The following article deals with the CIA's support of, involvement with, and "manipulation" of Hollywood.
Its pretty long and more thorough with recent films like Argo and Zero Dark Thirty, but the affect of 9/11 on Hollywood is repeated constantly.
But, whats particularly interesting is the specific notation and time spent on Ben Affleck's relation to the CIA:
"The long relationship between Affleck, a prominent Hollywood liberal, and Langley seems particularly perplexing. But the mutual admiration has paid off handsomely for all concerned."

Contradictory Orders over Whether People Should Evacuate the WTC
Numerous entries examine the conflicting orders and announcements that were made, regarding whether people should evacuate or stay in the World Trade Center after the first plane hit the North Tower.
After the crash, George Tabeek, a WTC security manager, contacted the deputy fire safety directors in the Twin Towers with instructions to "evacuate the North Tower, but keep people inside the South Tower." But around the same time, some people in the North Tower heard an automated announcement advising them to stay in their offices.

A significant number of movies and television dramas were being produced at the time of the 9/11 attacks, which had storylines with some remarkable similarities to the events of September 11, 2001. These storylines featured incidents such as terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, terrorists hijacking a commercial aircraft, and terrorists causing a jumbo jet to crash in New York.
The movies and TV shows would have featured some famous actors, and were being made for major companies, such as CBS and 20th Century Fox. Furthermore, employees of the military and other U.S. government agencies are known to have assisted in developing the storylines of some of these productions. Unsurprisingly, after September 11, the movies and TV shows were either canceled or significantly rewritten so as to remove any resemblance to the 9/11 attacks.
The existence of these movies and TV dramas, at the very least, disproves claims that the 9/11 attacks could not have been foreseen. It is worth considering, however, whether these productions served a more sinister purpose in relation to 9/11, albeit unknown to most of the people working on them.
While the White House went to great lengths to keep the details of last year’s raid on the Osama bin Laden compound from penetrating the public peripheral, investigators are questioning how much intel the Pentagon passed to hotshots in Hollywood.
Lawmakers say that the May 2011 event that nearly ended the War on Terror was among the most secretive in the history of the CIA, and the Obama administration has since shunned the public from any details pertaining to the plan even after the former al-Qaeda leader’s execution and burial at sea. As skeptics scorned President Obama for his lack of transparency in the process and demanded proof, the White House largely left details of the event and what occurred before and after locked up in Washington.
According to Rep. Peter King (R-NY), insiders in Tinsletown were given the key.

This film is NOT about the RESPECTABILTY or CREDIBILTY of any one person (celebrity or not). If I wanted that, I would have made a boring film about the dozen or so ACADEMICALLY ACCREDITED scientests who have actually tested the World Trade Center dust and found UN-EXPLODED military grade NANO-THERMITE.
This film is about Hollywood's GUT FEELING that something is just not right, and the dozens of UNASWERED QUESTIONS they have - like why, after 7 years, did NIST finally have to admit WTC7 fell at FREE FALL SPEED?
I stumbled upon this clip, and did a bit of researching into the movie. "At the Berlin International Film Festival Jennifer Lopez received the "Artists for Amnesty," award presented by Amnesty International. She won the award for her role as producer and star of a film 'examining the ongoing murders of hundreds of women in a Mexican border town.'" I lived in El Paso for a few years. In my last apartment, I could look across the border into Juarez and seen the shanties and squalor. I've also spent some time researching at trying to expose the contemporary slave trade. There is a convergence of sorts in this movie. I don't care for Hollywood as a rule, but this looks like a must see:
Empire examines the symbiotic relationship between the movie industry and the military-industrial complex. Featuring interviews with Oliver Stone, Michael Moore, and Chris Hedges.
Hollywood takes another blatant swing at the 911 Truth Movement in the latest David Zucker comedy "An American Carol". Lets just start by pointing out that Bill O'Reilly stars as himself in this piece of Hollywood garbage. I would almost believe that he wrote it as well. I imagine that this is exactly what rattles around in the head of O'Reilly.
The films story revolves around a Michael Moore character poking fun at his films and beliefs. Poking fun at people who protest and yes there is the "911 Was an Inside Job" sign last to be seen as they pan through the crowd. You can only imagine where the film goes from there.
The film featuring the Bill O'Reilly style show as he brings on the Michael Moore character as well as a Rosie O'Donnell mocker where Bill can attempt to make a point. He couldn't possibly take on the subject on his real show with real people. In the end he completely dismisses the subject of 911 Truth and buries it under the half truths of Michael Moore.
This film is absolutely sickening. The only reason anyone would watch it would be to see how they attempt to reach the ignorant.
WeAreChangeLA brought our banners to the Anti-War March in full force. We had almost 50 members show up to help the 9-11 Truth stand out in a very big way. Others who attended the march exclaimed that "the 9-11 people are taking all the attention".

This march was OWNED by WeAreChange LA (with 4 massive banners) and all the other 9/11 Truth activists from Southern California who came to Hollywood to make sure that the world knows that not only are we not going away, we are bigger by the day. It seems like the Peace Movement at large is waking up to the fact that the only road to peace is one that deals with the crimes of September 11th. Awesome showing this time! I took the liberty of uploading this film to Google Video. Based on Jack Shaheen's book of the same name, it explores Hollywood's relentless vilification of Arabs and Muslims both prior to and after 911. Essential viewing.
The virally-hyped Paramount movie Cloverfield opens nationwide today.
It seems to accomplish several psychological effects with regard to 9/11 and the "War on Terror":
1) Revives imagery and visceral fear of 9/11. Cam-corder style intensifies and personalizes the effect.
2) Reinforces sense of implacable, "alien" evil threat--complete with totemic "decapitation" of the Statue of Liberty and venomous "parasites" that attack without warning.
3) Showcases latest military hardware (eg. F-22) and tactics (notably urban warfare), and portrays the Pentagon as savior.
4) Introduces use of nuclear weapons (even on US soil) as a hypothetically necessary option.
Pretending to oppose "exploitation", FOX has already used it as an opportunity to evoke 9/11 and display a 9/11 victim's mother.
Time is promoting it with a heavy hand:
"We wanted to let people live through their wildest fears but be in a safe place where the enemy is the size of a skyscraper instead of some stateless, unseen cowardly terrorist."
Note: My Sprint Katana model phone only has an 18 second record function and AGAIN -- like at the Dan Rather presentation -- I didn't have a way to record this conversation. I would have if I could. As I was feeing pretty hot-headed this morning after I posted the story “H'WOOD'S 9/11 IDIOT BRIGADE” I decided to call the New York Post at 212-930-8500 to put forth a question I had about its gossip piece.
The first individual I spoke to was a man with a thick New York accent who was immediately very rude. Because I didn’t have an entire copy of today’s New York Post in front of me, and didn’t know the exact page of the article I was looking for, he was giving me a hard time. “You’re giving me misinformation,” he kept repeating over and over. “The article you are looking for is not in the opinion section.”
