McKinney To Receive Munich American Peace Committee Peace Prize

"Clearly, the MAPC gave more thought to the significance of those whose struggle for peace is based on principle . . . than did the Nobel Peace Committee that rewarded our President for war."

Former Congresswoman and 2008 Green Party Presidential Nominee announced today that she has been invited to participate in an International Peace Conference scheduled to take place in Munich, Germany on February 6 - 7, 2010 while the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) meets in the same city to plan war. McKinney, a long-time proponent of abolishing NATO, is scheduled to speak on February 6 at a rally to protest the NATO "security" conference. After the rally, McKinney will participate in the International Peace Conference whose schedule and call to demonstrate against NATO war policies are included below.

International arrest warrants have been requested for George W. Bush, Richard (Dick) Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Condoleeza Rice and Alberto Gonzales at the International Criminal Court, The Hague, Netherlands.

Professor of Law Francis A. Boyle of the University of Illinois College of Law in Champain, United States of America, has issued a Complaint with the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Court against the above-mentioned for their practice of “extraordinary rendition” (forced disappearance of persons and subsequent torture) in Iraq and for criminal policy which constitutes Crimes against Humanity in violation of the Rome Statute which set up the ICC.

As such, the Accused (mentioned above) are deemed responsible for the commission of crimes within the territories of many States signatories of the Rome Statute, in violation of Rome Statute Articles 5 (1)(b), 7 (1)(a), 7 (1)(e), 7 (1)(g), 7(1)(h), 7(1)8i) and 7(1)(k). Despite the fact that the USA is not a signatory State, the ICC has the jurisdiction to prosecute under Article 12 (2)(a) of the Rome Statute.

I was downtown on 14th street in Manhattan on 9/11. It was surreal. It didn't make sense to me then either. How could both of those buildings fall down in exactly the same manner? And what about building 7?

I’ve been monitoring and participating in the 9/11 truth movement every day since 2005 . I am obsessed. I am also in a constant state of disbelief about how few people really care about stuff like 9/11 truth, or anything else beyond Dancing with the Stars and the latest Wii game. It remains surreal.

I have found it challenging (to say the least) converting people to 9/11 truth. Despite my best efforts I have only just begun to scratch the surface. There is so much resistance amongst well-to-do “smart” people. It doesn’t make sense. How much more evidence, testimony, and research do these people need to convince them it wasn’t necessarily 19 Saudi Hijackers and that there was a huge cover-up? What is really frustrating, however, is when you do convert someone and then they say something like ‘there’s nothing we can do about it, let’s go watch the Giants.’

To gain perspective on NIST's report, lets look at the new WTC 7 building. In an article published about the new WTC7 building in Architectural Record, it states: "Less apparent in the building are the structural and safety innovations that have already affected skyscraper design. Silvian Marcus, the project’s structural engineer and the C.E.O. of Cantor Seinuk, designed the original 7 WTC as a total steel structure, but this time around he developed a robust concrete core and a perimeter of redundant steel columns—to address progressive collapse concerns—that leaves the interior completely open."

This means the same guy who designed the original WTC7 building structure that according to NIST succumbed to complete structural failure in less than seven seconds due to a previously unknown and undeclared phenomenon called "thermal expansion" designed the new building long before NIST's latest analysis and recommendations were made public. I guess that must make Lucky Larry Silverstein a little nervous that his brand new skyscraper may collapse should someone light a fart in the bathroom. Not.

I heard Congressman Robert Wexler on the Randi Rhodes show yesterday. He began the website http://www.wexlerwantshearings.com outlining his case to begin impeachment hearings.

Not surprisingly, his appeals to gain MSM attention have fallen on "deaf" ears - http://journals.democraticunderground.com/kpete/4972. Smartly, I believe, he has now taken this cause to the Internet.

Though this is not directly related to 9/11 Truth, it is an excellent opportunity to expose more 9/11 Truth and who knows what else.

As we mark the six anniversary of the 9/11 attack, it is time for Americans to face the real lessons of that horrible morning. Until we dispel the myths which the Bush administration and a compliant media have been feeding us, we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes and suffer similar consequences.

Lesson 1: They Do Not Hate Us Because 'We are Free.'

For decades the U.S Government has committed horrible acts around the world, often in secret but always in the name of the American people. In every region on earth, our government has overthrown or undermined democracies, aided brutal dictatorships, and funded guerrilla wars under the guise of fighting for freedom. Until the American people grapple with this fact, our government will continue to engage in activities that destabilize the world community and bring pain and suffering to millions, including our own citizens.

I was finally stirred to briefly come out of retirement after listening to a one hour interview with Al Gore discussing his latest book, 'The Assault on Reason'. As a one who has dedicated himself to the encouragement and preservation of clear thinking, arguably the greatest gift entrusted to us by the Enlightenment, I was naturally curious about the apparent subject of his book. I've certainly had never thought of Gore as a rationalist, although he certainly can be quite rational about climate change. I've always viewed him as an aristocratic member of the Washington establishment. His deep interest in climate change was actually anomalous for one of his background and class ethos, but that hardly detracts from the great value of his missionary work in that area. Nonetheless, a leopard does not normally change his spots overnight. If it is a politician who is claiming to work toward X, his or her promise usually lacks credibility. True pols seldom fully change their spots.

