One of our most prominent, courageous and dedicated young members of NY911Truth and CHANGE, Dan Wallace is no longer with us.
Dan's father Robert Wallace gave his life on 9/11/01, leaving Dan with many unanswered questions about 9/11.
Dan was an ardent activist who showed no fear when confronted by police at street actions at WTC Building 7 and at the New York Stock Exchange. Dan was an eloquent speaker, both on videos of the street actions and at St. Mark's Church, where he gave a moving oration before a packed crowd in a recent Sunday night presentation.
Dan Wallace, 23, was found dead early Monday morning in his bed. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
He was a young man of great conviction and conscience, and his heart was as big as his smile. Dan will be sorely missed by myself and the members of "We Are Change," as well as all of us in the New York 911 Truth organization. Our hearts go out to his family, especially his mother who must endure the deaths of a husband and child in the span of only a few years.

WASHINGTON: The Bush administration plans to keep funding health programs for sick ground zero workers, enough to keep the effort alive at least through 2007, New York lawmakers said Tuesday.
New York Rep. Vito Fossella, a Republican, said the administration next week will propose spending at least $25 million more to fund a Sept. 11-related health care program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and a related effort for New York firefighters.
"It's a breakthrough," said Fossella. "For the first time in the federal budget there will be a down payment to provide for funding for continued treatment and monitoring for 9/11 responders who need our help."
Word of the new money comes a day before Bush is due to speak in New York City about the economy, and sick Sept. 11 workers plan a rally timed to the visit. It is also a week before Bush offers his budget proposal to the U.S. Congress.

911 Truth Platoon
Over at www.v911t.org some interest is being generated in a 911 Truth Platoon, not to say "party." This would be a list of 20-50 candidates with a "point wo/man" run just like a military platoon, with the dangers advertsied to the public as part of the campagin and one mission: 911 Truth. Accomplish that mission and the world will change. The difference from traditional parties is that here personalities are not stressed, but the team itself, which is backed by the army of the people. I thought combat vets would be the best people to form the list since they presumably know what danger is, what bravery is, what a team is, and what a mission is. (I am not one of them.) So far nominees include Dennis Morrisseau, Alfons Olszewski, Bob Bowman, Craig Hill, and Carol Brouillet.
One movement, one party, one slogan: 911 Truth!
Volunteers please step up to the plate. First we need some names, then focus on an election: why not the presidency?
