President George W. Bush used to complain that being president was “hard work,” but he has gotten over that. Now he says it “has been a fabulous experience.”

Why fabulous? Well, a good part of it has to do with his past.

When Bush screwed up royally – whether in his personal or business affairs – he had to suffer the humiliation of asking his father or his father’s friends (sometimes Arab friends) to bail him out.

But now? Wow! As president, young George has found he can escape accountability altogether.

Now when he screws up royally, he need not call Dad; George W. Bush is himself in control of all the levers he needs to pull in order to bail himself out. Is this a great country or what?

An invertebrate Congress has been a big help. But his greatest asset limiting his liability has been the kind of folk he has gotten to work for him. The kind like Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, Scooter Libby, whom he has no problem asking to lie for him, when required.

For Bush’s powers are formidable – as he showed when Libby, convicted perjurer and obstructer of justice, was about to go off to prison. The president commuted Libby’s sentence, sending a message to others who might be called on to lie for him to hang tough and count on commutation or pardon.

A president’s unlimited power to pardon serves as the ultimate trump card to keep friends and associates out of jail.

Even so, one key aide, former CIA Director and Medal of Freedom winner, George Tenet, can be forgiven for being somewhat apprehensive these days. For he has lied under oath regarding what Bush knew about the 9/11 attacks and how early Bush knew it.

American icon Willie Nelson says he supports efforts to impeach President Bush and "throw the bastards out," adding that the administration will do anything to stay in power, including staging an event to cancel the election.

In his second appearance this month, Nelson told The Alex Jones Show today that he supported Dennis Kucinich’s attempt to impeach Bush, adding, "If you break the law you have to pay for it one way or another and if these guys haven’t broke the law nobody has."

"The deck’s been stacked and we need to figure out a way to get a new fresh deck in there in the deal and I don’t know how else to do it except throw the bastards out," said Nelson.

But the award winning star of stage and screen was quick to clarify that he didn’t see the Democrats as any kind of viable alternative.

This issue is a whopper. Watch out for black holes. In the first item we cover an excellent review of the groundbreaking film, “9/11: Press for Truth.” The subsequent article is from Spain, detailing the same concern as one third of US Americans; concerns that a normal human civilization would re-investigate with “fresh eyes,” rather than continually misled from false flag operations. However the impeachment movement is growing, and someday real investigations will proceed. But for now, even progressives like Dennis Kucinich, is waiting for the people to lead on this issue. However, this issue contains the Kucinich announcment for running for US president in 2008, but there was no mentioning of learning a critical lesson from his last campaign. He joined the campaign after Howard Dean was recognized by many as an anti-was candidate; and by competing with one another, Kucinich was part of the equation that helped to nominate a central war-voting candidate, John Kerry.

I am re-linking 9/11 Lies: Another Basis for Impeachment in light of the Senate Intelligence Committee's report that there was no connection between Saddam Hussein and 9/11, though the administration tried to push such a link.

I know that there are alot of good arguments against impeachment. For example:

• The "bad guys" will just be replaced by equally bad politicians

• It will be a token measure which will provide cover and "let off steam" without actually bringing the perps to justice

• Seeking impeachment might politicize 9/11 truth, making it seem like a Democratic issue

On the other hand, "Impeach for 9/11" is a catchy phrase, which conveys in a mere 3 words that Bush and Cheney were some of the guilty parties.

More importantly, since the President and Vice President apparently cannot be tried criminally unless they are out of office, impeachment might be a good first step to get them out of office so that criminal prosecutions can be brought.

If we start impeachment proceedings based on false statements by President Bush and Vice President Cheney linking Saddam to 9/11, can we then move the proceedings to who was REALLY behind 9/11? Is this a good strategy, or a waste of time?
