Local engineer to bring 9/11 questions to Toronto

ENGLEWOOD — After the initial shock of the Sept. 11 destruction of the Twin Towers, after the dust settled on the official explanations of what caused the towers to fall, Jonathan Cole had questions and no real answers.
Cole is not given to wearing tin-foil hats or looking up into the dark sky over Roswell for aliens. He’s an engineer and believes in the fundamentals of science.
“For seven years, I bought the official explanations and didn’t question them,” said Cole, who is a civil engineer in Englewood. “But when I looked into the evidence, I said, ‘It’s not right, it’s not right.’”
Cole has been asked to share his research and the results of experiments at a conference in Toronto from Sept. 8 to Sept. 11 questioning the credibility of the official reports on the Sept. 11 attacks.
The International Hearings on Sept. 11, 2001 is sponsored by the International Center for 9/11 Studies and will be held at Toronto’s Ryerson University.

A Journey With Jonathan

A JOURNEY WITH JONATHAN

A Review of the Book, “Among the Truthers,” Written by Jonathan Kay

By: Jonathan H. Cole, P.E.

I should have known from the cartoons
on the cover what Jonathan Kay's book,
"Among the Truthers," would be like.
But that old saying about not judging a
book by its cover trumped my first
impression. I recalled similar cartoons
like the astronaut, flying saucers and
helicopters on my pajamas, worn as a
toddler. The book’s subtitle, "A Journey
through Americas Growing Conspiracist
Underground," should have been my
second clue as to its contents.

Yesteryears “truthers”

My great grandfather Swain (mother’s side) owned a grocery store in the Early 1920’s. He had calendars made; and in 1922 this is the one he gave out for his store advertising.

Evidently this “truther” thing runs in my blood.

Engineer questioning 9/11

Official explanation defies basic laws of physics

ENGLEWOOD — Like most Americans, Jonathan Cole was shocked by the destruction of the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001.
And like most Americans, Cole, an engineer and president of Giffels Webster Engineering, initially accepted official explanations for the towers’ destruction, but no longer.
The science doesn’t work, according to Cole, who has produced a series of simple experiments and videos that call into question the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s and other official findings on the disaster.
In late 2007, Cole began questioning all he heard when he was a sent a video of the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. The video shows the building collapsing down on itself, much like the twin towers; however, WTC 7 wasn’t struck by an aircraft.

Goebbels and Ahmadinejad: When the Truth serves their purpose.

by: F. Gridley

The recent speech by Iranian president Ahmedinejad at the UN, where he claimed that the 9/11 attacks may have come from within, has been met with withering criticism by the American press. In a Sept. 27th Wall Street Journal opinion piece, Ahmadinejad is labeled an 'Information Pariah' for 'thumbing his nose at core beliefs of our era' which core beliefs apparently include the official version of 9/11.

This is hardly the first time that the western press has discounted shocking truths that challenge 'core beliefs of the era.' The reaction by the western press to revelations of the horrors of life in the Soviet Union during the 1930s stands out as a masterpiece of intellectual dishonesty.

That there was a famine in the Ukraine in 1932 and 1933 - a famine deliberately orchestrated by the Soviet government during the “collectivization period” - and that millions of people perished as a result, is a historical fact, meticulously researched and detailed in "The Harvest of Sorrow" by Robert Conquest.

This is only the initial draft release and not all inclusive. I fully expect additions and corrections which I will periodically revise as new and better information surfaces.

Lusitania Truthers Vindicated!

Lusitania Truthers Vindicated!

By Jonathan Cole P.E.

The Jan/Feb 09 Archaeology Magazine "Lusitania's Secret Cargo" appears to have vindicated the Lusitania “Truthers” .

The article states:

"The nearly century-old debate about whether the passenger liner Lusitania was transporting British war munitions when torpedoed by a German U-boat is over.

Physical evidence of just such a cargo has been recovered from the wreck, which rests 12 miles off the Irish coast in 300 ft. of murky turbulent water."

"Lusitania was sunk off County Cork on May 7, 1915. The attack killed 1,198 people, including 128 Americans and helped push the United States into WWI. Ever since the ship went down, there have been suspicions [by conspiracy theorists known as 'the Lusitania truthers' (JC.)] that the Lusitania was carrying live munitions. Under the rules of war, that would have made the liner a legitimate target, as the Germans maintained at the time."
