, and government insider media groups such as the Rendon Group. Mr. Phillips talks about the findings of his project’s studies and research of some of the more visible left-leaning alternative media with propaganda patterns similar to the mainstream outlets, especially on issues such as Israel, 9/11, and elections, and discusses the notions of objectivity, partisanship, and conspiracy when it comes to the media today, and more!
