I'm writing this from an Irish pub in Seattle.

I helped move a couple from our group up here from the bay area and am now hanging out, talking to people and enjoying the land of my birth.

I brought about a case of 9/11 truth materials with me and am giving them out to everyone I meet, and also left them at every stop along the way.

I'm always amazed at how many people still have not heard of WTC 7.

The other morning in Albany Oregon I ran into a cab company owner that knew all about 9/11 (he's a big fan of AJ). He wants to do some events, so anyone in the area should contact me and I will put you in touch with him. He also wants stuff to put in all his cabs, so I gave him a big pile of literature before I moved on.

The perception and deception dollars remain the best ice breakers around and usually lead to a greater conversation and allow the subject of 9/11 to be introduced in a natural, non-threatening way.

Bruce Ivins's lawyer, colleague share details FBI left out

Nine years have passed since five people were killed and 17 sickened by anthrax spores mailed to lawmakers and news outlets, and it's been nine months since the FBI closed its investigation into those attacks.

But new information about the anthrax, the investigation and the suspect still continue to emerge.

On Nov. 29, the University of California's Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation hosted a seminar on the Amerithrax investigation. Experts have spent years doubting that Fort Detrick scientist Bruce Ivins committed the crime, as the FBI alleges, but they have never gathered to share their knowledge and theories until Monday's meeting at the university's Washington Center.

Among those in attendance Monday was John Ezzell, a former researcher at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases who hired Ivins.

On Monday morning, we are setting up Camp OUT NOW on the lawn of the Washington Memorial. I have chosen to partake in this because for 9 years we have tried to use the "system" to bring truth and accountability for the 9/11 attacks, and the "system" does not work.

I don't know if you've noticed or not, but 9/11 is not being allowed in the courts. So I don't know what option is left. Part of 9/11 Truth is being anti-war. That's part of the reason we do what we do... or at least I've always thought it to be the case. That we are trying to end the "9/11 wars" by exposing the truth. I can't think of a better place for 9/11 Truth to be than an event designed to end the wars. Knowledge is, after all, power. So... I will be using my knowledge of 9/11 to help end these hideous and illegal wars. We have too much blood on our hands to do nothing.

I hope that you will tell your friends and family to support what it is we are trying to do. 9/11 Truth will be represented at Camp OUT NOW. Cindy has already told me I will be speaking. Please come if you can, but more importantly, don't let people forget we are out there. Please.

10,000 claims over 9/11 illness, injuries settled

New York (CNN) -- The WTC Captive Insurance Co. announced settlements Thursday with more than 10,000 plaintiffs who claimed sickness or injuries after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The settlements could total up to $657 million.

WTC Captive was created with a $1 billion FEMA grant and provides insurance coverage to the City of New York and its debris-removal contractors. In the aftermath of attacks of September 11, 2001, New York was unable to get adequate amounts of liability insurance for the rescue, recovery and debris-removal work done at the World Trade Center site.

The Peace Movement versus the 9/11Truth movement

What goes with the “split” between the anti-war movement and the 9/11Truth movement? Some light was shed on this regrettable reality in Boston the weekend of Jan. 30-31, 2010. On Saturday New England United (NEU), an umbrella group, held an anti-war strategy conference. The next day Northeast 9/11Truth held its strategy conference, in part an analysis of the previous day’s events.

As both a lifelong member of the peace movement, and a committed 9/11Truther, I attended all of the Saturday conference where I was a workshop leader, and the first half of the Sunday conference (having to leave early because of travel arrangements). My main points:

1) There is a split but it has not been initiated, nor is it maintained, by members of the 9/11Truth movement. Truthers stand just as proudly and tall in their opposition to war as anyone in the peace movement. Truthers also are just as fully dedicated to the goals of justice, equality and environmentalism as are anti-war activists.

2) The split is unilateral from the anti-war movement’s side, especially from leaders and organizers. Those at the grassroots level trust and take their cues from the leaders. The result is a widespread attitude toward 9/11Truth that ranges from scepticism to outright hostility. This is why I choose the heading “The Peace Movement versus the 9/11Truth Movement.”

