The IAEA, Iran And ‘Fantasy Land’
Earlier this month, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released its much-trailed report ‘presenting new evidence’, said the BBC, ‘suggesting that Iran is secretly working to obtain a nuclear weapon.’
Relying on ‘evidence provided by more than 10 member states as well as its own information’, the IAEA said Iran had carried out activities ‘relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device’.
Having looked deeply into the claims, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh commented this week in an interview with Democracy Now!:

‘But you mentioned Iraq. It’s just this — almost the same sort of — I don’t know if you want to call it a "psychosis," but it’s some sort of a fantasy land being built up here, as it was with Iraq, the same sort of — no lessons learned, obviously.’

Lynn Margulis: 1938-2011
The family of Lynn Margulis has announced that she died at home on Tuesday, November 22, at the age of 73. She had suffered a serious hemorrhagic stroke on Friday, November 18 - so serious that there was no chance of recovery.
Having authored dozens of books and scientific papers, Margulis was awarded the National Medal of Science in 1999.
In 2004, she began looking into the evidence against the official account of 9/11. She not only accepted it but also – always known for her courage - announced her views, writing in 2007:
“Whoever is responsible for bringing to grisly fruition this new false-flag operation, which has been used to justify the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as unprecedented assaults on research, education, and civil liberties, must be perversely proud of their efficient handiwork. Certainly, 19 young Arab men and a man in a cave 7,000 miles away, no matter the level of their anger, could not have masterminded and carried out 9/11: the most effective television commercial in the history of Western civilization. I suggest that those of us aware and concerned demand that the glaringly erroneous official account of 9/11 be dismissed as a fraud and a new, thorough, and impartial investigation be undertaken."

I will analyze these deep events as part of a deeper political process linking them, a process that has helped build up repressive power in America at the expense of democracy.

Perhaps it is nothing.
The 9/11 Commission Final Report did not mention it.
The FBI investigated it and interviewed many people, several different times. FBI officials never contested the media reports, nor did it ever release any findings of its investigation publicly.
Perhaps it was not important enough to warrant a note or comment ….. perhaps it is.

About ten days after 9/11 I went thru the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and deputy secretary Wolfowitz. I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the joint staff who used to work for me and one of the generals called me in he said, 'Sir, you gotta, come in, you gotta come in and talk to me a second.' I said, "Well, you're too busy". He said, "No, no." He says, "We've made the decision. We're going to war with Iraq." This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, "We're going to war with Iraq? Why?" He said, "I don't know." He said, "I guess they don't know what else to do."
So, I said, "Well did they find some information collect.. connecting Saddam to al queda?" He said, "No, no." He says, "There's nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq." He said, "I guess it's like, we don't know what to do about terrorists but we got a good military and we can take down governments and uh.." He said, "I guess if the only tool have is a hammer every problem has to look like a nail."
On 9/11, the U.S. Military Was Preparing for a Simulated Nuclear War
While September 11, 2001 is well known as the day when the U.S. suffered its worst terrorist attack, what is little known is that it was also a day when large sections of the armed forces around the nation had been preparing to fight a simulated nuclear war, as part of major training exercises being conducted at the time. In their annual exercises "Vigilant Guardian" and "Global Guardian," the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the United States Strategic Command (Stratcom) were scheduled to carry out what has been described as a "simulated air war," a "full-blown nuclear war" exercise, a "fictional nuclear war," and a "practice Armageddon."
No official attempts have been made to fully investigate these exercises and what effect they had on the military's response to the 9/11 attacks. But evidence indicates they caused at least some confusion over what was "real-world" and what was simulation, and they may also have been a factor behind the communication problems experienced by military personnel that day. Other evidence suggests that some actions that have been presented as reactions to the terrorist attacks may actually have been related to these exercises--actions such as raising the alert status of American armed services to Defcon 3 and closing the huge "blast doors" to NORAD's operations center in Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado. There is also evidence that other "practice Armageddon" exercises were being conducted at the time of the 9/11 attacks, but details of these are unknown.

Perhaps the most important exercise to consider is NORAD's exercise called "Vigilant Guardian." Close examination of this exercise is imperative due to the crucial role NORAD had to play in responding to the 9/11 attacks.
Ron Paul: Flawed policies helped lead to 9/11

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said Sunday he thinks flawed U.S. foreign policy "contributed to" the causes that led to the September 11 terrorist attacks, though he stopped short of saying the attacks were America's "fault."
Paul, appearing on CBS' "Face the Nation," said there was a "connection" between U.S. policies and the 9/11 attacks, and that "policies have an effect."
But, he emphasized, "that's a far cry from blaming America."

"Oh What A Day!" is a basic blues song with vocals and acoustic guitar by Vic Sadot and violin by Eric Golub. The song speaks to the deep and growing disillusion and sense of betrayal that many US citizens have come to feel due to the fact that the Obama-Biden regime has continued the policies of the Bush-Cheney regime and refused to investigate their crimes. Of course, serious advocates of truth and justice never felt any such sentiment. They already saw through the two party charade, which election after election, delivers a mandate to imperial wars abroad and policies of class war on the poor and middle class at home.

John Perkins apparently reached a crisis point within himself which compelled him to write “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” in which he unmasks the collusion between U.S.Government, Military, and Financial forces in order to extend U.S. empire, and his role in that process.
What he chooses not to unmask is as revealing.
Perkins wants us to believe that he is truly sorry for what he did . . . that he now “gets it” and wants to be part of the solution. Let’s examine that contention:

Any police officer has arrest authority for the crime of murder. Because US political and corporate media “leadership” lied US soldiers into obvious criminal wars, they must stand trial for these murders of US citizens and state residents under state murder laws.
You may recall that Vincent Bugliosi wrote a bestselling book on this topic in 2008.
The wars are not even close to lawful; we all learned this history in high school. Please note that both political and media “leadership” shamelessly lie about the victory all our families sacrificed to achieve through two world wars.
The wars were criminally driven with lies known to be lies as they were told. This was only possible through political and media “leadership” complicity.
Occupy’s victory means peace from criminal wars based on obvious lies, economic security and sufficiency for 100% of humanity, and unleashing suppressed technologies that transforms what it means to be human into unimaginable status.