The mainstream media is now acknowledging "Operation Northwoods", a (declassified) secret plan to kill innocent civilians: The objective was to "create a useful wave of indignation", blame Fidel Castro for the civilian deaths, with a view to building a pretext to invade Cuba.

This sounds familiar does it not? Northwoods was a dress rehearsal of 9/11. A mass casuality producing event involving citizens is used to galvanize public support for waging war on Afghanistan in 2001.

While 911 researchers have extensively analysed the logic of Operation Northwoods, its links to 9/11 and its role in the construction of the "Global War on Terrorism" the mainstream media has largely remained silent.

On a side note: The Press Conference was a sham. Bush is a blathering idiot and the press are controlled. We as a nation should be ashamed of ourselves for allowing Bush & Co. to dictate for the past 6+ years.

A prominent 9/11 truth activist and a reporter for Alex Jones' radio show has received threatening phone calls and death threats after exposing the fact that WTC leaseholder Larry Silverstein got a warning on the morning of 9/11 not to come to work.

We Are Change founder Luke Rudowski is well known in the movement for his prolific demonstrations in New York and most recently for his confrontation with Silverstein's security thugs, one of whom called in a false bomb threat in an attempt to frame the protest group but was later fired.

Another individual from Silverstein's security detail had told previously Rudowski on tape that Silverstein and other members of his family got a warning to to come to work on September 11 before American Airlines Flight 11 hit the north tower of the World Trade Center.

It has since emerged that two other members of Silverstein's family, his son and daughter, both of which worked in the trade towers, were mysteriously "running late" on that same morning.

Last week I wrote my congresswoman, Nita Lowey, a letter requesting the reopening of an independent investigation into the events of 9/11. I received a form letter response today thanking me for expressing my views on the war in Iraq.

What a surprise.

I wrote her another letter (see below) and intend to post any response she provides to get her on record. I also urge all of you to do the same with your congresspersons.

Breaking my silence on 9/11 Truth

Initially I preferred to keep silent about the 9/11 Truth Movement, to not be diverted from my issue. I've been associated with the China Support Network, being its founder, and in recent years, I give my speeches in that vein exclusively. That means, I have a cause and I don't need a spare cause, nor a soapbox, nor a reason to be known in the public discourse, where I've contributed since 1980. My 9/11 article is written, not oral; in any public appearance, I remain on the China issue. The article is volunteered and not sponsored; I simply think it fair to have the question, "What happened on 9/11?", and to have the indicated investigation that is genuine and impartial, rather than a whitewash. Read on, to where I suggest a role for Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly.

Recently, Rosie O'Donnell raised the issue of 9/11 Truth, questioning how one or more of the buildings fell in New York City on September 11, 2001. Also, actor Charlie Sheen has come out with his own questions and concerns about what happened that day, and we've learned that he will narrate an updated version of Loose Change, a documentary that questions the official story of 9/11. This led to mentions on television by Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck, top conservative commentators who seem to have replaced George Will and Bob Novak. (Note to youngsters: The latter were leading conservative commentators in the post-Watergate period. What's Watergate? Check Wikipedia.)

My friends! Some great things are happening and I want to update you on them all--or at least the ones I can remember right now!

First of all, St. Patrick's Day is my birthday and I received a wonderful message from my son saying how atypical his mom is: she spent her birthday protesting the government! Well, the message was wonderful because he at least remembered it was my birthday! We're making progress here . . .

My brother-in-law, his ten year old son, and I, attended (crashed) a local Iraq war vigil organized by moveon.org. I came armed with a sign, some flyers, and a bunch of David Ray Griffen and Loose Change DVDs. As soon as I got there I was looked upon with skepticism - or maybe I just felt that way. There was a decent crowd gathering and because of the fairly prominent location in White Plains, NY, the local TV news channel and the Journal News (a Gannett paper) were both there.

I did my best to get interviewed and get my sign photographed. You can see me (but unfortunately not my sign) at the beginning of the tape standing next to my nephew who was holding the yellow “Out of Iraq” sign. My sign, “9/11 Truth Ends War”, was also clearly visible at about 1:18 into this clip.

8:14 to 8:20 a.m. - American Airlines Flight 11 goes off course and is hijacked.

9:37 a.m. - Pentagon gets hit.

Keith Olbermann asks the key question whether the statistics were intentionally or unintentionally wrong. David Boies, Olbermann's guest and the author or "Courting Justice", basically avoided the question saying it is just important that the data are wrong and we need to do something about it so we are safe.

Wrong answer. This prolongs the presumption that 9/11 was carried out by UBL etc., and that we remain in grave danger from Islamic terrorists. It also absolves anyone/everyone invloved with the bad data of guilt.

Later Olbermann asked "What are the risks going forward using bad data?"

Wrong question. He should have pressed the issue of possible government complicity in falsifying this data.

Maybe someday one of these self-proclaimed newsmen will get a spine and give up their anchor jobs for the truth. Charlie Sheen did not lose his job for 9/11 truth. Would Olbermann? What about Jack Cafferty?

Perhaps a write-in campaign asking them to sacrifice their jobs for truth.

Where are Dan Rather and Ted Koppell on the topics? Doesn't anyone out there in TV newsland have a conscience and a set of cajones?