3) A leading cause of the unilateral split is the work of planted agents of the state – spooks -- whose instructions are to do this splitting. The Chinese call such agents “splittists.” The peace movement has been around for decades, so there’s been loads of time for the national security state to install numerous agents within it. Added to their usual instructions to slyly foment divisiveness within peace groups and derail effective anti-war actions are new orders to combat the dynamic truth movement.

Clinton says 9/11 ringleaders are in Pakistan

NEW DELHI – U.S. officials "firmly believe" that al-Qaida leaders who planned and carried out the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, are hiding in Pakistan near its border with Afghanistan, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday.

At a news conference concluding three days of meetings, Clinton said Washington has told the Pakistani government what it believes about the location of al-Qaida leaders on its soil.

"With respect to the location of those who were part of the planning and execution of the attack of 9/11 against our country, we firmly believe that a significant number of them are in the border area of Pakistan," she said when asked about the U.S. view.

"We are actively looking for additional information that would lead us to them," she added.

The Pakistani government denies that al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and his senior lieutenants are hiding on its territory.

Bin Laden is believed to have fled into Pakistan from Afghanistan weeks after the U.S. military invaded Afghanistan in October 2001 in retaliation for the 9/11 attacks.

Von Brunn's Anti-Semitic Conspiracies: from 9/11 to Google

James von Brunn, the white supremacist arrested for the murder of a security guard at the Holocaust Museum, held numerous extremist views, as has been widely reported.

He maintained that 9/11 was the product of a Jewish conspiracy. In one posting, he claimed that only one Jewish person was killed at the World Trade Center--even though the "WTC was the nexus for international Jew trade, located in the largest Jew city in the world." He added, "It is revealing that 3 Jews laughing with glee, pointing at the exploding WTC, were caught by a neighbor on video-tape."

Like many anti-Semitics, von Brunn believed Jews controlled the world financial system, and he used the traditional data points and rhetoric of such hate-mongers: "From this cess-pool of Jews and traitors came the FTAA which in 1994, with Congressional blessings, changed its name to WTO (World Trade Organization)."

After seeing the film I'm quite curious to know where else it is showing on cable, how many of you have seen it and what you all think about the film.

I find it particularly interesting that a film about the 9/11 truth movement would get this kind of exposure on a giant corporate network like Comcast when films exposing the serious problems with the government's conspiracy theory are completely shut out.

This is a huge story: Representative Jane Harman, a hawkish, influential “Blue Dog” Democrat “was overheard on an NSA wiretap telling a suspected Israeli agent that she would lobby the Justice Department reduce espionage-related charges against two officials of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, the most powerful pro-Israel organization in Washington,” according to a report from CQ Politics:

Harman was recorded saying she would “waddle into” the AIPAC case “if you think it’ll make a difference,” according to two former senior national security officials familiar with the NSA transcript.

In exchange for Harman’s help, the sources said, the suspected Israeli agent pledged to help lobby Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., then-House minority leader, to appoint Harman chair of the Intelligence Committee after the 2006 elections, which the Democrats were heavily favored to win.

Seemingly wary of what she had just agreed to, according to an official who read the NSA transcript, Harman hung up after saying, “This conversation doesn’t exist.”

"They're attacking me and saying I'm delusional and there's no New World Order The Second Amendment, what the country's founded on--it's all my fault!"

Study: 9/11 lung problems persist years later

NEW YORK – Researchers tracking Sept. 11 responders who became ill after working at the World Trade Center site found many had lung problems years later in a study the authors said proves persistent illness in people exposed to toxic dust caused by the twin towers' collapse.

The study by the Mount Sinai Medical Center's medical monitoring program examined more than 3,000 responders between 2004 and 2007, repeating exams conducted between the middle of 2002 and 2004.

Slightly more than 24 percent of the patients had abnormal lung function, the study found. In the earlier examinations, about 28 percent of the patients had similar results.

"We know people we are following are still sick. It's confirming what we've been seeing clinically," said Dr. Jacqueline M. Moline, who treats ailing responders and co-authored the study.

