They do indeed. Seriously, they even cover "multiple wargames." Rather, they link to someone else's explanation. Pirate's document is only in PDF format (really fun to work with and copy links for reference). I don't have the time to pick over the whole thing, especially when Pirate's post smells like waste-of-time or promote-my-site bait (notice how Pirate didn't bother to address even one thing from the paper he linked to?), so I scanned the document a bit and when I got to the "World Trade Center is able to withstand a 707 impact" claim I decided to check it out in more detail.

I just took part in two of the most amazing days of my life. Yesterday, I was sitting on blogger, and I saw a report about Cooper Union from Radical Pragmatist. It came to me that maybe it was important for me to be there to lend support. Wendi Polinow and I were planning on going up this morning, but I asked if she wanted to go yesterday, and she gladly said ok.

Within about an hour and a half, we were "on the road again" (a song that Wendi brought up, and stuck in my head). We had lunch at Roy Rogers on the New Jersey Turnpike. We arrived at the Plaza Hotel in Secaucus New Jersey at about 2pm. We checked in, and headed out for Manhattan.

I hadn't ridden a bus in a long time, so when we were sitting at the bus stop, the song, "Magic Bus" from The Who popped into my head. The bus took us to the Port Authority, which was this massive underground complex. Let it be known, I give all of the credit in the world to New Yorkers. Their subway system, which actually isn't that bad once you get used to it, is part of a way of life that I wouldn't want to deal with day in and day out.

"We in the government are 100 percent sure America was behind this attack, which is not the same as other attacks by Islamic groups," said the senior Baath party official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"Only the Americans can succeed in carrying out an attack just 200 meters from President Assad's residence in the most heavily guarded section of Syria," the official said.

Theory that U.S. orchestrated Sept. 11 attacks 'not absurd': Venezuela

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - President Hugo Chavez said Tuesday that it's at least plausible that the U.S. government was involved in the Sept. 11 attacks.

Chavez did not specifically accuse the U.S. government of having a hand in the Sept. 11 attacks, but rather suggested that theories of U.S. involvement bear examination.

The Venezuelan leader, an outspoken critic of U.S. President George W. Bush, was reacting to a television report investigating a theory that the Twin Towers were brought down with explosives after hijacked airplanes crashed into them in 2001.

"The hypothesis is not absurd . . . that those towers could have been dynamited," Chavez said in a speech to supporters. "A building never collapses like that, unless it's with an implosion."

"The hypothesis that is gaining strength . . . is that it was the same U.S. imperial power that planned and carried out this terrible terrorist attack or act against its own people and against citizens of all over the world," Chavez said.

After seeing the following paragraph today in Nafeez Ahmed's latest piece on 9/11, I thought maybe I should post this on blogger.

Here is the paragraph from Nafeez's piece:

There are related issues here of public safety. For instance, technologies were in place to remotely direct the hijacked aircraft to avoid the terrible scenario unfolding. “Most modern aircraft have some form of autopilot that could be re-programmed to ignore commands from a hijacker and instead take direction from the ground,” Jeff Gosling of the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, told the New Scientist one day after 9/11. Why were these technologies not used to save the aircraft? Why did the 9/11 Commission not bother to ask the same question?

Norman Mineta stated during his testimony before the 9/11 Commission:

"During the time that the airplane was coming in to the Pentagon, there was a young man who would come in and say to the Vice President, "The plane is 50 miles out." "The plane is 30 miles out." And when it got down to "the plane is 10 miles out," the young man also said to the Vice President, "Do the orders still stand?" And the Vice President turned and whipped his neck around and said, "Of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary?"

9/11 Truth Movement Needs Legal Action Group
In same vain as 9/11 scholars, first action would be to distance itself from damaging unproven theories

The momentum of the 9/11 truth movement is accelerating like never before after enjoying a cacophony of attention during yesterday's 5th anniversary coverage. The next stage needs to be the formation of a 9/11 Legal Action organization and commencement of criminal indictments following the likely Republican loss of Congress in November.

The dam on proving the destruction of the trade towers was an inside job has broken and the only thing that can stop it now is infiltration and misdirection towards unproven and discrediting theories about pods, missiles, ghost planes and other outlandish distractions.

I recently uploaded 911 Eyewitness to my myspace account for my friend to watch. I downloaded it from
www.question911.com about a 9 mos. ago if memory serves. A couple days later while editing my profile
I noticed the settings for that movie had been turned to private. Thinking it was my mistake, I took the film
down and reuploaded it, making sure it was set to public. Again, the very next day that films settings
had been changed to private. Just to spite them , I again removed it and reuploaded it this time changing
the name to just "eyewitness" and breaking the film into 3 smaller movie files. I just got home, and sure
enough, the last third of the movie has been REMOVED. So I wondered, what exactly is in the last third
of this documentary that "someone" doesnt want posted? And I watched it, and now I am thinking this...
All these people that are sick...could very well be this whole storys undoing...
Just a thought...

I attended the 7:00pm screening of "9/11: Press for Truth" at Landmark's E Street Cinema in DC. Although there were approximately 40 others in the audience, I was disappointed that more young people didn't turn out to support the movement. My initial reaction to "Press for Truth" was that of disappointment: there were too many core components left out of the film that implicate the government through MIHOP. Among the gaps: wargames, controlled demolition of the towers, the Mineta testimony, and insider trading. However, as my girlfriend and I discussed the scenes on our way home, I realized that "Press for Truth" is a perfect film for fence-sitters and those unfamiliar with 9/11 Truth.

The genius of "Press for Truth", what set it apart from other 9/11 Truth documentaries, is the raw emotion the film generates and demands from its audience. Unlike Loose Change, we see the human response to 9/11 in the form of the 'Jersey Girls'. We emphasize with the betrayal they received from the 9/11 Commission they helped create. Most importantly, they show that a group of ordinary, dedicated civilians can make a difference. Additionally, the incorporation of Paul Thompson's "9/11 Timeline" highlighted the money trail from the Pakistani ISI to the hijackers and proved to be particularly damning.
