In a response to PNAC associate Robert Kagan, former Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz has suggested that a ‘compelling crisis’ such as Pearl Harbor or 9/11 may help bolster America’s stature in the world, which, Wolfowitz clearly hints, has been damaged by the Bush administration:

America’s future leadership role may depend even more on how threatening the world appears. Historically, that leadership role has often emerged out of a compelling crisis: Pearl Harbour, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the Iran hostage crisis, Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait, or the attacks of 9/11.

Such a role would imply even more U.S. troops around the world and the need to maintain and even expand the state of crisis. In other words, it would be a continuation of the so-called ‘Wolfowitz Doctrine,’ a military-first approach to world dominance where the U.S. would function unilaterally as a pre-emptive security arm for world conflicts. However, despite Wolfowitz’s pre-war boast that Iraqis would "greet us as liberators," the phony WMDs episode has likely soured public support for such pre-emptive action.

Appearing on Fox News' Hannity and Colmes yesterday, Malik Shabazz, the attorney for the New Black Panther Party, reiterated that many 9/11 families are taking action against the government and the FAA for at the very least having foreknowledge of the attacks.

Shabazz, also the spokesman for the Black Lawyers For Justice group, appeared as a guest in order to defend Minnesota Democratic Congressman Keith Ellison who compared President Bush to Hitler in a recent speech at an atheists meeting in Minnesota.

Ellison, a black muslim convert and the first muslim Congressman, compared 9/11 to the destruction of the Reichstag, the German parliament, in 1933. The building was burned down by the Nazis and blamed on Communist infiltrators in order to justify Hitler's later seizure of emergency powers.

"It's almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that," Ellison said. "After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted"

A reporter advancing 9/11 conspiracy theories in a heated exchange with advisers to Rudy Giuliani was arrested following Tuesday night's Republican debate.

Police in Goffstown, N.H., confirmed to RAW STORY that freelance reporter Matt Lepacek was arrested for trespassing following the debate at St. Anselm College in Goffstown. Lepacek was asking a Giuliani adviser about comments the former mayor made on ABC News on Sept. 11 that some say show he had foreknowledge that the World Trade Center would collapse.

Police refused to release more information about Lepacek's case prior to his first scheduled court appearance July 3.

This letter I wrote actually made it into the Ashland (OH) Times-Gazette

This Thanksgiving a man took a giant step towards the embrace of our founding fathers and the Constitution. The man was Bob Pettit, the sole proprietor of Dor-Lo Pizza who utilized his GOD given right to free speech. Mr. Pettit displayed “9-11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB – INFOWARS.COM” outside of his business. For those who don’t know the phrase, it refers to the allegation that criminal elements of the U.S. government orchestrated 9-11 as a pretext for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. This has paved the road for 3,000+ U.S. military deaths and up to 650,000 Iraqis.

Let us briefly examine the evidence put forth by the 9-11 Commission. They say that the towers collapsed due to fire, this being first time EVER in history for a modern steel framed high rise. Frank D. DeMartini, the Manager of WTC Construction & Project Management stated on 25 Jan 01 that the twin towers were built like a mosquito net and that a jet liner striking them would be equivalent to poking a pencil through that net. He also stated that they were designed to take a hit from a 707, the largest jet liner at the time, possibly even multiple hits. Also the time taken for each building to collapse was just short of freefall speed. This is only possible through the utilization of controlled demolitions.