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (Dec. 8) – The alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks and four co-defendants told a military judge Monday they want to immediately confess at their war-crimes tribunal, setting up likely guilty pleas and their possible executions.

The five said they decided on Nov. 4, the day President-elect Barack Obama was elected to the White House, that they were abandoning all efforts to defend themselves against the capital charges. It was as if they wanted to rush toward convictions before Obama — who has vowed to end the war-crimes trials and close Guantanamo — takes office.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and another defendant said at their arraignment in June they would welcome execution as a path to martyrdom. But word that they were giving up their defense came as a shock to some of the victims' families.

I just returned from a week on beautiful Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) in the maritime provinces of eastern Canada.

While I was there for personal reasons I did manage to do a fair amount of 9/11 truth activism during my week's stay there. I spoke with people all over the island, handed out Deception and Conception Dollars and Patriots Question 9/11 cards and left many scattered about where the public would find them.

I found my reception by all the people I talked to overwhelmingly positive and they immediately understood the relationship between 9/11 and Canada's involvement in the illegal occupation of Afghanistan.

As I plan on returning to the island in the future, I am hoping to connect with people on the island who would like to engage in more organized and larger scale activism. In 9/11 lore the people who staff the White House, the security agencies, the Pentagon and groups like PNAC and the Council of Foreign Relations are imagined to be a monolithic, united class of dastardly, swashbuckling risk-takers with permanent hard-ons for Bourne Supremacy-style "false flag" and "black bag" operations, instead of the mundanely greedy, risk-averse, backstabbing, lawn-tending, half-clever suburban golfers they are in real life. It completely misunderstands the nature of American government -- fails to see that the old maxim about "the business of America is business" is absolutely true, that the federal government in this country is really just a lo-rent time-share property seasonally occupied by this or that clan of financial interests, each of which takes its 4-year turn at the helm tinkering with the tax laws and regulatory code and the rates at the Fed in the way it thinks will best keep the money train rolling.

There were about 14 dedicated members of the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance on hand at this rally, some came from as far away as Santa Cruz. The wonderful banner you see behind the main stage was put together the night before by one of the San Jose contingent. We were generally very well received by everyone as most people are finally realizing that the criminals who have seized the White House are capable of anything, including perpetrating a false flag event such as 9/11.

(I'm taking a quick break from two days of housecleaning so this will be brief and updated more fully, asap. Don't you love it when your "Martha Stewart" relatives visit?)

I've been following the Week of Truth process with great interest as I think this WoT campaign concept is an excellent way for the truth movement to leverage its diverse, disparate and geographically distributed demographic in a simple and yet profoundly strategic manner.

When considering future WoT campaigns I think we should keep in mind most or all of the following "guidelines":

1) WoT campaigns should involve something that at least 75% of people can agree on (i.e. no brainers).

2) WoT campaigns should be activities that can be done easily from just about anywhere.

3) WoT campaigns should not involve much expense or time investment (e.g. travel).

4) WoT campaigns, whenever possible, should be in support of our larger strategic goals (more on that soon).

5) WoT campaigns should involve direct actions that everyone can do and feel empowered by doing (i.e. they are making a real difference).

At the end of Ms. Goodman's recent appearance at Modern Times Bookstore in San Francisco a group of us approached her to get her on the record regarding the need for a new investigation. After waiting patiently for her to finish signing everyone's book, cosmos asked her directly if she thought we needed a new investigation (yes, there is video) and she replied that she thought everything about 9/11 needs to be investigated (cosmos had led with a question about WTC 7).

I asked her if she was familiar with Dr. William Pepper and his new book, she lit up and said she was very interested in his book. I suggested to her that she have him on the show and that she also endorse the NYC 9/11 ballot initiative. She then hurried away with one of her handlers without further comment.

I think one thing we could do, as part of a formal Week of Truth or just informally and beginning immediately, would be to contact Ms. Goodman and Democracy Now! and ask her to have Dr. William Pepper on her show to talk about his book and the NYC ballot initiative.
