April 16th through April 22nd has been designated the Week of Truth in a concerted effort to break 9/11 Truth into the mainstream dialogue by pushing a book, The Shell Game, by Steve Alten, to the top of the New York Times Bestseller List. Simultaneously, truth is breaking out in other places, the movement, and truth are on the upswing.

April 16th-22nd was designated the ”“Week of Truth” in a concerted grassroots campaign by 9/11 Truth activists to break 9/11 Truth into the national dialogue by pushing a compelling work of fiction, The Shell Game to the top of the New York Times Bestseller list and get the author, Steve Alten, back on national television and radio shows. It might be easier to herd cats than to get a large, diverse, growing movement to focus on any one particular action. The movement is not monolithic and there are distinct disagreements on many aspects of 9/11, although even government officials are finally beginning to come to the consensus that the official 9/11 Report was a massive lie or cover-up and that, there has yet to be a genuine investigation into the crime of the attacks that took place on September 11th 2001.

By happy synchronicity, one of the best spokespeople of the 9/11 Truth Movement, Dr. David Ray Griffin, has also recently published a book- 9/11 Contradictions- An Open Letter to Congress and the Press. The book has been sent to Congressional Representatives, as well as to Senators and succinctly outlines 25 major contradictions within the official story, which together demonstrate that, by definition, a story with so many internal contradictions is an “outrageous” conspiracy theory, which should not be tolerated by honest journalists or public servants. As The Shell Game has moved up on Amazon charts, so has 9/11 Contradictions.

Two papers were accepted for publication out of six submitted to peer-reviewed technical journals after advice to do so from Noam Chomsky

Dr. Steven E. Jones, Dr. Frank M. Legge, Kevin R. Ryan, Anthony F. Szamboti, and James R. Gourley have created an ingenious summary of 14 assertions of fact by NIST and FEMA (that actually contradict their conclusions) that now have to be addressed by the scientific community due to the article's publication in a peer-reviewed civil engineering journal. This is a historic moment, and I am extremely grateful for their consistent efforts.

So, anyway, I'm going to be putting it out there in the world and on the web, and posting updates, new ideas/material as appropriate- please chime in with comments, ideas, links, etc.

I just posted this as a diary at OpEdNews.com. If you haven't heard about that site, consider submitting your favorite breaking news links and original writing there as well. Anyone can publish a diary, and if their editor's think it meets the level of an article, it can be headlined and picked up by google news and all the rest. OpEdNews.com gets 600,000 visitors a month, they're around 29,000 on Alexa and well-known journalists and reporters have blogs and submit articles to be published there. They basically allow anyone to say anything we want about anything, which is why it gets so many visitors and participants. The Journal article was Dugg in Science- I put this one in Political News where people interested in political truth issues have a heavier presence; Digg was science/tech oriented when it began, and has evolved by popular demand (and the owners apparently like all the traffic they get- to the point of placating the public's wrath, even at the expense of offending industry and facing possible legal problems- see my comment in Be the Media Revolution http://www.911blogger.com/node/15094 about the HD DVD most-popular post.

"Inside 9/11" is an Emmy winning documentary made by the National Geographic Channel. The film goes through the events of 9/11 chronologically.

Even though the film itself is two hours long, it doesn't mention Building 7 even once, as you'll see in this video clip.

The program doesn't bother to mention either the collapse or the building itself. Instead it skips straight from the North Tower collapse (10:30 AM) to 8:30 PM.

It seems just like the 9/11 Commission Report, Building 7 fails to turn up.

Evidence Room: Hijacker’s DNA, FBI Fingerprints

Stories have been written with headlines stating the FBI had the terrorists’ DNA before the Sept. 11th attacks. The information behind those headlines was rooted in chapter 30 - a two and a half page chapter titled The Terrorists, in the book Who They Were, Inside The World Trade Center DNA Story: The Unprecedented Effort To Identify The Missing by, Robert C. Shaler - Director of the Forensic Biology Dept in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) of New York. The information in chapter 30 briefly and unceremoniously outlines the DNA identification of three of the ten alleged terrorists that flew planes into NYC’s World Trade Center buildings.

A side note of history I ran across the other day that might prove to be helpful. One of the biggest complaints I hear from skeptics is that “it would have taken miles of wire” to set charges in the WTC’s. Not necessarily true. Certainly by now we all know about commercial wireless blast systems, but as I’ve just learned, militaries have been using forms of wireless detonation for explosives at least since WW II.

I thought I would share this because I’ve heard no one in the 9/11 movement mention the history of Kiev, Ukraine September 19 – 26, 1941 and found it ironically important. If the bulk of the WTC's had been rigged with wireless detonation devices, that sure would take a lot of the manpower out of the conventional wired method. It is also historical record that buildings - not just one or two, but dozens - have been successfully destroyed by wireless detonation since at least 1941. I found the information in 2 different books and the published Nuremberg Trial testimony.

Larry A. Silverstein, who has won nearly $4.6 billion in insurance payments to cover his losses and help him rebuild at the World Trade Center site, is seeking $12.3 billion in damages from airlines and airport security companies for the 9/11 attack.

Mr. Silverstein, the developer of ground zero, sought the damages, whose amount was not previously known, in a claim filed in 2004, that says the airlines and airport security companies failed to prevent terrorists from hijacking the planes used to destroy the buildings.

His case was consolidated last week with similar, earlier lawsuits brought by families of some victims of the attack and by other property owners. But in seeking $12.3 billion, he is by far the biggest claimant in the litigation.

The size of Mr. Silverstein’s claim was revealed last week at a status conference on the litigation in United States District Court in Manhattan.

On Feb. 26, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Huntington Beach, delivered a 60-minute speech detailing how the Bush administration has “intentionally obstructed Congress” in its investigations for the past seven years.

The first part of Rohrabacher’s speech covered his investigation of the ties between 1995 “Oklahoma City bomber and murderer Terry Nichols” and Al Qaeda’s terrorist leader Ramzi Yousef, “the mastermind of the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993,” who were both in Cebu City in the Philippines during the same time frame, both using similar bombs, two years apart, to blow up American targets.

On Monday, February 3, 2008, South Texas We Are CHANGE & PNACitizen attended the University of Texas- Pan American (UTPA) President Bill Clinton rally in support of Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
