What can be learned from the demolition of the 41-story building (The Bankers Trust or the Deutsche Bank Building) adjacent to the WTC towers?

Perhaps this how B7 would have been taken down, had it not been demolished on 9/11/01.

Questions about this demolition remain. Why are there now lawsuits? Why was there a fire during the work? What is the mystery about the company selected to be involved in the demolition, which now no longer exists? Or are these events just 'all in a day's work' in New York City with it's corruption and scandals? What was the full extent of the body parts discovered there?

Yesterday, at a very late hour for me, James Kirchick published online in The New Republic his article "Paul's Pause". As it looked at the time like no reader had yet to post even one word in the comments section, I decided to take the opportunity to speak my 9/11 truther mind and point out why it is more important for The New Republic (and Kirchick) to be focused on a few unanswered questions about Rudy Giuliani and 9/11 than on Ron Paul and his newsletters.

There appears to be a remarkable correlation between the floors upgraded for fireproofing in the WTC towers, in the years preceding 9/11/01, and the floors of impact, fire and failure. The fireproofing upgrades would have allowed for shutdown of the affected floors, and the exposure of the floor assemblies and the columns for a significant period of time. Exactly what work was done during that time?

In some sections of the NIST WTC report, the exact floors upgraded are listed. Other sections of the report suggest even more floors were upgraded, a total of 18 floors in WTC 1 and 13 floors in WTC 2, but the additional floors involved are not specified.[1]

The delayed National Institute of Standards and Technology report on the collapse of the World Trade Center 7 following the 9/11 terrorist attack in 2001 will be released for public comment this July. A final version will be published a month later, in August 2008. NIST’s investigation of the WTC 7 collapse was supposed to have been completed by the end of 2006, but more complex, and time-consuming, computer simulations, along with a consideration of some additional evidence (mainly architectural and construction documents and plans), has stretched out the process, according to Michael E. Newman of NIST.

Some 9/11 conspiracy theorists maintain that WTC 7 was “pulled down” in a controlled demolition ordered by the government, an allegation that has been advanced by celebrity “9/11 Truthers” Charlie Sheen and Rosie O’Donnell. A colleague from the Czech-Slovak 911 movement have sent me the link to a new video (whose original intention was to debunk another debunkers video about WTC7)

But in fact it shows much more than just counterarguments against the debunkers video.

It shows that from the North tower were during the "collapse" clearly visibly ejected large chunks of its core - ripped in pieces of size of several floors, weghting probably at least hundreds of tons - to a realy considerable distance. - They were in past notoricaly confused with the perimeter columns - but perimeter columns were much thinner and mounted with much narower distances. The column distance in chunks - they can be seen in the video - compared to the north face 64m reference, is at least 4 meters, while the distance of the perimeter columns was 1m. The beam structure on the video looks like literally fitting in the proportions of the core mount - so the assumption it is the chunks of core, not the perimeter, looks like one very well supported. What force ripped the large core pieces lateraly out of the building? A Gravitation??

Emery Roth and Sons employed Laffoley in its WTC design group. Laffoley reports, "I got assigned floors 15 to 45 in tower two." One of his ideas was so liked that it almost won approval. His connecting bridges would have been a major alteration.

Laffoley says chief architect Minoru Yamasaki "was into pure, exaggerated capitalism....He was the one that got the Bin Laden construction company started....He trained them in his style....So he...had them work on the World Trade Center...."

Check out the video below! If you pause at 11 sec. you can see the big fire ball coming from the right hand side of the south tower. Then a sec or so later you can catch the plume of smoke that shots out from the left side, shooting debris out. In the clip after that watch the North Tower very closely, around 21 sec in or so, as the South Tower comes down you can see an entire floor of the North Tower erupt in flames. So I'd say that some of the explosives people on ground zero heard that day, as the first tower was coming down, was from the North Tower. The noise from the explosives in the South Tower as it fell would have somewhat masked the noise coming from the North tower.
I have yet to see much talk on this concept, so I thought I'd throw it out there for my fellow truthers.

The government has been forced to admit that the fires in World Trade Center buildings 1, 2 and 7 were not hot enough to melt steel. That's because maximum temperatures reached by burning jet fuel, diesel, office supplies and equipment, and the other flammable material which could possibly have burned in the World Trade Centers are far below the melting point of steel.

But two pieces of evidence prove that temperatures within some parts of the Trade Centers were higher than the melting point of steel:

• Dr. Steven Jones found iron spheres in samples of dust from the World Trade Center which were collected by ground zero resident Janette MacKinlay. The existence of iron spheres in the WTC dust was independently verified by the government's U.S. Geological Survey itself.

I have been spending the last few hours trying to come up with a way to compare the explosive forces between the '93 bomb and the plane impacts of 2001. However, my lack of expertise in this area of physics, pertaining to kinetic energy, explosive force, pressure, etc. is preventing me from making any sort of informed conclusion. On the other hand the information I have gathered suggests ( and I use that term lightly) that a bomb ( on the order of magnitude used in the '93 bombings: The bomb exploded in the underground garage at 12:17 P.M., generating a pressure estimated over one GPa (Giga Pascal) and opening a 30-meter-wide (98 foot) hole through four sublevels of concrete. The detonation velocity of this bomb was about 15,000 ft/s (4.5 km/s).
