The BetterBadNews panel discuss reports that two computers siezed in a recent Al Qaeda raid had Rosie O’Donnel video clips stored on their hard drives. The subject of the video’s was the 9/11 Truth movement.

The video clips clearly show Rosie telling viewers to look outside the United States for news to find out what’s really going down. “in America we are fed propaganda”, she says.

Donald Rumsfeld and Tim Russert are also seen admiring a detailed drawing of Osama Bin Laden’s advanced network of modern military caves in Tora Bora that never existed.

For those of us concerned with the potential of Israeli involvement in the events of 9/11 we would be wise to keep tabs on what's going on in the halls of power and justice by reading the above articles.

What is clear is that the Israel Lobby has circled the wagons in anticipation of the publicity that (we hope) will surround the upcoming trial of AIPAC spies Rosen and Weissman. It is also clear that Democrats in Congress are now ready to acknowledge that the growing rhetoric aimed at Iran is in fact reflected by pressure from AIPAC on Nancy Pelosi to remove language from a recent appropriations bill that would have required Bush to seek Congress' authorization before launching any attack on Iran.

Yes, it's really him. No it ain't doctored.

An Open Letter to Mayor Giuliani

Dear Mayor Giuliani:

Since you have based your presidential campaign almost exclusively on your reaction to terrorist attacks on New York City, and since you have recently accused Democrats of being on the defense against terrorism and therefore guilty of inviting more casualties, I have one question for you: Where were you on terrorism between January 31, 2001, and September 11th?

The first date was when the U.S. Commission on National Security/21st Century issued its final report warning, as did its previous reports, of the danger of terrorist attacks on America. The George W. Bush administration did nothing about these warnings and we lost 3,000 American lives. What did you do during those critical eight months? Where were you? Were you on the defensive, or were you even paying attention?

Bill Maher is considered by most people to be a lefty liberal entertainer, and typifies the bankrupt gatekept left in America that assumes the moral high ground in opposing Bush but have no problem perpetuating a blood libel against Arabs and Muslims. How is Bill Maher, and others like him, any different than those who wrote and have promoted the Protocols of the Elders of Zion? Answer: Unlike the Protocols, very few people know that Maher and otehrs like him are frauds.

The 9/11 Truth Movement is now strong enough that we should be taking a strong stand against unfounded allegation of Arab/Muslim involvement in the attacks of 9/11. If not us, who? If not now, then when?

We have very properly marginalized intolerant voices like Eric Hufschmid--why do we not hold Bill Maher to the same standard and call him and others out for their clear bigotry against the new global scapegoats?

All I was really hoping for was an acknowledgement that demand had far outpaced supply, thus proving tangibly how well the book was selling. A few hours later, I get this:

We have not rejected the idea that we could suffer real blow-back Mr. Holland, we just don't think that blow-back explains what happened on 9/11, and with very good reason. On the other hand, we have Chomsky like a modern day Procrustes trying to fit 9/11 into his worldview by chopping off the bits (the HUGE bits) that don't fit in with his pet theories. Sure, if you ignore half of the facts or more, you can make a plausible case for 9/11 having been blow-back, but if you're going to ignore facts you could just as easily blame 9/11 on little green men from Mars. Instead, what the facts (all the facts that can be reliably verified) reveal is the not shocking fact that arab muslims probably had nothing to do with the events except to have been framed so as to galvanize public opinion behind the president's policies--not on their own merits but by a knee-jerk response that could have been foreseen by the blindest of the blind--aptly summed up as "let's kill us some ragheads".

Double-billing with Howard Zinn, who is a lukewarm supporter of 9/11 Truth. What better opportunity to expose Goodman's hypocrisy?

Let's not let Amy Goodman pose as a patriot!

Wanna join the discussion on the crimson letters page? You know people from all over the world, many uppity types but not all, come to Harvard and end up reading the Crimson. A group of people to whom all things "conspiracy" related are taboo and a sign of intellectual dishonesty. Chat in front of them about 9/11. Like you should be doing on the bus or subway, talking casually with a friend about 9/11 in a voice loud enough to hear but not so loud as to be obnoxious. First impressions count so dress nice, truthers!

Nicely done.

I've been meaning to find the time to thoughtfully respond to the current issues that have come up and i think I have it...

The recent issue of bandwidth strain and how flame wars contribute to them (among their other virtues) is of course what I'm referring to, and to begin I'd like to point out the fact that this falls under "discussing the movement instead of the 9/11" and that I'm generally pretty averse to that, as I think we are so strong on the facts that we lose by making ourselves the focus of our energies.

It's not perfect I know but in the interest of getting it out I decided not to endlessly scour it for problems... feedbag always appreciated! Neiigh!

Far too often, we pigeonhole comic and kid-oriented works into neat and tidy categories, forcing them to conform to the comic book’s stereotypical nerdy, science-fiction minded readership. But when the artists and authors step outside the kiddy confines of the genre, the results can be inspiring.

Last year, for example, we saw the release of “The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation,” a comic book take on the 9/11 Commission’s fact-driven report about that fateful day five and a half years ago. A worthwhile read for those who could manage to stay awake, the official 9/11 Commission Report was unattractive to the casual reader thanks to its length, density, and somewhat convoluted nature. The lack of readability, however, did not diminish its importance. For those recognizing the significance but unable to trudge through official report, the comic book version still uncompromisingly conveyed the weight of the original.

First, thank you for the invitation to be with you this evening. I love KPFK and I love Pacifica.

I want to especially thank KPFK General Manager Eva Georgia for her very warm embrace. I'll have to tell you: I'm not surprised when people run away from me. But, I get emotional when I am embraced.

Another KPFK sister is Margaret Prescod. We wish her a speedy recovery.

The truth is controversial and, it seems sometimes, that only a few of us believe in sharing the truth.

KPFK is committed to the truth. Thank you to those of you who are here this evening, and to KPFK supporters who put their money where their hearts are during this pledge drive.

I'm hoping there are some folks here tonight who have never been to an event like this before. I'm hoping that people are so moved by their own intolerable circumstances that they are now willing to do something different in order to get something they've never had before.
